CHAPTER 25: CHAPTER 25: COERCION

Autumn Fletcher didn’t expect this woman to be so bold and fearless. She really wouldn’t dare to kill anyone here.

"I might not dare to kill you here, but once we’re outside, who knows? Keep your mouth shut, or you won’t be able to handle the consequences!"

Lucy Eaton looked at her coldly. "What am I afraid of? I’ll tell my boyfriend. If I die unexpectedly, the murderer must be you!"

Autumn Fletcher didn’t expect her to think so quickly and said no more. She put away the gun and shoved Lucy Eaton onto the bed, then lifted the covers and helped Stellan Quinn stand up, pulling his skirt down to his waist as they left.

At that moment, Jacob Green was shirtless, although his pants were still on.

Lucy Eaton closed the door and returned to dress Jacob Green in his clothes and shoes.

About half an hour later, Jacob Green woke up.

"Awake?"

Jacob Green propped himself up, glancing around, and his gaze fell on Nathaniel Green, who was lying on the floor.

"You and Nathaniel came here with Autumn Fletcher. I didn’t see you guys come back, so I came looking for you. I didn’t expect that when I came in..." She told him everything that had happened. Halfway through, Nathaniel Green also woke up.

"We can be sure that Autumn Fletcher took photos of you with Stellan Quinn, but I couldn’t help you intercept the photos in time."

Nathaniel Green was extremely furious. "This is absolutely disgusting! Using such despicable tactics without any bottom line!"

Jacob Green pursed his lips and got up from the bed. Originally, he still respected Autumn Fletcher, but now he was utterly disgusted by her, and Stellan Quinn made him feel nauseous as well.

With a cold demeanor, he left the room first, followed by Nathaniel Green and Lucy Eaton.

Outside, the guests were raising their glasses and celebrating, but Autumn Fletcher and her mother, along with Grace Hughes, were nowhere to be seen.

Jacob Green walked quickly. Nathaniel Green was able to keep up, but Lucy Eaton, wearing high heels and a floor-length gown, quickly fell behind.

She hurried through the crowd, trying to catch up, when a voice stopped her.

"Miss Eaton."

It was Charles Sharp in a suit.

"Mr. Sharp."

"I didn’t realize you were here as well?"

She gave an awkward smile, "Just here with a friend."

Charles Sharp nodded, his gaze lingering on her. "You look very pretty today."

"Thank you, but I have something to take care of, so I’ll be going first."

"Alright."

Lucy Eaton rushed outside just as the car was waiting.

She opened the back door and got in. Although she couldn’t clearly see Jacob Green’s emotions, she could feel his cold aura.

The car drove smoothly, and the interior was silent.

Lucy Eaton didn’t know what to say, so she turned and gently wrapped her arms around his neck, resting her face on him.

Jacob Green’s arm went over her head to her waist, and he affectionately rubbed his face against the top of her head.

Just as the car entered Blossom Haven, Jacob Green’s phone started ringing.

It was a call from the Green Family’s patriarch.

He was asked to return immediately.

So Lucy Eaton got out of the car, and Jacob Green headed home.

He could already guess what it was about.

As a result, he mentally prepared himself the entire way.

Walking into the house, not only were the Green Family members all present, but the entire Autumn Fletcher family was too.

The meaning was obvious.

Jacob Green walked to an empty sofa with a cold expression and sat down. On the coffee table were several intimate photos of him with Stellan Quinn.

"You drugged me and Nathaniel, took pictures, and then immediately delivered them here?" Jacob Green smirked, "Impressive speed."

The Green Family elders, initially wanting to speak, looked at each other in bewilderment, opting to observe in silence.

"Mr. Green, even if you don’t want to take responsibility, there’s no need to say that." Autumn Fletcher righteously looked at him. "After you’re tired of playing, you say you don’t like her anymore? Our Stellan is still a virgin. How can you bully us like this? We came here in the middle of the night to get an answer for Stellan, so please give us one!"

Jacob Green’s gaze swept to Stellan Quinn, who kept their head down. "What kind of answer do you want?"

"Marriage!" Autumn Fletcher blurted out, "You must marry her!"

"What if I refuse?"

"Then we will have no choice but to expose these photos online and reveal the truth to the world, letting everyone know what kind of man Jacob Green is!"

Lily Green sneered, "What a show you’ve put on. Just so your precious daughter can marry my brother, you’ve resorted to any shameless means possible."

"Miss Green, you can’t eat words like you eat food," Autumn Fletcher retorted sharply, meeting her gaze. "Mr. Green, just one word: will you marry or not?"

Her overbearing attitude made the entire living room atmosphere freeze completely.

Jacob Green suddenly laughed, but his eyes lacked any warmth. "Are you sure you want to marry Stellan to me?"

"Otherwise, why would the three of us be here?"

"Fine, then let’s get engaged first." Jacob Green smirked, "When would you like it to be?"

Autumn Fletcher, well aware of how much the Green Family valued their reputation, came tonight with trepidation, but didn’t expect to force Jacob Green to comply.

Her heart relaxed a bit, "Three days for the engagement, and the wedding in half a month."

"It’s settled then. You may leave now."

Autumn Fletcher pulled Stellan Quinn to stand up and left with her husband.

Watching them leave, Lily Green couldn’t help but ask, "Brother, even if the photos are published online, what difference does it make? It would only slightly affect our family’s reputation. It’s not even a serious matter. They’re not afraid their precious daughter won’t get married, so why should we worry you won’t find a wife? Don’t joke with your life’s major decisions."

"Your sister is right," Mrs. Green huffed in agreement. "The Quinn Family is truly shameless for doing such despicable things and daring to come and threaten us! It’s outrageous!"

"Brother, did you really not touch that Quinn girl?" the Green Family matriarch asked.

"Grandma, I swear on the honor of our Green Family ancestors, if I so much as touched a finger on her, may I not have a..." Before he could finish the word ’good,’ Lily Green quickly covered his mouth, "Don’t say such a terrible oath. I know you didn’t."

"Seeing the Quinn girl’s expression tonight, I assume her parents made the decision for her. She couldn’t fight back."

"Did her parents put a knife to her neck?" Jacob Green had a plan in mind, "As for my marriage, you don’t have to worry. I won’t marry her."

"Then why did you agree?" Mr. Green asked, puzzled.

"I have my reasons," Jacob Green’s eyes turned cold. "I hate being schemed, threatened, and deceived the most. The Quinn Family has covered all three."

"..."

——

Grace Hughes had been anxiously waiting for news about Stellan Quinn. Seeing them return, she immediately went to inquire.

"How did it go? What was the result?"

Stellan Quinn replied dejectedly, "Jacob Green agreed. We’ll be engaged in three days and married in half a month."
