CHAPTER 64: CHAPTER 63: GETTING ALONG WITH MRS. SARAH

"Oh, you and Layton Lewis can write a list of the people you guys wanted to invite. Then, after I finish the list of the invitation you need to at least memorize the important people that would be attending your wedding, later on."

"Okay I will do that," Ryzel said and nodded.

Mrs. Sarah didn’t ask anything about his family members. It is customary for both sides of the family to be together in preparing for the wedding of their relatives but Mrs. Sarah only mentioned that she would be doing it together with their friends. It seems that she already knew that he wasn’t on good terms with them.

Knowing it is a good thing. He doesn’t want to invite his so-called family to his wedding as it would only destroy his mood. He doesn’t want to be unhappy on the day of his wedding so it is better not to meet anyone that would just make him unhappy.

The people he wanted to invite were actually very few as he wasn’t very sociable like Lyre so he only knew a few people he wanted to invite.

He would just invite Lyre’s family, his classmates, and his professors.

Ryzel would of course invite Lyre’s family as they have always been the people who took good care of him.

He had been with his classmates for at least four years, so even if he can’t say they are close friends he could still say that at least they are considered friends.

As for his professors he would of course invite them as they have always been teaching him and giving him convenience when he is doing his research.

He only knew a few people so he could just invite them.

"We will be holding your wedding here in Area 1. We would be using the garden for your wedding. You could check it out later," Mrs. Sarah said.

"Okay, I will be accompanying Ryzel, around the estate later on," Layton Lewis said.

"Lewis, let’s go and talk to my office first," Mr. Henry said while looking at Layton Lewis.

"Okay. Ryzel, you can talk to my mom first. We will be back later on," Layton Lewis said.

Layton Lewis and Mr. Henry went somewhere and left him and Mrs. Sarah in the living room. They should be talking about serious matters or anything related to the military. That’s why they needed to go to the office.

"Geez, can’t they talk about business later on? You guys just arrived and they’re already talking about business.

That’s why I always wanted a second child to accompany me because of their personalities.

Even if they’re on vacation they are still talking about something related to the military.

Anyway, now that they are gone let’s talk about ourselves.

I heard you are a very capable potion maker. Do you want to visit our herbs here?

We planted a lot of it but no one was using them much because I am not that talented when it comes to potion making.

Most of the time the herbs were just given away to other relatives or sent as gifts."

Hearing about herbs, Ryzel’s eyes sparked.

"Yes, mom. I would love to see what herbs you have in here," Ryzel replied with a smile.

"Okay, then let’s go," Mrs. Sarah said and invited Ryzel to go out of the house.

They used another door to go out which directly led them to where plants were planted everywhere.

There were really a lot of herbs planted in the area. Ryzel could see that all of the herbs were carefully raised. The herbs in the garden in the greenhouse were all expensive and rare herbs. If sold it would surely cost a lot.

"You can get any herb you need from here."

"Really?" Ryzel asked while looking Mrs. Sarah.

"Yes, of course. No one is using them anyway, so it is better for you to use them."

"Then, I won’t be polite. I will take some of these later," Ryzel said happily.

Both of them walked around the greenhouse to see different kinds of herbs. While Ryzel was marking the herbs he is going to take later on, Mrs. Sarah was also telling him stories about Layton Lewis.

Mrs. Sarah said that even as a child Layton Lewis had always been serious and didn’t even want to play with other children because he thought they were too childish. The only one that was left was Mervin.

As a child Mervin had alway been very active and he would always bother Layton Lewis and he was also very intelligent so he was the only one left to always accompany Layton Lewis.

Even if Layton Lewis doesn’t voluntarily play with Mervin, Mervin would always have a plan to involve Layton Lewis in his troubles.

According to Mrs. Sarah Mervin was always making trouble since he was young, he was also very intelligent that’s why the trouble he caused would also be on a large scale. He would often involve Layton Lewis so that he could escape unscathed with the trouble he caused.

Mrs. Sarah even asked why can’t they be in a relationship with each other. Both of them said that they still can tolerate each other as friends but as lovers they didn’t even consider it even once.

As soon as Ryzel heard it he also laughed about it. Well he could indeed understand why Mrs. Sarah misunderstood the two of them.

If they indeed grew up together as friends and even ended up working together without partners, such misunderstanding couldn’t be avoided.

Ryzel even saw some shippers who had a heartbreak when they knew Layton Lewis married someone else. They are shipping Layton Lewis x Mervin after knowing that Layton Lewis was married they all went out and cried, and because their ships can’t sail any longer as one of the protagonists was already married.

Ryzel even read some of those just for laughs. He actually even read some of the stories related to them made by their shippers. They were all truly capable people.

He already saw how Layton Lewis and Mervin interact. They were just like him and Lyre so he knew they don’t have any deeper feelings than friendship.

Ryzel marked a lot of herbs from the greenhouse and planned to get them later on. He won’t be doing any potions for the time being so he doesn’t need to get them right away.

It is better to use most of the herbs fresh so it is better to get them when she is going to make potions. Anyway the plants she chose weren’t truly mature yet so it is okay to leave them for the time being.

Ryzel and Mrs. Sarah stayed in the greenhouse until he finished seeing all the herbs in it. So they talked more about different topics.

After talking a lot of things about Layton Lewis they talked about the movies Mrs. Sarah participated in.

With Lyre by his side he also watched a lot of movies Mrs. Sarah acted in. Mrs. Sarah also described a lot of sceneries she saw while going to different places because of her career. Ryzel also enjoyed listening to Mrs. Sarah’s experience as those were the things he has yet to see.

He enjoyed talking about different things with Mrs. Sarah so after staying in the greenhouse they went back to the living room and started watching a movie Mrs. Sarah recommended.

The movie was just releases a while ago and Mrs. Sarah has VIP access to see it so Ryzel can also see the movie in advance.

Movies always have a preview by selected users before it would be available on different sites. As a renowned actress, Mrs. Sarah always received different access to different movies every time.

They were enjoying the movie when Layton Lewis and Mr. Henry came back to the living room. It seems that their talk is finally over.
