Addicted After Marriage: Marrying My Abstinent Boss
Chapter 148: He Has Plenty of Ways
CHAPTER 148: CHAPTER 148: HE HAS PLENTY OF WAYS
Charles Sinclair’s voice wasn’t loud, but everyone in the backyard heard him.
Hugh Irving was so frightened he pushed Ethan Sinclair away while panting heavily.
Ethan lowered his head against her forehead, his large hand withdrawing from her waist.
"If you dare to move again, I’ll go home tonight!" Hugh gritted his teeth.
Ethan chuckled softly, seeming to imply he’d stay tonight.
"Alright, alright, I’ll stay still. How about I teach you horse riding?" He held Hugh’s hand.
Hugh glared at him, shook off his hand, and hurriedly buttoned up her clothes.
The two of them walked out one after another.
At this moment, the Horse Trainer riding a tawny steed came down the path, asking if anyone wanted to go horse riding now.
"Go have some fun first. This roast lamb probably won’t be ready until tonight." Charles tossed the lamb by the faucet, rolled up his sleeves, and signaled to Zane Sterling and the others.
"Mr. Sinclair, let me help you!"
Shane Graham sauntered over, took off his jacket, and tossed it to an assistant nearby.
Charles frowned, "No need for Mr. Graham to handle this. We can have someone else take care of it later."
Just as he finished speaking, two sturdy young men came over with tools.
Beau Morgan gave an indistinct smile.
This attentiveness seemed a bit too ostentatious.
She naturally knew why Shane suddenly got involved in the investment project, but she hadn’t expected they’d manage to enlist Charles.
It was only last night she found out Ethan was Charles’s son, Ethan was a wealthy heir.
Truly a prince experiencing life among commoners.
Zane patted Charles’s shoulder, "Old Shane’s from the Northeast, he’s familiar with this. Why not try Northeast flavors?"
Charles’s eyes brightened, "That sounds great, it’d be good for my chef to learn as well!"
After exchanging a few pleasantries, Zane and Charles followed the Horse Trainer toward the horse arena in the back.
Ethan and Hugh happened to come out and meet up with them.
Ethan went along with Zane, and Hugh walked up to Sophia Lowell.
"Did Manager Morgan bring clothes over? Want to go horse riding together?" Sophia smiled.
Beau Morgan smiled awkwardly, "No, my legs aren’t great, you all have fun."
It was then Beau realized that inviting people to the horse arena wasn’t just for fun.
Beau couldn’t ride horses; Shane took on Charles’s task, giving Zane the chance to discuss matters alone with Charles, go horseback riding, and effectively avoid Beau, completely excluding her.
She gave a bitter smile.
She had woven a large web, only to trap herself in it.
"Alright then." Sophia didn’t say anything more.
Hugh approached Sophia, pulling her along, "When did you get here?"
Sophia noticed the faint kiss mark on her collarbone, smiled discreetly, and whispered, "While you were choosing a horse."
Hugh hurriedly tugged her to follow behind Zane and the others, "You saw everything?"
"Just found out." She smiled.
Hugh’s face was flushed.
These two seem like a burning fire, probably haven’t been together long.
Ethan, despite being so young, was surprisingly experienced in romance.
"You have to keep this a secret, we haven’t decided yet." Hugh pursed her lips.
"Isn’t Ethan good enough? Though he’s a bit younger by a year or two, he’s quite impressive in every aspect. Just look at that physique." Sophia couldn’t help but boast.
When Ethan first joined Zane, his physical condition couldn’t keep up, and he was taken to the gym for a long period. The skinny rich boy worked out a nice body, combined with his looks and height, Ethan had excellent conditions.
Hugh knew Ethan had a good physique, but she didn’t want to marry, wasn’t too keen on romance either. Right now, their relationship was at most companionable during lonely times.
Ethan was aware of Hugh’s thoughts but didn’t mind.
Sophia knew her concerns, but Ethan wasn’t Zane; Ethan had his ways to make Hugh like him.
