They couldn't just let any random trainer having my property even if they were taking the Gym leader position. To the great surprise of many Oak actually explicitly forbid his own grandson from taking the position as well. This left the league scrambling to find a good trainer to take the position with at least some fame to their name. Personally I got why Oak made this choice as his name already held too much weight and if Gary Oak took that position and property it may cause the the Oak name to go even higher for no good reason.-

Funnily enough it was actually a member of the Joy clan, an oddball by all accounts to get the position. A rare member of the Joy clan that rather than become a healer as was standard for the clan instead chose to become a trainer. James Joy was a tall well built man who specialized in normal type pokemon. He wore his clans signature pink hair short and spikey with dyed white highlights. His outfit when I met him to transfer over the property to him was a sleeveless Zangoose fur vest with no shirt underneath it and loose leather pants and Seviper skin boots. -

"I assume there's a story behind your outfit?" I asked when I saw the get up. "Personal war I had to put an end to a couple years back after the two of them killed four people in the crossfire. I keep the skins to remind me that my clans views on things aren't perfect. Helps they are comfortable too." he said with a shrug. I nodded in approval at that "it's a rare treat to find someone not bound by their families beliefs. As promised the place is yours, though I feel i should point out that it is to be passed to the gym leader who comes after you rather than becoming the exclusive property of your clan." I said as I handed over the deed to the property.-

With that done I did a two finger salute and rejected my location while solidifying it again in Hoenn, specifically Littleroot town. As far as everyone watching was concerned however I had just vanished suddenly or showed up suddenly. I of course had brought along my pokemon as well in their balls. Breathing in the scent of the air here in Littleroot I couldn't help but smile as a sort of nostalgia came over me.-

"How are you here!?" Birch yelled in shock when he saw me. I chuckled "God stuff." I said smugly. "So you really did it, you actually became a god. Is it really vastly different than being a mortal? What about your biology? Can you really see everything?" he started bombarding me with questions eager to satisfy his scientific curiosity. "What, no how are you? how's it been? I'm offended!" I said jokingly. "Right right sorry, got ahead of myself there for a moment."-

"How have you been?" he said with an embarrassed expression. "Same as usual, took down a criminal organization, made awesome food, really just not bad all around. How about you?" I asked casually. "Well my research has been progressing well, May became an elite trainer, had to deal with Wes kicking up a storm when he got here and then you vanished for two whole years while your pokemon became globally listed as "do not touch" class existences. It's been eventful to say the least." he said with a shake of his head.-

"I figured as much. Not planning to stick around for long honestly, just came to say hi to you all, grab a treasure I left behind previously and then go back to Orre for what is bound to be a long ass time. You think a century is long enough for people to forget what I look like?" I said casually. "Yes yes, you're immortal and have all the time in the world. Rub it in why don't you?" he joked. "Is May here by the way? It'll save me the effort of hunting her down if she is." I asked and he nodded.-

"She was inside waiting to see the handoff of your property. Should be reaching here soon due to the delay between regions." he said and no sooner than he did there was a loud noise as May burst out of the house with an excited expression and her pokenav no doubt coming to tell her dad about my dramatic exit. The look on her face was priceless when she saw me standing next to her dad smirking at her. "What was that!?" she demanded eagerly as she quickly got over the suddenness of my appearance. -

"God stuff, let's me cross the planet near instantly. Handy little ability I gotta admit." I said with a chuckle. "Ugh, that's so unfair! The rest of us have to take the long ways everywhere. Also you could have said you were coming!" she complained. "And ruin the surprise? Never. How ya been May?" I asked with a smile. She quickly went over her experiences after I left and while there was some knowledge I already knew from the pokenet there were details left out that she filled in. I commented where necessary but otherwise that was pretty much it for that. I cooked Birch and his family dinner before making my way to Mt. gray to collect that Kyogre fang I had found so long ago.-

The wild animals and pokemon gave me a wide berth as I passed to no surprise as I literally radiated power. I found my cave and ran my hands over the marks left behind from my time here briefly before climbing the mountains side till i found the place that had the cave system. With a wave of my hand the stone parted and I walked inside. Soon enough I reached the glowing chamber with the fang. Working my power I warped space around the tooth so I could fit the thing in my bag. -

Fang secured I left Mt. gray and sought out the Stones, with fair warning before hand this time. I was greeted at the entrance to the Devon corporation warmly by Steven, his father and Brendan surprisingly. "Two of you I expected but the other I did not. Did one of these two tell you I was coming?" I asked and he nodded. "Almost didn't make it in time, had to fly here from Lilycove." he said honestly.
