Two whole days have passed since the party and Maybelline had yet to find her child. It’s almost like Ariana didn’t exist, or the party. It’s almost like she never had a child.

Now staring at her daughter’s photo album, Maybelline cried. She had also discovered that Ariana wasn’t the only one missing at the party. But a few other young girls, mostly Ariana’s friends were missing.

The police couldn’t track any weird activity that night, there was no trace of sign of kidnap and for some reason, no one dare search the Adkins family house.

According to the lawyers, their master said there was no one in his home and that was the end.

Maybelline felt frustrated. Though it had only been a few days, she felt like it was an eternity.

"You’re not eating?" David asked from behind and May broke down in tears. She’s never been this hurt before. She never believed one day someone would dare hurt her child.

She could only imagine the pain Ariana was going through. Her poor baby.

"Any news?" Maybelline asked but David didn’t respond immediately. He was silent for a second then he said, "The police have not been able to trace them. They said right now we have to wait for the kidnappers to call and ask for ransom." May turned to look at her husband.

"How long will it take David? Ariana is dying out there. We don’t know what they’ve done to her already. The torture they’ve put her through." May cried.

"That’s enough." David hugged his wife. "The other parents are here too, we have to discuss on other ways. Maybe hire more people that are not a part of the law to find them." Maybelline nodded.

She wiped her tears, wore a shade, and left the room with her husband.

When both people arrived in the lounge, May was greeted by a few people. Some were close acquaintances and others were people she knew from afar.

But she frowned when she saw three familiar faces. The faces she didn’t want to see.

"What are you doing here?" May barked at the Peterson’s and Abby smiled.

"What do you mean what we’re doing here?" Christian asked in disgust. Was he not meant to be here even though it’s his wife they were all here to discuss about?

"Maybelline, Ariana is my daughter in law too. I have every right to be here." Abby said calmly with a smile.

"You’re not needed here. I can handle my daughter myself. At this point, I don’t even know if you’re the one that had her kidnapped as your payback." Maybelline yelled.

"Stop laying baseless accusations Aunt May. My mother has taken good care of Ariana for months now. Why would she try to kill her?" Chris spoke up for his mother.

"The prodigal son now defending the mother. What could be more diabolical?"

"Weren’t you the one that said a few days ago she wasn’t your mother?" May asked. David tried to stop his wife from speaking but she wouldn’t listen. May was hurt, she would do anything to find her child.

"Are we now going to speak about the past Aunt May, because you have quite a few numbers I’d love to speak about." Gregory tapped his son but Chris was already so angry.

How dare this woman try to humiliate them?

A woman who once respected and loved him. He couldn’t believe everything she did was fake.

"Nothing I have done, will be as far as what you ungrateful people have done. Just you wait, once my Ariana comes back, she’ll divorce you." May yelled and David dragged her out of the building.

Abby said nothing but smile at her dear ex friends words. Maybelline really has no idea what’s coming for her.

After a few scoldings from David, the couple stepped back into the room where the other families sat.

"I’m sorry for the little altercations. My wife is just so angry about our missing daughter." David said calmly and the others nodded. They all understood. May was speaking from a hurt mother who just lost her child.

"People need to learn to be composed and not speak anyhow just because they are hurt. We’re all hurting here don’t forget that. Ariana is like a daughter to me." Abby said out.

"We should be more focused on how to find our children rather than fighting now. I’m sorry Mrs Peterson if my wife have offended you with her words." David turned to the rest and continued his conversation.

"I have a man. Someone willing to find the girls. He’s found several girls in the past. He’s efficient, since the law cannot do anything, it is time we take matter’s into our own hands." The prince of Epidermis, Roselyn’s father said.

"He’s right." Another person said. "The longer our children stay there, the more dangerous it is for them." She added.

"I don’t care how it happens. I just want my Alicia back, she’s my only child." Mrs Jones, Alicia’s mother cried out. Alicia is the Jones family only heir, nothing can happen to her.

"What are the Adkins lawyers saying? Didn’t our kids get missing in their estate?" Gutter asked. He was Darla’s father, a prominent figure in the society too.

The room was filled with billionaire’s and royalties. It was filled with power.

Osvaldo Adkins had messed with the children from Prominent families without blinking.

"They said they had made sure everyone leaves that day and that there’s no one left in their mansion." David Willard said.

"Acn we not confirm ourselves? How do we know that master of theirs haven’t hurt our children?"

"No one can get into the Adkins estate." Maybelline said calmly.

"The master isn’t the one who makes the decisions, it’s his wife or his lawyers." Abby said calmly.

"He has a wife" everyone in the room turned to look at her with wide eyes.

"I’m afraid that all I can say. I signed a contract with them in exchange for my life." She stated. She had just turned everyone curious, only to make them return to the beginning again.

They all frowned at her.

While they were still conversing, the butler of the mansion stepped inside the room immediately with a bow. He walked up to his master.

"Master, you have a package." He stretched his black envelope before his master.
