CHAPTER 97: CHAPTER 97 PARKER FAMILY

The Parker Family’s home is brightly lit.

Ella Weaver cried in her aunt Reese Renfrew’s arms: "My parents are missing, I can’t find them, the servants don’t know where they’ve gone either. The house is so dark, I’m scared to go back, Aunt, I’m so afraid!"

Reese patted her back to comfort her, then looked up together with her husband, Ryan Parker, at their son on the second floor.

Alexander Parker was so angry he almost jumped down directly from the second floor: "Why are you looking at me! It’s none of my damn business!"

Ryan soothed him with a gesture, confident that since his son never bothers lying, if he says it’s none of his business, then it truly has nothing to do with him.

"Ella, don’t panic, your parents will be fine. I’ll send people to look for them, and I’ve already informed the police. Don’t go home for now, stay here, and tell your aunt if you need anything."

Ella wiped her tears, secretly glanced at Alexander, and asked: "Then... does my cousin also live here?"

Before Ryan could speak, a vase suddenly flew down from the second floor, and accurately smashed near Ella’s feet.

With a loud shattering sound, Ella was scared and screamed loudly.

"Uncle, help! My cousin wants to kill me!"

Alexander slowly walked down from the second floor: "Cousin, you’re selfish enough. You want to live in my house and even want to kick me out? Believe it or not, I’ll make sure you don’t see the sun tomorrow?"

His face was visibly bruised, one arm wrapped layer upon layer with bandages, yet it didn’t affect his handsome presence and commanding aura. When Ella saw him coming down, she hurried to hide behind Reese, ignoring the cut on her ankle.

Others might just talk about killing as a form of bravado, but with him, if he says he’ll kill, he really means it! Without a shred of guilt!

Ella had nowhere else to go, she’d rather die than come here!

Reese had to comfort her: "Don’t be afraid, Ella, your cousin has improved a lot over the years; otherwise, your uncle and I wouldn’t let him out."

Ryan stared at his son: "Why are you coming down? Get back upstairs! You’re not allowed to eat until you explain where you’ve been and who you fought!"

He’s not worried about his son’s injuries; he’s worried that his son caused more trouble, and if someone died, he would have to do damage control.

But Alexander refused to say a word, leaving Ryan with no choice but to leave him starving.

Alexander didn’t care in the least; he was feeling quite exhilarated: "I’m going out for a walk, in the dark night’s quiet, sounds are absent; it’s a waste to stay home!"

Reese, now unable to tend to Ella, quickly grabbed her son: "You’re badly injured, why are you still going out? Get back to bed now; the doctor said your injuries don’t look serious, but in fact, your organs are hurt, and you need proper rest!"

"No, it doesn’t hurt at all. Don’t listen to the doctor fussing over nothing."

"You still can’t go out! What if you injure someone again?"

Alexander grumbled, furious to the point of wanting to spit blood!

He hadn’t injured anyone today, had he? He’d been beaten almost to death by someone else!

But could he admit such an embarrassing thing?

No!

"You’re not going out today; the living room door is locked, you can’t get out."

Alexander showed no reaction, but Ella looked horrified: "Uncle, what about me? Can’t I go out either?"

"I’ll record your fingerprint later, and you’ll be able to come and go."

Ella breathed a sigh of relief, chose a room farthest from Alexander, hurriedly took a shower, then locked the door and went to sleep.
