CHAPTER 84: CHAPTER 84: BEWITCHMENT

"I’m not tired."

Isabella Weaver felt like she couldn’t just eat and stay here for free; she had to do some work at least.

She picked up the dishwashing gloves and put them on. Just as she was about to start washing, Harry Hunter grabbed her wrist.

"I’ll do it."

Harry took the gloves off Isabella’s hands and put them on his own, then said, "Bring me the apron and help me tie it."

Isabella was a bit puzzled, "Why would you need an apron for washing dishes? Isn’t that only used for cooking?"

How did she remember that the Weaver Family’s maids didn’t wear aprons while washing dishes?

"They use them for both cooking and washing dishes. That’s what Aunt Hart and the others do."

Isabella had no choice but to tie it for him.

When he got home, he had already taken off his suit jacket and was only wearing a crisp white shirt paired with dress pants, which made him look exceptionally tall and handsome, exuding the mature charm of a man that boys in school couldn’t match.

Isabella tied the strap around his waist, and for a moment, she actually felt like hugging him from behind.

As soon as the thought appeared, Isabella was startled and gave her head a hard knock.

Isabella, are you crazy?

What unhealthy thoughts are you having!

Have you been infected by him, now wanting to hug him too?!

Harry heard a dull "thud" sound and turned around, just in time to see Isabella knocking her own head with her little face showing undisguisable annoyance.

He chuckled softly, "Couldn’t help, so you ended up hitting yourself?"

Isabella suddenly lifted her head and instantly collided with Harry’s smiling eyes.

In his deep, starry eyes, her reflection was clearly visible, as if she had already integrated into his world, becoming one.

Isabella’s heart started racing, and she quickly took two steps back to distance herself from this man.

He’s a charmer!

Don’t even look!

Otherwise, you’ll be bewitched!

Harry was slightly helpless; his little wife was as timid as a rabbit, already on guard before anything even happened.

He turned back to wash the dishes and said casually, "Come over, I’ll wash, you place them."

Isabella heaved a sigh of relief; having something to do was good.

They stood in the kitchen, and as Harry finished washing, he handed to Isabella, who placed them in the cupboard, neatly arranged.

If Aunt Hart and the others saw the two of them washing dishes like this, they’d definitely be shocked.

To save water efficiently, they usually applied dishwashing liquid to the dishes all at once and then rinsed them together.

But Harry, he wiped one, rinsed one, taking more water and time, yet he seemed to wash with great enjoyment.

Because suddenly, he felt a sense of home, and perhaps the rest of his life would no longer be empty and lonely.

Isabella wasn’t well-treated at home, but she didn’t really need to do chores like dishwashing.

Christopher Weaver absolutely did not allow his daughter to work or do chores, considering it embarrassing; dishwashing was something for the servants to do.

So she didn’t think anything was wrong with Harry’s way of washing dishes; she even thought he was amazing, washing dishes so well.

At this moment, she didn’t realize she had fallen into the spell of "love makes everything beautiful."

After the dishwashing was done in the kitchen, it was already past one in the morning. Isabella quickly washed up and returned to the bedroom where she slept last night. Pushing open the door, she saw Harry lounging against a large pillow on the bed with a book in his hand.

Isabella was stunned for a moment.

Is he going to sleep in this room tonight?

Then where would she sleep?
