Speaking of being a guest I felt my host approaching the piece of land I was on and turned to face them with a smile. The great darkness covered a vast amount of my vision as two red glowing orbs stared down at me with what seemed almost like embarrassment. "Hello." that same distorted voice spoke into my head. "Good to see you too Giratina." I said with a smile. To my surprise the darkness around Giratina receded and it's true form began to twist and shrink before taking on a human shape. -

The form Giratina took was to my surprise a woman's. To be specific an incredibly pale skinned Caucasian woman with long black hair that hung down to her ankles in six braids that had golden ornaments at each end. On her head sat a dull tarnished golden band tapered into a V shape between her eyebrows. She wore a tight outfit that consisted of a diamond shaped top that left her belly and back mostly exposed. On her arms several gray bands sat while a single long golden claw ring attached to a band of black cloth on her wrists sat on both of her middle fingers.-

Her hips were wrapped in a gauze-like black belt of fabric that extended down her front and back like a long dress but open at the sides exposing her fair skinned legs. On her feet she wore golden sandals of an old style leaving her feet mostly exposed. Her face was beautiful beyond description however with two ruby colored eyes that glimmered with power looking at me. She stumbled after the transformation was complete but I grasped her tightly to hold her up. "I take it you are not used to taking human form." I said not bothered by our proximity.-

I was alone in that though as a dusting of pink rose on her cheeks. "I haven't done it in many thousands of years." she said with a soft embarrassed tone. "I am glad to see you recovered so well. Perhaps you may never return to how you were when we first met but that's okay, change is part of life after all." I said with a smile as I waved my hand and caused a set of chairs to manifest for us. Giratina blushed the entire time as I helped her sit before I took my own seat while she seemed reluctant to release me but did so in the end.-

"I am.... grateful that you have helped me regain my mind to a degree. I wanted to congratulate you on your ascension as well. Here a gift." she said red faced as we faced each other before a dark fruit with swirling patterns across it formed on her palm. I gently took it and identified it with the system and was left shocked at what it was.

[Item name: Distortion berry

Grade: Relic

Description: A unique berry that was created by an oran berry bush being brought into the distortion realm and mutating over many generations to take on the properties of the realm. A powerful and unique resource that has unknown properties but immense value.]

"This is quite the gift. Thank you." I said genuinely happy with the fruit.

"Will you visit me now that you are a god? The others still avoid me." she asked with a hopeful expression.

"Sure, not like i'm going to be super busy or anything. Stopping by to visit you wouldn't be too much of an issue. You could also come visit me as well, who knows maybe getting out of this place will help you recover some more." I said with a shrug.

"I think I would like that." she said with a smile.

I spent the next hour or so talking with Giratina in a relaxed manner after using some berries to make us something to sip on as we talked. The topics we went over were more or less just about the things she had glossed over and missed while insane over the years. It was an awkward situation where she both knew what had been going on in some places while totally missing massive chunks of important changes in a lot of others.-

I only had the general knowledge in most of this stuff since her memory issues went back thousands or even tens of thousands of years but I did my best to cover what I did know. Apparently one thing she was spotty on was the whole great space-time calamity that went on in old Hisui. She seemed very uncomfortable at the discovery that her role as the balancing force between Dialga and Palkia had been passed off to a human after her corruption as she didn't even try to step in.-

I tried to reassure her that she shouldn't blame herself for that given the circumstances but it didn't really help. Still all things come to an end and I said my farewells to the reluctant to part goddess as I came back to the regular world. For the rest of the day I relaxed with my pokemon before going back to bed at night. The next day I called Oak, Wes and Rui to talk about my imminent departure. I had no reason to stick around Kanto/Johto anymore and if anything was eager to begin my relaxing immortal life in Orre.-

I figured I'd stop by Hoenn first since I should catch up with Birch and the Stones but otherwise I had nothing else on the agenda. Oak tried to convince me to take up a gym leader position at least until another replacement could be found but I rejected the idea. Not only did I simply not want the responsibilities that came with the job but I knew that many people would bother me about representing humanity amongst the gods as well if I did take it. Simply put it was too much of a hassle in my opinion.-

My departure from Kanto/Johto was quickly spread around along with a simple but important piece of information, the next gym leader of Vermillion city would be getting my property in the city. This sent the Elite level trainer all over the world into a frenzy to apply for the position. The property was not just a normal piece of land as far as the world was concerned but a status symbol as the place the only human god created. As much as the league wanted the gym leader position filled quickly they were forced to be extra stringent on who got it now with my property on the line.
