A Saiyan's Journey
Chapter 426: Hayasaka Would Nod in Approval
".........Why are you tagging along?"
Standing in front of an apartment door in City M, Zuke gave Tatsumaki a puzzled look as she floated beside him.
This was King's residence—and as a fellow S-Class hero, Tatsumaki naturally knew his address. The Hero Association had it on file, at least for emergencies when they needed to locate him.
After confirming that the Hero Association's higher-ups wouldn't be available until tomorrow, Zuke had decided to ask King for Saitama's address and inquired about it from Tatsumaki.
Now here he was, only to find that Tatsumaki had silently followed him the entire way.
At first, Zuke assumed she just happened to be heading in the same direction.
But when she floated all the way to King's doorstep without a word, he realized she was intentionally sticking with him.
"Where I go is none of your business!"
Tatsumaki's tone was as haughty as ever—her personality had always been condescending.
But when Zuke shot her a warning glance, her voice immediately softened. Her still-throbbing backside was a vivid reminder not to provoke him:
"You can't just do that to me and walk away like nothing happened!"
"Don't phrase it like we did something indecent. All I did was spank you a few times."
Zuke stared at her blankly. Though he knew Tatsumaki was actually 28, her petite figure combined with those words could easily lead to… misinterpretations.
In a way, her status as a "legal loli" probably catered to some people's darker fantasies.
Just as Zuke was about to retort, the apartment door suddenly creaked open—but only a sliver.
Through the gap, a single eye marked by three scars peered out at them, followed by a deep, cautious voice:
"Um......... Can I help you two? Your arguing was, uh… pretty loud. I could hear it inside."
The man behind the door was King—a towering, rugged-looking figure who was, in reality, just a timid gamer otaku.
He didn't recognize Zuke, but Tatsumaki was unmistakable. The sight of an S-Class hero at his doorstep made him too nervous to open the door fully.
After all, she was the real deal—unlike him, whose S-Class rank was built entirely on misunderstandings and sheer luck.
Still, despite his fear, King couldn't help but be curious. This was the first he'd heard of Tatsumaki being so… close with a man. And she got spanked?
Do couples these days play that rough? So the almighty Tatsumaki, who looks down on everyone, is actually into submission with her boyfriend?
Unaware of King's assumptions, Tatsumaki regained her usual haughty demeanor upon spotting his scarred eye:
"King, this guy has business with you. I'm just the guide—but be careful. He's strong. Even you probably can't handle him."
Like most, Tatsumaki had fallen for the myths surrounding King's power. While confident in her own abilities, the rumors about him were so absurd that she genuinely believed he might be near her level.
But even if he was, it wouldn't matter. Zuke's strength was beyond comprehension—no way King stood a chance.
"King, I'm here to ask for Saitama's address. I need to talk to him."
Zuke ignored Tatsumaki's dramatics. King was just a comic relief character with no real powers, so he wasn't particularly interested in him.
His real target was Saitama—the protagonist of this world, the man who had broken his limiter and could grow infinitely stronger.
If the remake version's feats were anything to go by, Saitama's potential for exponential mid-battle growth was insane.
That was an ability Zuke had to acquire. Imagine Saitama's broken limiter combined with a Saiyan's combat ceiling—the boost would be absurd.
Aside from "God," this was probably the only ability in this world worth taking.
Of course, Zuke had no intention of killing Saitama. "Black Bird: Requiem" only needed to consume a part of his body to copy his powers.
Besides, he might revisit this One Punch Man world later. Leaving Saitama alive was like leaving a failsafe—so the place wouldn't be wiped out by some cosmic fear before his next visit.
"Y-You're looking for… Saitama?"
King was stunned. This was the first time someone had actively sought out Saitama.
He and Saitama had met long before Garou's "Hero Hunt" made headlines, meaning they'd known each other for a while—and likely exchanged addresses.
"Alright… Saitama's place is at..."
---
Later, after leaving King's apartment...
"So you bothered King just to get a B-Class hero's address?"
Tatsumaki floated beside Zuke, visibly unimpressed.
"I thought you were gonna do the same thing to him that you did to me."
Clearly, she wasn't happy about being the only one who'd suffered and wanted to drag others down with her.
If King had gotten spanked too, she'd probably have felt a lot better.
But the moment those words left her mouth—
SMACK!
Zuke's hand landed squarely on her backside, drawing a sharp yelp from Tatsumaki. She shuddered, her telekinetic grip faltering for a split second—almost sending her tumbling out of the air.
Thankfully, no one was around to witness her undignified flailing.
"You—!"
Gritting her teeth, Tatsumaki barely stabilized herself mid-air, her face burning as much as her stinging rear.
But strangely, once the initial pain faded… a weird, tingling sensation lingered.
A disturbing thought crossed her mind—Did I just develop some kind of… kink?
If Hayasaka were here, she'd probably give Tatsumaki a knowing nod.
"If you're gonna follow me, shut up and watch."
Zuke shot her an exasperated glare, hoping that last smack would keep her quiet for a while.
