CHAPTER 31: CRAZY WITCH

"Mhmmm!"

Saintess Aisha let out a muffled scream as she resisted the kiss, but I held her and absorbed the holy energy that was messing with her body.

However, it was not easy at all; it hurt like hell.

I felt unimaginable pain as I absorbed the violent and punitive energy, but I completely absorbed it and converted it into mana before it could do irreversible damage to my body.

"Darling! What are you doing? Did that woman do anything to you?" Eleanor screamed at the display of us two performing the profound act of sharing saliva.

"Husband! Get away from that bitch! I’ll eat her alive!" Iris also growled in anger.

’That sounds scary, Iris,’ I thought in disbelief. ’But do werewolves eat humans? I hope not...’

"Mhmm...Mwah!"

After finishing and removing almost every speck of holy energy from her body, I left her lips with only a strand of saliva connecting us.

She immediately blushed at the realization of what she did and crawled away from me in fear.

"You brute! How dare you defile a Saintess blessed by God like me?" she exclaimed in anger, pointing her fingers at me while still blushing like a tomato.

I laughed at her reaction and walked closer to her, but she still distanced herself in fear of being assaulted again.

’But why crawl?’ I thought in amusement.

Still, I had to clear my name first. "Actually—" But before I could speak, I felt my instincts scream and realized something. I immediately hugged Aisha.

"How dare you—" Aisha was about to scream in rage again, but what happened next shocked everyone.

"Valerian!" "Darling!" "Husband!" Simultaneous shouts echoed as they realized what had happened.

I was pierced by a sword that looked to be made of dark mana.

"Tch! You ruined my plan again! Just what are you, you goddamn freak?" I heard a female voice from a hooded figure we all seemed to have ignored before.

I cursed my lack of awareness.

Of course, a hooded figure among all this chaos is suspicious.

But most of all, I cursed the one who orchestrated this situation.

’Fuck this damn plot,’ I thought with rage as I felt my insides churning as the mana in the sword rampaged in my body.

’Author, the next time we meet, I’ll find a way to fuck you up,’

/Please don’t, my life is already fucked up enough./

I seemed to have heard his annoying voice, but by now I had already lost my will to scream and soon lost consciousness due to severe damage to my body.

"No, it can’t be," Eleanor whispered in disbelief. She saw Valerian get shot by that figure.

Alicia also had the same reaction because she recognized that figure. "Lina!" she shouted, calling the figure in anger.

The figure turned around and removed her hood, revealing a young girl with pigtails. "Oh, my dear sister, it’s been a short while since we met. How was the poison? Did you feel the effect properly?" she smiled cutely and asked. But soon, her face turned ugly. "Of course, I’d be happy if you died from it."

She was Alina Walpurgis, Alicia’s little sister and the one who poisoned her before.

"Damn witch! That wasn’t the agreement!" Eleanor shouted with rage before attacking her. But with a simple gesture, Alina bound Eleanor in a binding made of mana.

"Ah, yes. I apologize for that, my Lady, but I promise I’ll send you to that man soon enough," she said respectfully with a bow. But soon, she followed with a dark smirk. "That is, if you vampires are granted an afterlife. Unfortunately..."

Eleanor tried to shout at her, but her mouth was also bound, making the scream muffled.

"Lina, I forgave you for poisoning me, but you are taking your pranks too far now. Do you realize what will happen if you do what you said?" Alicia said with a solemn tone, warning her sister of the consequences.

But Alina just smiled wider and laughed heartily. "Hahahaha! That’s better. Actually, that’s my intention! This peace is annoying, not suitable for us supernaturals having to hide ourselves from the world. Aaahh! That’s so suffocating!"

She made a face of disgust at the very word "peace," it seems.

"That’s why I joined Azazel’s side to make this shitty and boring world burn and create a new paradise!" she exclaimed with delight and craziness.

All the people shuddered at the name she spoke: Azazel, that Angel of Doom.

