    Ning Yichu couldn’t tell if it was her own heartbeat racing out of control. Visions of that drunken night’s tangled scenes flashed through her mind, and she blurted out without thinking, “How many times do I have to tell you, I’ve never had your child, and now I seriously suspect that you’re getting so close to me just to take advantage of me!”

    Li Lingyang’s breath caught, a furious fire swirling in his eyes as he tightened his grip on her wrist. “Then tell me, why did you appear at this amusement park?”

    “That’s my privacy, none of your business!”

    Shen Jiangqing looked on in disbelief. Was this really the cold and proud Li Lingyang she remembered?
