After Prison, She Shocks the World
Chapter 200 Su Junxian, Su Junhui Learn the Truth
CHAPTER 200: CHAPTER 200 SU JUNXIAN, SU JUNHUI LEARN THE TRUTH
Lady Su’s gaze turned icy when she saw Fu Bing standing beside Su Chu’s grave.
These two, mother and daughter, really are persistent spirits.
Fu Bing glanced over the names on the tombstone, then looked towards Lady Su and her group, switching places with Wu Shi.
Ren Ye stood in front of Fu Ya’s grave, facing Lady Su.
Lady Su indifferently shifted her gaze away and instructed someone to clean Su Chu’s tomb.
It turned out that Fu Ya’s insistence on being buried here was not because she could gaze upon Jiangnan from afar, but because Su Chu was here. For her, Jiangnan wasn’t worth any sentimental attachment. She was willing to come because her true lover was here.
Lady Su tried hard to control herself from looking at Fu Ya and Fu Bing.
One brought death to her youngest son; the other bore some resemblance to her.
Lady Su fixed her gaze on Fu Bing’s face, her eyes filled with scorn.
A lowly actor dares to imitate her.
Fu Bing, unfazed, met Lady Su’s gaze with composure, indifferent to the scorn in her eyes.
Indeed, she still did not like the Su Family members. She had even quietly reflected upon herself, thinking it was her own envy of the top-ranking wealthy family. Now she realized it wasn’t that; it was their disrespect and hostility towards her.
Ren Ye walked over to Fu Bing and Wu Shi, acting as if he hadn’t seen Lady Su, and said directly to Fu Bing, "Let’s go back."
"Yeah."
Lady Su’s eyes sharpened even more.
"You are Ren Ye?"
Ren Ye turned back and raised an eyebrow. "Surprising that you remember. That’s quite rare."
"Move that person’s grave away!"
"If you have the leisure, move your precious son instead," Ren Ye retorted. "A fine Su Family descendant not buried in the Su ancestral graves, but instead lying in solitude outside."
"It’s all that vixen’s fault!" Lady Su said hatefully, then glared at Fu Bing.
Fu Bing quickly understood who Lady Su was referring to.
She stepped in front of Ren Ye. "Although you are older, and I should show you some respect, since you show no respect for my mother, I see no need to overly respect you. You should mind your own affairs and those of the people around you; don’t trouble yourself with other people’s matters."
"Also, before you judge others, please take a look at your own character. I, at any rate, have saved three lives from your Su Family. Speaking ill of my mother in front of the very person who saved your family members—have you lived all these decades for nothing? Haven’t you learned even a shred of basic human decency?"
"What did you say?" Lady Su shook with anger.
In her memory, Fu Bing had always shown her respect and acted appropriately. She hadn’t expected such a sharp-tongued retort.
"Are you hard of hearing? I’ll repeat myself then," Fu Bing said coldly.
Lady Su pushed the butler beside her.
The butler collapsed conveniently, calling out comically and exaggeratedly.
"Oh dear, surely Third Young Master has shown his spirit! It’s my fault for not tidying his doorstep."
With that, he crawled to Su Chu’s grave and began to kowtow.
Distracted by the butler’s antics, Fu Bing lost interest in responding further and, supporting Ren Ye, slowly descended the steps.
"Uncle Ren, I used to refrain from prying into my mother’s private life," Fu Bing said. "I thought if she didn’t tell me herself, she didn’t want me to know. But now that people slander her, and I don’t even know why they do it, I feel wronged."
"Your mother truly loved Su Chu, the brother of Su Jiang and Su He," Ren Ye explained. "It was said that Su Chu was the smartest of the three Su sons but was frail and sickly. I don’t know how he and your mother met. Their affection for each other was profound. After you were born, I visited Jiangcheng. That was the last time I saw Su Chu. Not long after, he passed away. I remember you used to call him ’Dad’ back then."
"I don’t remember."
