CHAPTER 9: MAKING OTHERS JEALOUS THROUGH SOAP?

Aegon didn’t have to wait long before Xiu came back wearing a light white dress, looking completely refreshed. Her fair skin seemed to glow under the sunlight, and a sweet fragrance lingered in the playground before her.

She skipped over to Aegon, and before he could even say anything, she bombarded his chubby face with kisses. The only time she stopped was to let him breathe before once again raining down kisses all over him.

"Stop!!" Aegon shouted as he pushed her face away with both hands.

"Hehe, you can’t stop me now," Xiu giggled and leaned in again, ready to shower him with even more kisses.

"I’ll complain to Opa!" Aegon quickly brought out his trump card.

As expected, Xiu froze and pouted at him. "You don’t love your aunt anymore?"

"I do, but I also love my face," Aegon nodded firmly. "I’ll need to clean it now."

"That’s a small thing," Xiu smiled mischievously and kissed his cheeks again. But this time, the kiss somehow cleaned off his face in an instant. "There you go! My Magical Kiss can do wonders."

Aegon smiled helplessly at his overexcited aunt. "This is better. You didn’t have such a good reaction previously."

"That’s because your aunt likes to think nonsense," Xiu said casually. "Anyways, pay attention to your creation. It works so well! I knew my Little Sun would be the smartest in the whole world."

Aegon knew she was trying to change the subject, so he let her be and sniffed softly. Since he was already so close to her, he could easily smell the faint fragrance of the soap.

There wasn’t much of a visible difference in her skin because she usually kept it in good condition. But Aegon could clearly tell that this soap would have a good effect on normal people if they used it regularly for a long time.

"It’s very good," Aegon nodded in agreement.

Sheila also came closer to them and smiled in amazement. "Young Master, how did you even think of this?"

"Opa brings me here often, and I liked the fragrance here," Aegon said honestly.

"Give your mind a little rest," Xiu said. "You don’t need to think so much."

"I’m just making my life convenient," Aegon replied. "By the way, are Moonmint flowers expensive? And the other materials too?"

"You want to make more soaps?" Xiu guessed his intention.

"Yes. I want to give them to everyone in our mansion," Aegon nodded and said. "But I’m not sure if the materials are expensive."

Sheila was touched by his words and couldn’t help smiling even more. She really adored this little gentleman who behaved far more maturely than others of his age.

She never really had anyone who cared about her before she came to work under Xiu, so even this small gesture touched her heart deeply.

"Young Master, leave it to me," Sheila said with a proud look. "I’ll make all the soaps for you and also distribute them to others. It would be my honor."

"But what about the materials?"

Aegon really wanted to bring out the money he had gotten from the system, but he had no explanation for it, so he stayed quiet.

"Are you forgetting who your Aunt is?" Xiu snorted and said, turning toward Sheila. "Make the preparations. I’ll handle the rest."

"Understood!"

"Also, tell all the girls to wash themselves properly with the new soaps for Little Sun’s birthday. Make the servants of our guests jealous," Xiu added with a grin.

"Of course, everyone should know about the invention of our Young Master," Sheila was also smiling widely now.

For some reason, she seemed even more excited than Aegon had ever seen her before.

’What jealous? I just want to keep ourselves clean and smell good,’ Aegon was speechless as he looked at the way both of them were smiling.

"What would be the soap’s name?" Sheila asked as she turned to look at him.

"I didn’t think of that," Aegon answered with uncertainty. "Maybe we can just call them Mint Soaps or Moon Soaps."

"Good one. We shall call them Moon Soaps from AVA Company," Xiu said thoughtfully. "I’ll first go and talk to Dad. He may have some good ideas regarding this."

"I shall get back to work then," Sheila bowed before them and left with an excited smile on her face.

"Do you want to play here a bit more?" Xiu asked.

Aegon nodded his head since he really liked the atmosphere here. It was open, full of nature. It felt as if he had gained some long-forgotten freedom.

She put him down and kissed his forehead. "Then, play here as much as you want. I have something to ask from Dad."

"Is it because we took the flowers?" Aegon asked nervously. "Will he scold you?"

He had seen how much Arnold cared for and loved this garden, so he was really afraid it would make him upset. It wasn’t like they ever scolded him, but he didn’t want them to be sad because of him.

He had already taken away his grandma from them when he was born.

"Do you know why Dad loves this garden so much?" Xiu asked, noticing the fear in his eyes.

Aegon shook his head.

"It’s because Mom used to love flowers a lot. They were basically her second love," Xiu smiled gently and said. "And do you know who my Mom loved the most?"

She patted his head and said softly, "It was you. I’m sure she is watching over us right now from the heavens, and I can say for sure she will be happy that her dear grandson also loves flowers. It doesn’t matter if you take them for your own use."

Aegon nodded in understanding.

"Good, so don’t worry about these small things. Whether it’s your Opa or me, we can never be upset because of you. You’re our Little Sun, so how can the light of our life ever upset us?" Xiu kissed his cheeks again and said. "Understood?"

"I understand." Aegon smiled cutely at her. "I love you both too!"

"Aghh!! Don’t make that cute face or I’ll really take a bite," Xiu quickly averted her eyes because she knew herself well. She had practically no self-control when it came to Aegon.

She sighed and stood up. "Take care of yourself, okay?"

Aegon hummed in reply.

Xiu smiled and left the garden while giving side glances at the corners of the garden. She whispered to no one, "If even a strand of his hair is harmed, then purgatory awaits you all."

No reply came, but the air itself seemed to shiver under her words.
