A second chance with my billionaire husband

CHAPTER 28: 025 LOOK AT WITH NEW EYES
With so many guests still waiting downstairs, Zhuang Xiyue applied a band-aid to Yun Ya and instructed the nanny to watch over the two before leaving.
Yan Ke pulled Yun Ya to his room, "I have lots of toys, pretty sister, let’s play together."
Yun Ya looked at the distinct blue and white styled room, startled.
Yan Ke ran straight to the blue area, picked up a toy from the ground, and offered it to Yun Ya, "Pretty sister, these are all for you to play with."
Yun Ya pointed to the white part, which looked incredibly clean compared to the blue area.
"That is...?"
Yan Ke puckered his lips, "That’s my brother’s territory. He never lets me step in, otherwise he hits me. My brother is really vicious."
Yun Ya’s instinctive feeling was that Yan Song was someone with severe OCD and was also seriously obsessive-compulsive.
Uh, she had noticed it in her past life, but she didn’t expect it to be so severe even in his childhood.
Yan Song walked in from outside, glanced at the two of them, and went straight to his own territory to start reading a book.
Yun Ya played with Yan Ke, and because of Miaomiao, she was very patient with children. She often made Yan Ke laugh out loud, and the two quickly grew closer. With every call of "sister," he seemed to really take Yun Ya for his own big sister.
Yan Song rolled his eyes, brown-noser, laughing so happily, don’t grin too wide and split your mouth.
Their laughter occasionally reached Yan Song, who tossed his book on the bed and walked over to them. He kicked the nearly finished lego structure apart, scattering it all over the floor with a crash.
Play, I’ll let you play. If this young master isn’t happy, then no one gets to be happy.
Yan Ke was stunned for a moment, then burst into loud cries, "Brother, you owe me for my house, wuu, it wasn’t easy for sister and me to build it, you owe me..." Yan Ke’s crying was the kind that made it hard to catch his breath, sending shivers down the spine of an onlooker.
Yan Song smirked with a snide smile, "So what if I kicked it? If you have the guts, hit me."
Yun Ya comforted Yan Ke while frowning at Yan Song.
Is this how he always bullied his brother at home? No wonder there were rumors of discord between the brothers in the past life. With that attitude, Yan Song didn’t resemble a big brother at all.
"Don’t cry, don’t cry, how about sister helps you build it again?" Yun Ya soothed gently.
Yan Ke threw himself into Yun Ya’s arms, smearing tears all over her clothes, "Wuu... Sister, you are the best, it would be great if you were my real sister..."
Yan Song’s face darkened with anger. Annoying kid, where are you squeezing in?
"How about I become your real sister from now on? Stop crying, let’s rebuild the house together."
Yan Ke wiped his tears and was about to start building with Yun Ya again.
Yan Song kicked the legos out of the way and, before Yun Ya could react, huffed and walked away.
Even someone as easy-going as Yun Ya couldn’t help but want to hit him.
Really, what a detestable person.
Yan Ke "wah" started crying again.
Hearing Yun Ya gently comforting Yan Ke, Yan Song felt an urge to kill someone out of irritation. Annoying kid, what are you crying for? You think you’re the only one who can cry?
"Wah", followed by a heaven-and-earth shaking, spirit-sobbing cry. Yun Ya turned around, her face turning dark.
The one who had been acting high and mighty just now was crying his eyes out. What was this tantrum about? Was it a guilty conscience from bullying his brother?
Yun Ya immediately denied this point himself.
True to the saying about brothers, one is more of a crybaby than the other, crying in exactly the same way.
Lucky for her, the nanny called out for her from outside the door, and Yun Ya hastily withdrew.
In this world, there’s no child as well-behaved and adorable as Miaomiao, she thought; she definitely needed to keep her distance from these two brothers in the future.
Once Yun Ya left, Yan Song immediately stopped crying, the speed of his change in demeanor was astonishing.
He walked up to Yan Ke with his chin raised high, "Stay away from Ji Yunya in the future, understood?"
Yan Ke, still whimpering, replied, "I like the pretty sister, I want to play with her."
Yan Song snorted coldly and shook his fist at him, scaring Yan Ke into hurriedly clutching his head.
"Look at how cowardly you are, what right do you have to play with her? If I see you bothering her again, I’m going to beat you up," Yan Song threatened fiercely.
Yan Ke didn’t know what got into him, but he suddenly sprang up, defiantly shouting, "I won’t, I just like the pretty sister and want to play with her, what right do you have to control me?"
Yan Song was taken aback then suddenly flew into a rage, "You’ve grown some guts, huh? Daring to go against me?"
The two brothers immediately scuffled, and Yan Ke, not knowing where he found the strength, managed to leave marks on the usually tough Yan Song’s face.
This was the first time the two brothers fought over Yun Ya.
Yun Ya said goodbye to Zhuang Xiyue, then walked over to Kang Jinse who was waiting nearby, and together they left the villa.
There was some distance from the villa to the main gate, and Yun Ya heard Kang Jinse’s voice, cold as water.
"Ji Yunya, you really impressed me today, it seems I should really believe you’re a prodigy," she said.
Yun Ya walked quietly by her side.
"But don’t forget, no matter how smart you are, you’re still just a child. I have countless ways to torment you, would you like to try?" she asked, glancing sideways at the little girl who lagged a step behind her, her eyes as sharp as ice.
Yun Ya looked up, an innocent, sweet smile on her face; however, in her eyes flickered a malicious, mocking light. Under the cold moonlight, she seemed to be a blend of an angel and a devil, beautiful yet dark.
Kang Jinse stared, slightly taken aback.
The corners of Yun Ya’s lips lifted slightly, "I’m looking forward to it."
Kang Jinse looked at Yun Ya with eyes as if she had seen a ghost. She thought the child was only smarter than her peers, and after pondering over tonight’s events for a long time, the most probable explanation seemed to be coincidence. After all, she struggled to believe that a five-year-old child could have such scheming; it was more than her heart could bear to doubt.
However, in that moment, facing the tiny figure before her, she suddenly felt a chill run up from the soles of her feet, quickly overtaking her entire body.
What kind of monstrous daughter had Ji Lanyi borne...
Yun Shen was waiting in the car for the two of them, and once they were seated, the driver started the car and drove away.
Kang Jinse glanced at Yun Shen’s face, squeezed the palm of her hand, opened her mouth to speak, but then closed it again.
Yun Ya bowed her head in silence.
The ride home was quiet.
As soon as they entered the living room, before Kang Jinse could say a word, Yun Shen suddenly turned around and fiercely slapped her across the face.
