"I’m talking to my daughter, is it your place to interrupt? Get lost!"

Christopher Weaver tried to assert his authority, but Connor sneered and forcefully pushed him aside.

Christopher staggered and fell to the ground, unable to get up for quite some time.

He was in pain and furious!

"Why don’t you charge Alexander Parker! He planned all of this, and only he knows where your mom is! He’s the real culprit!"

"No, the real culprits are you! If you hadn’t drugged him, would he have lost control? His emotions are several times more violent than before; he sees people and wants to kill! Didn’t you turn him into this?"

Rose Parker’s face changed dramatically. She was about to denounce Isabella Weaver, but suddenly turned to Christopher Weaver: "Christopher, did you drug Alexander?"

"Just a little bit, isn’t he fine?"

"What do you mean fine! I told you he’s been especially unstable lately! With his condition, how can you misuse drugs? Don’t you know he always had severe suicidal tendencies? Misusing drugs could make him lose control, even end his own life!"

Talking about Alexander Parker made Rose Parker react intensely. She was beyond caring about her image; she went and grabbed Christopher Weaver’s clothes: "My brother had only him as a child, doing everything possible to keep him alive, and you were sending him to his death? Are you hoping he’d kill more people? So he’d be caught and executed, and you’d be happy!"

"He shouldn’t be alive in the first place! Just a lunatic, having him around brings nothing but chaos to the Parker Family!"

"You received full support from my brother to strengthen your company, and now you want to wipe us out? Christopher Weaver, you’re truly vicious!"

The two began to argue, pulling and hitting each other, and the servants didn’t dare step in to break them up.

Isabella Weaver watched them fight fiercely and turned to Connor, saying, "Let’s go, these two will be at it for a while. Let’s interrogate Ella Weaver again."

She still hadn’t found Shiely Morrison, and felt terribly upset.

Without proper medical care, Shiely Morrison’s condition wouldn’t last for long.

Isabella Weaver returned to the basement, repeatedly questioning Ella Weaver, but she insisted that she didn’t know where Shiely Morrison was.

Isabella Weaver tiredly left the basement, feeling that Ella Weaver probably wasn’t lying.

Alexander Parker always thought she was too stupid, believing she only ever messed things up, not telling her was just normal.

She then questioned Zoe Lewis, who also knew nothing, but she very eagerly offered to ask Cherry Lewis.

It wasn’t until night fell completely that Isabella Weaver returned to the hospital.

She walked along the corridor outside the VIP ward and heard Johan Niles shouting in one of the rooms: "You damn Parker, you’re finally in my hands! Get up! What’s this pretending to be dead business? I’ll break your wrist! Break your spine! I’ll break your legs too! Break them all!"

Isabella Weaver was startled into focus and quickly pushed the door open and went inside.

She was about to call for Alexander Parker, to ask where he had hidden Shiely Morrison, and when she took a good look, Alexander Parker lay there motionless, wrapped in bandages, with splints on his body and legs, silent like a mummy.

"Is he unconscious too? When did he arrive? Has he not woken up at all?"

"Sis-in-law, you’re here! Do you think he’s pretending? With that half-dead look, I don’t even feel satisfied punishing him!"

Isabella Weaver was both amused and annoyed; he really was a character. How could this be an act!

And given Alexander Parker’s personality, if he had even one bit of consciousness, he’d jump up and fight back when provoked like this.