"Anyway, don’t worry about it." Hugh pursed her lips.
Sophia didn’t try to persuade her further.
When they arrived at the arena, Zane and Charles were already on horseback.
Sophia naturally knew how to ride. She came here every year to play for a while. Charles treated her like a daughter-in-law but unexpectedly they became buddies instead.
"I won’t wait for you, learn well." Sophia looked at Ethan who was waiting nearby, showing a knowing smile.
Sophia took the reins from the trainer and swiftly mounted her horse, leaving that place.
"Go away!" Hugh couldn’t be bothered with her.
Hugh couldn’t ride, but Ethan had already picked out a horse for her.
"Are you ready, Professor Irving?" Ethan grinned.
"That smile would get you dunked in a pig cage in old times."
"I’m afraid you’d miss me." Ethan walked up to her with the reins in hand, "Come on, dear."
Ethan briefly taught her to mount and explained single reins and double reins, then demonstrated.
He dismounted, letting Hugh try.
Hugh was quite a quick learner, she got on the horse and grabbed the reins skillfully.
"After you’re on the horse, press with the inside of your thighs, not your calves, or it’ll feel uncomfortable." Ethan said in a low voice, patting her thigh.
Hugh felt awkward hearing it, her gaze fell on him, and her thighs burned.
"Can’t do it?" Ethan chuckled, "Just like that night, but not too tight..."
"..." Hugh’s face turned red.
They only spent time together at night when the lights were off; they talked about anything but never stayed the night. After they were done, she would kick him out. They had never been so instructive like now during the day.
Hugh swallowed hard.
Ethan adjusted her foot, "Push with a third of the foot, when moving, kick the horse’s belly with your heel."
Hugh understood but dared not move.
"Need a lead?" Ethan raised his eyes, asking.
"Just a little lead..." Hugh was too scared to move by herself.
Ethan smiled, loosened her foot, stepped on his own, and mounted.
"Hey, ride separately!" Hugh shrank back.
Ethan chuckled, ignoring her anger.
"Relax, hold the handle." Ethan’s breath cascaded down on the frame of her ear, his hoarse voice like a beguiling poison, "Don’t move, if you move, he’ll move too..."
The scorching breath quickly turned her earlobes red.
Hugh bit her lips, obediently, but uneasily.
Behind her, the man felt taut; she wondered if he was doing it on purpose or if that’s just how it was, he adhered closely to her back.
"Later I’ll teach you how to control the reins; you better learn well, if not, I’ll have to teach you again tonight, and that’s tiring for me." Ethan said.
Hugh swallowed again; she hadn’t started riding, but sweat already formed on her body.
"Ethan, have you taught anyone else to ride like this?" she asked.
"Others aren’t as dim-witted as you; no need for my teachings." Ethan smiled, "Giddy up..."
The horse began to trot.
"Heh..." Hugh giggled lightly.
"How is it? Pretty easy, right?" Ethan rested his chin on her shoulder.
"Let go!" Hugh turned to look at him.
"Alright alright!" Ethan surveyed the area, steering the horse onto the forest path.
"Why are we here when they’re over there!" She elbowed Ethan’s waist.
"Whoa!"
He winced in pain, hunching over and clutching his waist.
He let out another chuckle, "Don’t worry, I won’t do anything to you. There were too many people earlier, too embarrassed to teach you."
Hugh felt he had ill intentions.
Ethan sat up, his hand patting her rear.
"Bounce and rise are vital too; once you grasp these, riding won’t be tiring." Ethan held the reins with one hand, the other arm wrapped around her waist.
Hugh didn’t quite understand; she hadn’t done this before.
Ethan whispered to her in the most straightforward way, "Bounce is you on top, me below; rise is me on top, you below. You’re familiar with these, right?"
Hugh blushed furiously, her grip on the handle tightened.
"I’ll show you later, if you don’t get it, don’t be mad if I ask you to review tonight..." Ethan smirked.
