CHAPTER 60: CHAPTER 60: MR. YE, LAVISH AND GENEROUS

Lucy first wandered around the store for a while, then went to meet Elijah Sheppard for the MV shoot.

Since it was the MV for the title track, it wasn’t easy; it required several days of shooting.

Lucy spent the entire day on the film set, not knowing the hardship involved in such work.

At five when the shoot ended, she returned home and immediately saw Jacob Green chatting with an elderly woman, with that piece of jade stone on the table.

The elder woman’s gaze held some deep meaning as she looked at her, without immediately replying to Lucy, and instead turned to Jacob Green, "There are some things I need to discuss privately with Lady Green, could I ask Mr. Green to step aside?"

Jacob Green immediately complied and stood up, "Alright, you two talk."

After dinner, she and Jacob Green went out together.

Originally, she planned to have her teeth cleaned at the hospital the next day.

Under the surprised gazes of the clerks, Jacob Green handed over all the beautiful red lingerie to them for packaging.

After selecting, his eyes shifted to the cosmetics section.

While looking at lipsticks, he imagined how Lucy would look wearing them, so he bought all the colors he thought looked good.

"Sir, these lipsticks are all famous brands. Especially several models are limited edition, and the minimum is eight hundred per piece, and you bought dozens..."

When Jacob Green got home, Lucy still hadn’t returned.

He carefully unwrapped the lipsticks, placed them in the box on the vanity table, and neatly folded the lingerie into the drawer in the wardrobe.

Just after taking a shower, Lucy came back.

As soon as she walked in, she asked, "Honey, are you crazy? Two sets of lingerie would have been enough, why buy so many, and you bought dozens of lipsticks, do you want me to eat them?"

"If eating them, this isn’t nearly enough," Jacob Green moved forward to embrace her, "Use a different lipstick color every day, to look beautiful, but, how did you know?"
