"What do you mean?" Lily Grant asked warily.

Since she knew that people outside couldn’t see what was happening inside, she naturally didn’t need to keep up the act.

Chloe Grant was about to speak when the phone on the coffee table rang.

Chloe turned back and realized that it was Matthew Morgan’s phone.

And the reason it rang was not because of a call or message, but because the alarm went off.

Chloe subconsciously looked at the floor-to-ceiling window behind her and noticed that the three people in the garden’s pavilion were no longer there.

Chloe remembered the time Matthew mentioned when he left.

She quickly stood up, at the same time helping Lily to get up.

"You think you can just hit me and let it go this time?" Lily didn’t get up. "Last time you hit me, my hand was broken. Because of my injury, Lady Morgan felt guilty and let me stay at the Morgan family, so I didn’t pursue it with you!"

"Now, do you think it will be that easy to get away with it?

Chloe Grant, you’re finished! I will definitely expose you in front of Lady Morgan and show them what kind of person you truly are!"

As Lily spoke, she grabbed Chloe’s hand and pressed it to where Chloe had bitten her earlier.

Lily gasped from the pain, and the wound, which had already dried, started to ooze red blood again.

Chloe didn’t stop her and watched Lily endure the pain, her forehead covered in cold sweat, yet still smiling proudly.

"I’m just getting my phone." He said briefly as he walked past Chloe.

He bent over and picked up the phone on the coffee table.

Lily looked at Matthew, her whole self excited, watching eagerly as Matthew turned around...

Lily barely spoke when Matthew had already stepped away.

The entire process seemed as if Matthew didn’t even consider Lily’s presence.

As he reached the door, Matthew suddenly turned back and said, "Chloe, go upstairs and call your parents. Father has already reserved a place at the Royal Hotel."

It took several seconds after Matthew finished speaking for Chloe to react and then go upstairs.

Lily sat on the sofa, feeling a bit at a loss watching Chloe leave.

Just then, Lucas came in, "Lily, I’ll take you home now."

"Lucas, just now Chloe..." As soon as Lily saw him, she was ready to complain.

"Chloe has a bad temper, don’t mind her. I’ll take you home first. We’ll talk in a couple of days."

Lucas didn’t give Lily a chance to speak, helping her up from the sofa and taking her away.

The car was already prepared at the door.
