This of course meant that the Doduo had also been exposed since he was never far behind the little pixie. Yes the Doduo was a he as I had checked with the system shortly after I had gotten it. Despite me not taking an active role in training it and the little pixie both were getting stronger as my pokemon tossed them nuggets of knowledge and ways to grow stronger. I knew about it but didn't bother trying to stop it as I firmly believed that my pokemon should have the freedom to make their own choices and if they felt like helping the two newest pokemon in the group grow stronger so be it.-

It wasn't even intense training anyways just a few bits of knowledge they had from their own experiences being passed on. I had also given the little pixie the psychic plate by this point while the Doduo got the normal type plate since neither were currently in use. Time passed by with me waiting for some news on Rocket to act on but before it arrived a couple of guests did. The day had started as per normal with me waking up and cooking breakfast with the little pixie before practicing my writing skills and spearmanship. -

I left my aura sense fully active during the day so I felt it the moment two familiar aura signatures arrived at the edge of my property. 'Took them long enough.' I thought as I relaxed my muscles from my spear kata practice and set the weapon aside. I thought it amusing how those two ignored the unspoken rule of not trespassing on my property that the people around my property had and walked right in. I had never said they couldn't enter nor had I ever punished anyone for attempting to do so but my reputation was too intimidating for most to risk it.-

The wave of shock and fear that went through the crowd as Wes and Rui walked into my property without hesitation was amusing to see. I walked up the stone steps of my underground adobe and opened the stone door right as Wes went to knock. "Took you long enough, what kept you?" I asked with a smirk as I looked the two over. They had grown a bit more mature since I last saw them as Wes was a couple inches taller and not so thin anymore.-

Rui on the other hand had filled out in various ways and had a calmer disposition than before. She was wearing a dark set of blue traveling clothes while Wes had on his jacket from Orre that had been retailored to have a hood now that distinguished his outfit from what it used to be. "You've gotten bigger." he said after scrutinizing me for a moment. "You both have as well but do come in, best not to chat at the doorway after all." I said with a grin. -

I led the way to the common area of my home and motioned for them to take a seat on on of the chairs. "I've seen the reports but I'd rather hear what you've been up to from you both as well. Naturally I will also share a bit of what i've been up to as well." I said casually as I leaned back on the couch. "Not much beyond the reports to say. When we arrived in Hoenn Professor Birch helped us get our footing after grilling us on what you'd been doing in Orre. He looked like I was speaking some other language when I told him you were kicking back the whole time we were dealing with Cypher." he said giving me a funny look.-

"That's admittedly my fault, I was rather gung-ho about exterminating criminals when I was in Hoenn. I also didn't really do much relaxing if I'm being honest so it makes sense it threw him off a bit." I said with a chuckle while shrugging. "He did say something along those lines. We thought he was exaggerating at first but after looking into it ourselves it really looked like you were acting oddly in Orre." Rui piped up.-

"I was on vacation after dealing with three big criminal groups and even a whole godly drama. Naturally I wasn't going to be acting the same as I would otherwise." I said with a shrug. Wes nodded "We guessed as much from the information we were allowed to see. I still find it hard to believe you managed to not only humiliate the Joy clan but also get away with it afterwards." he said honestly. "Not all that hard to believe once you get all the facts behind that whole fiasco really."-

"If you really understand the matter it is obvious that they were the start middle and end of the whole debacle. It started when one of them tried to stick their nose where it wasn't wanted. Then it moved on to the Jenny clan trying and failing to intimidate me before that whole thing with the hag went down. If she hadn't effectively put a massive target on my back knowingly the Joy clan wouldn't have likely even been seen as having been in the wrong and I would have instead. That one move led to the series of events that followed resulting in the Joy clan being forced to swallow that bitter pill with a smile on their faces." I explained casually.-

"That does clarify things a lot. That doesn't explain why you all but ignored Cypher though. They wanted to take over the world after all and from the records we saw you don't let people like that live for long if you can help it." Wes said curiously. "Ah that's mostly because they were doomed to fail from the start. The thing they were banking on for their plan to work was flawed in the long term. Sure they might succeed temporarily in theory but over time the effect they were banking on would fade leaving them out to dry."-

"On top of that they didn't even have anyone at the level of a gym leader in the entire organization, much less a champion. The moment they tried that nonsense in league territory they'd get crushed like the bugs they were. I wouldn't need to lift a finger. It also helped that besides being a nuisance they weren't really even that bad in Orre, little more than thugs really." I said bluntly.
