After Betrayal: Lightning Marriage to Mr. Enigmatic
Chapter 109: Mr. Hunter’s Gentleness
CHAPTER 109: CHAPTER 109: MR. HUNTER’S GENTLENESS
At first, his kiss was gentle and soft, but it quickly became more intense, as if he could no longer control his desire and emotions, growing more and more fierce.
Isabella Weaver couldn’t withstand such a storm; her mind went blank, her mouth filled with his cold breath, completely overwhelmed and enveloped by him.
It seemed as if he kissed her for an eternity before he reluctantly stopped, still holding her tightly in his arms.
Isabella opened her eyes and saw the tender affection that had yet to fade from his gaze.
Harry Hunter spoke softly, "Did you like it?"
Isabella blushed and shook her head.
Harry planted another kiss, his voice unbearably gentle, "You little liar."
"From now on, you’re not allowed to trust other men, only me."
How domineering...
Isabella said in her heart but could only nod.
If she didn’t nod, who knows what uncontrollable things might happen later.
Harry was finally satisfied, saying casually, "Actually, your cousin wasn’t wrong, I was the one behind Christopher Weaver’s situation."
Isabella suddenly widened her eyes, what was he saying?!
It was him?
And when she said it was him, he got so angry?
And forbade her from trusting Alexander Parker?
Isabella was furious and gave him a hard punch, but that wasn’t enough, so she kicked and bit him: "You bastard! You won’t admit it! You bully me! And you have the nerve to get angry!"
Harry let her vent, laughing lightly.
He just didn’t want her to trust that cousin of hers so much!
After Isabella finished venting, she glared at him angrily.
Harry finally laughed out loud, "What, trying to kill your husband with a look?"
Isabella gritted her teeth in silence, remembering that intense kiss just now, which annoyed her.
She felt she had wronged him and was guilty, which made her comply so easily without any thought of resistance.
This man is so wicked!
Harry pinched her chin, "Stop glaring at me, even if you kill me, I guarantee you won’t marry your cousin."
Isabella got even angrier, "Who wants to marry him? I married you because I was escaping an arranged marriage!"
Harry’s smile widened, "So speaking of it, I must thank your cousin."
Isabella gritted her teeth, saying, "You should thank him. He’s taking the blame for you at the police station now!"
Harry’s smile disappeared instantly, "You feel sorry for him? Huh?"
Isabella wanted to hold her forehead; what’s with this guy, why does he get angry whenever Alexander Parker is mentioned?
Did her words sound like she was feeling sorry for Alexander? Wasn’t she just pointing out that he was the real culprit?
"Mr. Hunter, did you not learn language well?"
"No, I learned it very well."
Harry turned sideways, wrapping Isabella in his embrace, speaking softly, "Don’t doubt your husband’s intelligence."
Isabella didn’t plan to discuss intelligence with him; she’d definitely lose, being crushed by Alexander wasn’t enough, another brilliant one comes along, she’d start doubting if she was an idiot.
"Where did you take Christopher Weaver and his wife?"
"They’re not dead, don’t worry."
"Then let them go quickly, it’ll be trouble if the police trace it back to you!"
Isabella truly was a little anxious; Christopher wasn’t an ordinary person, he didn’t care much for her as a daughter, but he had a good reputation outside, and his disappearance had already attracted a lot of social attention.
Harry noticed her emotions, his fingers brushing over her delicate fair cheek, softly asking, "Worried about me?"
