CHAPTER 607: CHAPTER 607: THE RAGE OF THE WIFE-DOTING MANIAC

Isabella Weaver saw Harry Hunter walking down from the helicopter amidst the huge gusts of wind, against the blazing sun, treading under the green shade, with a cold demeanor as he walked towards her.

All the strength she was holding onto suddenly relaxed, causing Rose Parker, who she had been clutching, to lose support and lie down on the ground.

Isabella Weaver’s fearful tears finally dared to fall, and her whole body softened, almost collapsing onto the ground.

Harry Hunter swiftly stepped forward, picked her up, turned around, and carried her to the helicopter.

Connor and David had already dealt with the people outside, Ella Weaver was knocked unconscious, tied up along with Rose Parker, and bound to the tree.

The helicopter took off again, with Harry Hunter holding Isabella Weaver tightly in his arms, constantly comforting her: "Isabella, it’s okay now, I’m sorry I came late."

Isabella Weaver cried in his arms, feeling both scared and wronged.

But before seeing Harry Hunter, she was braver than anyone else; once Harry Hunter embraced her, her tears uncontrollably overflowed.

"Are you hurt? Does your body hurt?"

"I will find back everything they bullied you with!"

"I didn’t protect you well; don’t go to work recently, stay with me all the time."

Isabella Weaver finally looked up, sobbing: "Work... still has to be done, I have to earn money."

"No earning!"

Harry Hunter was extremely distressed, holding her tightly, his tone strong and cold: "The family’s money can’t be spent, I can afford to support ten of you! Allowing you to go to the company every day was to keep you from getting bored, now the situation is special, you’re not allowed to go anywhere!"

Isabella Weaver cried harder: "You’re so fierce! Why are you fierce to me?"

Harry Hunter’s voice immediately softened: "Not fierce to you, how could I bear it, I usually talk like this, don’t you know?"

"Just now in a rush, exposed my true nature, my tone was a bit harsh, I apologize to you."

"Okay? Honey? I was wrong, won’t be fierce to you, I’ll be gentle, don’t cry, be good."

Harry Hunter’s heart was in knots; she had been missing for several hours, and each minute and second in those hours was hellish torment for him.

He was used to being cold-hearted, and accidentally turned cold towards her too; his gentleness wasn’t innate, and it scared her.

He lowered his head to kiss her lips, kissed her cheeks, casually pulled a blanket to wrap around her, then used a corner of the blanket to wipe her hair.

"Did they splash water on you?"

Isabella Weaver finally found someone to complain to, crying: "Yes, a big bucket, and ice water, poured over my head, so cold!"

Harry Hunter’s heart felt as though it had been slashed, as he looked at the high swollen cheek of Isabella Weaver, the handprint clear; that slash hurt even more.

He cherished and feared his little delicate wife being wronged, she actually got slapped!

He suppressed his boiling anger, using the gentlest voice possible to coax her: "I’m warm, I’ll hold you, you’ll warm up soon, be good, honey. This grudge will definitely be avenged for you."

"They even tried to force medicine down my throat, saying if I took that bottle, I wouldn’t be able to have children anymore! They also said they would soak me in ice water when my period came!"

Harry Hunter’s indifferent eyes revealed a hint of hostility!

"Absolutely not! No one dares!"

"They also said if I couldn’t have children, you wouldn’t want me, and the Hunter Family wouldn’t want a woman who can’t have children!"

"Nonsense!"

With every sentence Isabella Weaver said, Harry Hunter’s heart ached; he knew how much she loved children!

"I’ll want you forever, Isabella, I’m in charge of the Hunter Family now, you’re my wife, no one can replace you, children are not a necessity, but you are!"
