A random pokemon journey
Takedown
I silently moved through the base that was more or less the same set up as the one under Surges gym until I found the server room where I began my task of gathering evidence. Giovanni's trust in Sabrina was apparent as I did so as she had all the records related to scientific research and projects that should never see the light of day. Repugnant things like genetic manipulation of the highest order and even several attempts to clone the original Mew using her fossilized eyelash, one that to my horror apparently succeeded.-
Luckily the records made it clear this creature had rebelled and vanished into Cerulean cave. 'I'll have to take a look at this once I'm done murdering it's creators.' I thought with a shrug before going back over all the evidence again. I would say I got about halfway done copying the files when Sabrina showed up with a few grunts and ordered them to start clearing the servers of any incriminating files leading to her. I scoffed at this last ditch effort from the shadows as by the time they were done with that I'd have already made a full copy of all the files and merely had to create a physical version for the league before I made my move.-
"Ma'am there seems to have been recent access to many of the files, minutes before we entered this room in fact." One of the grunts in a lab coat reported seriously. I moved the moment I understood that I had been found out and solidified space in the room. A good move as the moment the report was fully said Sabrina glowed and her figure briefly blurred as she tried to teleport away only to snap back into place with a disoriented look.-
"Come out already." she said coldly and I rose from the shadow I was in with a sigh. "You know I was going to get the evidence all nice and neatly organized for the league before killing all of you. But since I was found out early I suppose you'll all just need to decay here for a bit first." I said as I tossed out Hades keystone from my pocket. The stone bounced a couple of times across the tile floor before it's smoky form burst free in a cacophony of hisses and wicked laughter as the smoke rapidly expanded to it's full volume filling the room.-
Sabrina tried to send out her pokemon to fight back but it didn't help as she was type countered by a pokemon beyond champion level and she was a mere elite trainer, a high one but and elite tier still. All her pokemon were of the psychic type and Hades was ghost and dark type so there was never any chance of victory the moment I tossed it out. "Kill her quickly, we don't want to risk her escaping because you played carelessly. The rest you are free to play with as you see fit." I said to Hades casually as I waited for the files to finish copying.-
Sabrina and her pokemon tried erecting a barrier around themselves out of psychic energy and it worked too, for about three seconds. After that it shattered like glass from Hades power and it was over the moment it's smoky form reached them. Both her pokemon and her own heads were compressed violently causing them to burst like a grape squeezed between two fingers. The grunts screamed in terror at this display but I ignored them as their fates were going to be far less quick and painless.-
Soon enough the files finished copying to my device and I left the room and released Tank, Vulcan and Cratos to slaughter the rest of the scum in this base. Even while on high alert because of my presence in the city the grunts scrambled in terror and panic as our assault commenced. I myself barely killed more than a handful of grunts as I was far more focused on ransacking the storage rooms and Sabrina's office. Most of what I found was standard trainer resources like potions, antidotes and other basic stuffs like that but there were some good things too.-
Rare ingredients that any alchemist would drool over and unsurprisingly a vast collection of pokemon parts to be used for various purposes. I mentally stopped myself from registering where these parts likely came from as there was no reason to spoil my loot's worth with sentimentality. Despite this attempt I sighed as disgust still ended up flickering across my mind as I looked at these parts. Still I stored the stuff away all the same as I wasn't one to waste anything, chef's habit honestly.-
When you reach master mastery in the cooking skill you gain this sort of understanding that all parts of an ingredient had uses unless straight up toxic in nature. Even in those cases pokemon removed that as an issue since poison type pokemon thrived on toxic substances. I myself had long since hit master mastery in cooking and was even pressing on transcendent as I whipped up meals out of inorganic materials for Gaia and the Garchomp based off the flavors they said the stuff had. Anyways I packed up everything I wanted including the small mountain of energy stones that were a key item in supplements if you were being lazy.-
As an added twist of irony and salt on the wound I used the bases copiers and printers to print out a physical copy of the files that I neatly set up to be found when the base was raided by the league. I then collected my pokemon, sent a message to the Jenny clan stationed right overhead with the location of the bases entrance along with some more hidden bases in the wilds nearby before busting down the door and warping space till i was high over the region.-
I released Rune, Tank and Cratos mid air before landing on runes back and sprawling out while letting him fly us to Fushia city. All that was left of rocket's executives was Koga and Giovanni so I allowed myself to slow down a little as we headed for Koga's domain.
