"I just got back to Ningham. Where are you? I’ll come find you."

Breathing unsteadily, Mia Townsend gave her the address, "I’ve been stabbed, I’m bleeding non-stop. Lucy, bring medicine when you come."

"Alright, wait for me. I’ll be right over," Lucy Eaton hung up the phone, picked out a set of her own clothes from the wardrobe, grabbed a medicine kit, and hurried to the garage.

She had planned to stay in Northriver tonight, but upon hearing that they couldn’t reach Mia Townsend, she sensed something was wrong and flew back to Ningham directly.

Just as she reached her bedroom, Mia Townsend’s call came through.

She drove very fast along the way and when she reached the phone booth, she saw Mia Townsend squatting there, with a small pool of blood on the ground.

"Lucy!" Mia Townsend stood up, holding onto the phone booth, and Lucy Eaton walked over with an umbrella, helped her into the car, then used tissues and bottled water to clean up the bloodstains in the booth.

While bandaging the wound, Mia Townsend, choking with tears, recounted the night’s happenings to Lucy Eaton, "I never thought I’d kill him. He was determined to see me dead..."
