CHAPTER 310: CHAPTER 310: REJECTING HIM NO MATTER WHEN

Ralph Koch arrived at the hospital room when Chloe Grant had already woken up.

What Ralph saw was Chloe Grant holding Matthew Morgan’s hand tightly, gazing at him like an infatuated fan, utterly captivated.

Ralph Koch’s mouth twitched, "Has she transformed again?"

Matthew Morgan turned his head and gave a cold glance.

Ralph Koch raised his hand to signal silence, then leisurely went over to the sofa, picked up a stewed egg from the coffee table, and started munching.

Ever since Chloe Grant was hospitalized, the coffee table was always filled with various snacks, but only one person was eating them—Ralph Koch!

He finished one stewed egg in a bite and picked up a second one.

He looked up, seeing Chloe Grant still holding Matthew Morgan’s hand like an infatuated fan, her gaze, in Ralph’s words, seemed as if she wanted to devour Matthew Morgan.

"Hey, little fangirl, at least be aware there’s a third person in this room!" Ralph Koch shouted dissatisfiedly, then angrily took a bite out of the stewed egg in his hand.

While eating, he glared at Chloe Grant as if she were the stewed egg in his mouth, and he wanted to bite down hard!

It took Chloe Grant a good while to look towards him.

Her previously fangirling gaze instantly changed...

At first, it was just displeasure, but as her eyes met Ralph Koch’s reddish-brown irises, her brows furrowed, eyes filled with suspicion...

Those eyes...

"Have I seen you somewhere before?" she asked warily.

The casual demeanor Ralph Koch had instantly jerked up, staring at Chloe Grant in astonishment.

Is this girl regaining her memory?

"I’ve been hanging around here every day lately. Isn’t it normal for you to feel familiar?" Ralph Koch spoke first.

His voice was loud, probably out of guilt.

Matthew Morgan turned around, his cold eyes sweeping over, "If you’re going to talk, do it properly. Why the loud voice?"

"Exactly!" Chloe Grant echoed from the side, "Your posture is practically like a rocket going up!"

Ralph Koch’s eyes widened!

Chloe Grant quickly hid behind Matthew Morgan, but within a second, she peeked her head out again, tossing a remark, "Rocket!"

"Who are you calling a monkey!"

As a respected figure, how could he tolerate being spoken to like this?

"You Transformer, changing every day." He stepped out, pointing to the spot in front of him, "Come out now and clarify your words! Let’s settle this one on one!"

It infuriated him to no end.

"Rocket, you can just fly up by yourself. I won’t bother with you." Chloe Grant retorted defiantly.

But once she finished, she cowardly hid behind Matthew Morgan again.

This exasperated Ralph Koch to no end.

He’s known from the start that this person is his nemesis!

"You fatso!" Ralph Koch, furious, directly insulted.

Chloe Grant was unhappy upon hearing it, "Did he call me fat? Where am I fat! Why are you calling me fat! On what grounds!"

She was so angry she was about to jump out of bed.

"Let me." Matthew Morgan pressed her shoulders to calm her, then walked over to stand at the spot Ralph was pointing at, "Hmm?"

Ralph Koch was initially full of momentum, but seeing Matthew Morgan stand up, he instantly cowered.

He retreated silently, offering an awkward yet insincere smile...

"Matthew, I’m here now to discuss something important with you and to seek your advice."

"Speak."

Ralph Koch glanced at Chloe Grant, then back to Matthew Morgan.

His gaze clearly conveyed: this is about Chloe Grant, but it’s inconvenient for her to hear.