"It’s quite normal for a child not to remember. It’s enough to know that your mother was deeply loved. She stayed in Jiangcheng because of you and Su Chu. As long as either of you were in Jiangcheng, she was willing to stay."
"Yeah."
The three made their way to the car. Ren Ye looked back at the vast cemetery.
His gaze fell on a particular tomb.
"Your mother is one of the rare women I respect and admire," Ren Ye continued. "Her love for Su Chu was steadfast, and her love for you was encompassing and indulgent. Knowing what you’ve been through and seeing how you conduct yourself now, one can tell how much love she had given you."
It was precisely because he had met Fu Ya that other women seemed tasteless to him.
"The love she once gave you was enough to protect you from the storms you faced."
Fu Bing followed Ren Ye’s gaze to the same spot, her eyes dimming with sorrow. "Neither the man she loved nor I could protect her."
"During the years she was ill, it was you who steadfastly stayed by her side," Ren Ye said gently. "And it was your friend who accompanied her on her last journey, making sure she didn’t walk it alone."
A gust of cold wind swept through. Wu Shi spoke, "Get in the car."
Lady Su had been covertly observing Fu Bing, her unease growing.
Fu Bing’s appearance looked more and more familiar, as if she had seen it somewhere before. She had undergone quite a change from her time on the film set.
Lady Su asked Su Nu, "Don’t you think Fu Bing resembles someone?"
"Her bearing resembles the Second Miss, and her features resemble you, Old Madam," Su Nu replied.
"Really?" Lady Su’s expression turned even more unsightly. "Are you sure?"
"I am certain, Old Madam." Su Nu affirmed, then hesitated, "Could Miss Fu possibly be...?" She trailed off, not daring to complete the sentence.
The butler, who was also present, wouldn’t have dared to voice such a possibility aloud.
But Lady Su knew exactly what Su Nu had been about to say.
Fu Bing could very well be Su Jiang and Han Liying’s lost daughter! And this secret couldn’t be kept hidden much longer. Su Junhui was already suspicious, and with his capabilities, he’d soon have results.

Su Junhui handed a document to Su Junxian. "Elder brother, take a look."
"Has the portrait come out?"
"Yes."
Su Junxian immediately opened it. Upon clearly seeing the person in the portrait, his expression froze.
"How can it be her?"
"After the portrait came out, we immediately compared it with all available photos of Fu Bing," Su Junhui explained. "The earliest photo of her on the internet is from when she was sixteen, which completely fits the developmental pattern of our sister’s appearance."
After a long silence, Su Junxian said, "Keep this a secret for now. Don’t tell anyone else."
"Why?"
"There are many reasons. Most importantly, we can’t offer Fu Bing a safe home right now. When she was lost, it was very likely due to a conspiracy. Before we understand this conspiracy, bringing her home is tantamount to putting her in danger. She has never enjoyed a bit of the Su Family’s glory, yet she has borne the Su Family’s hardships. Do you have the heart to do that?"
Su Junhui fell silent. "I need to find a way to get a DNA sample from Fu Bing, to have a more direct comparison."
Su Junxian shook his head. "No need."
He quickly pulled up a photo on his phone.
It was a picture of their grandmother and great-aunt.
He then found a photo of Fu Bing wearing a cheongsam.
"Take a look for yourself."
Su Junhui pursed his lips and remained silent.
Su Junxian rubbed his temples. "Junhui, do you think other people with eyes can’t see who Fu Bing resembles?"
Countless speculations ran through Su Junhui’s mind, leaving him in turmoil.
Eventually, the only thing he could utter was a single question.
"Why?"
"I don’t know. I want to know why as well," Su Junxian said, his voice low. "All five of us sons grew up well in the Su Family, yet only our youngest sister left. She became the most dazzling star, and none of us recognized her. She was even wrongfully accused and faced prison right in front of us."
A hint of anger, though suppressed, still leaked through Su Junxian’s eyes.
"What do we have to be proud of, content with, or take delight in?!"