"Alina! Do you even know who you are dealing with? That monster was the reason all races waged war in the past! He was the cause of the great wars!" Alicia shouted, no longer calling the woman by a nickname.

"Heh! So you really fear that person, huh? I didn’t expect that from my oh-so-mighty Elder Sister," she acted surprised and shocked, making cute gestures.

But Alicia was beyond pissed. "It’s not a joke, Alina! This could endanger the whole world!"

At her words, Alina made a confused face and uttered, "And what’s the problem in that?" She was genuinely confused, making Alicia speechless.

"What do you mean by that? It could harm people!" Alicia exclaimed. But Alina laughed at the words.

"Hahahaha! Sister, we are witches! We are called ’bringers of misfortune’ by humans! Do you really think we should care about all those worthless people who die? Be real, alright?"

Alicia felt despair as she realized her sister had truly lost her mind. "Just why are you doing this? When have I treated you wrong?" she asked in a heartbroken tone.

But Alina sneered and spit on the ground. "You, and treat me well, heh! I always hated that good nature of yours, always acting kind and caring when you stole everything from me!" she shouted with venom, her eyes dark and filled with hatred.

"I always tried to work hard and improve my magic to earn Mother’s approval, but—" she bit her lips and continued, "But you always stole her attention away from me, and even one of the Four Arcane Grimoires chose you and not me as its user!"

Alina then looked at all of them, her eyes crazy with hatred. "I’ll take my revenge on you and this world, which didn’t choose me!"

Alicia sighed and readied her staff. ’I hope I had more mana,’ she lamented her luck and prepared a spell to hopefully stop her crazy sister.

"I don’t know what’s happening, but that bitch hurt my Husband! I’ll kill her!" Iris muttered with a crazy look and bared her fangs at Alina.

Liliana also joined beside Alicia and decided to help.

"DAMN YOU!" Eleanor finally managed to free herself and slashed at Alina with her blade, but her blow was once again blocked by a dark shield.

With her blow being the cue, the others joined in the fight that hopefully was the last fight of the night.

............................................................................................

While this was happening, Victor was getting a tour of the Faust household mansion.

"Whoa! It’s gigantic, even more than my mansion!" he exclaimed in wonder and looked at the various antiques. ’My old man would go crazy witnessing these expensive antiques,’ he thought in disbelief as they all looked expensive and genuine.

"I hope you like it here, dear," a cute, girly voice sounded from behind him, filled with youthful charm.

Victor turned around and gazed at the girl who was now engaged to him. Mariabell was now wearing a frilly white dress, making her cuteness more apparent and honestly harder for Victor to resist hugging her, especially when he knew they were engaged.

"Maria, is this really a family of magicians?" Victor asked again, still doubtful of his new reality.

Mariabell just tilted her head curiously and pouted. "Mou! How many times are you going to ask the same question? And no, it’s a family of mages, not magicians."

Victor was confused about the difference. "What is the difference? Isn’t it the same thing?" Victor asked Mariabell curiously.

Mariabell waved her hands, and a book from a nearby bookshelf flew to her hands and opened itself, showing the sketch of a particular figure. "Magician, as you call it, is a term defining someone who performs miracles out of nothing. But mages are different. We use mana to perform complicated calculations that are under the realm of the law of physics, so essentially we are different."

Victor remembered something similar he heard before. "So true magic is outside the law of physics and doesn’t require mana?" he concluded.

Mariabell nodded. "You got it correctly. Magic is just a primitive word used by ignorant people. The proper term is Magecraft, or Witchcraft if it’s used by witches."

Victor deadpanned at the term. ’Why do the terms feel so similar to a particular game?’ Then he realized something important. "Witches? We have witches here?" Victor asked in surprise.

Mariabell nodded and showed several illustrations of some creatures. "Not only witches, every supernatural creature you probably thought were fiction are actually real, like vampires, werewolves, demons, and even elves are real."

Upon hearing those familiar names, Victor’s heart started beating like crazy.

’Damn. Every man’s waifus are actually real. What was I even doing my entire life?’
