After Betrayal: Lightning Marriage to Mr. Enigmatic
Chapter 612: You cried?
CHAPTER 612: CHAPTER 612: YOU CRIED?
However, just as he had managed to smooth relations within the Hunter Family, Amy Winters was brought back from the USA by his mother, replacing him, enjoying motherly love and everything the Hunter Family had to offer.
And what about him?
Tucker Seal didn’t like him; after just two visits to the USA, Tucker Seal forbade him from going again, claiming that Amy Winters had spoiled him, saying his personality was too obedient and gentle, lacking any trace of assertiveness!
So, he hid alone in the countryside, unable to return home, unable to go to school, unable to see his friends, or else he would be exposed.
What made him even angrier was that Winters Seal often deliberately provoked Harry Hunter, and after getting beaten, would cry and return to the USA to find his father.
To avoid exposure, he had to inflict similar wounds on his body and face as those on Winters Seal!
Hatred accumulated day by day.
He hated everyone!
The only person he didn’t hate was Leon Hunter—Leon truly treated him like a son, better than how he treated Harry Hunter.
But Winters Seal had poisoned him!
Austin Winters’ years of accumulated hatred erupted at that moment!
He wanted Winters Seal dead!
However, the death of Winters Seal did not improve his situation; it seemed only to worsen it.
The subordinates he uses now were all Winters Seal’s people, and due to Winters Seal’s arrogance and conceit, all the subordinates had this same issue.
He was nearly hindered everywhere!
The door suddenly opened, Austin Winters thought it was Little Crane, and he shouted angrily, "Get out!"
The person didn’t leave but walked straight up to him.
Austin Winters was used to it; Little Crane never listened to his orders.
He remained buried in the sofa, his hands covering his face, utterly exhausted.
Alexander Parker grabbed his collar, intending to hit him, only to discover water seeping through Austin Winters’ fingers!
He was stunned!
Austin Winters... was crying?
Austin Winters immediately realized it wasn’t Little Crane when his collar was grabbed; although Little Crane was disrespectful, he never dared to grab his clothes like that.
He let go of his hand, seeing Alexander Parker’s fist frozen midpoint, staring blankly at him.
"How did you find my address?"
"You cried?"
"No."
"Then what’s all over your face? You take me for a blind man?"
"Dihydrogen Oxide."
Alexander Parker nearly rolled his eyes!
How could there be someone so shameless, denying they cried!
Austin Winters grabbed his clothes, forcing him closer, and with a gentle voice asked, "Did you miss me?"
"I’ve missed you, my head!"
Alexander Parker’s fist finally dropped, aiming for Austin Winters’ face.
Austin Winters narrowly dodged, grabbing his wrist, "You can hit me elsewhere, just not the face."
Alexander Parker suddenly wrenched his hand free and thumped his fists onto Austin Winters’ chest and abdomen, causing Austin’s face to turn pale, his body curling up.
He didn’t dodge or fight back, even shrinking into the sofa, allowing Alexander Parker to beat him.
Alexander Parker stopped after a few punches and angrily said, "What’s wrong with you, looking down on me? Letting me win?"
Austin Winters coughed a few times, his lips close to the sofa, staining it with spots of blood.
His hand covered it, concealing the bloodstains, and he smiled gently, "Not giving away to you; I simply couldn’t beat you. Just letting you vent. You’re here to settle scores for Isabella Weaver, aren’t you?"
Alexander Parker didn’t speak for a long time, only gazing at him with a gloomy look.
Austin Winters sat up, pressing his chest to alleviate the pain, carefully observing Alexander Parker’s brow and eyes.
Such handsome features, neither losing its air of elegance nor appeal, striking a perfect balance between the mature man and the young boy, combining a hint of maturity with a touch of youthfulness—these intertwining qualities could almost cost him his life.
