Aísē: My Five Supernatural Wives
Chapter 50: Three rulers Of the Vampires
CHAPTER 50: THREE RULERS OF THE VAMPIRES
"Hmm, shouldn’t you already know from my explanation?" Merlin said with a tilt of her head
Ah, yes, she did explain that.
So, since I can properly control my powers by now, I should be at the Catalyst stage then.
"So I am at Origin Level 4: Catalyst, huh? I thought I’d be much stronger than that," I muttered with disappointment.
But upon hearing my disappointed words, Merlin bonked my head and growled.
"Are you serious? The fact that you are at this level is so strange as it is. No newborn should be so powerful."
She huffed and turned her face around.
I rubbed the spot she hit me on and wondered.
So I am a rare case
"Is it because of this legacy I had been hearing about?" I asked her in curiosity
I still didn’t quite understand what the deal was with this Legacy thing.
"Who told you that?" she asked, her face turning serious.
"Umm, my wife Liliana," I muttered, confused at her sudden shift in Expression.
Is that something I wasn’t supposed to know?
Merlin facepalmed at my answer and groaned, "Liliana, that girl! argh"
Then she turned to look at me and said with a solemn expression.
"Listen, Valerian, the fact that you own the remains of a god is something that should be top secret, and only the top figures in the five factions are aware of it."
So it was really something I wasn’t supposed to know.
"So if the fact I do own it spreads, will it spark another war?" I asked cautiously, my voice just a whisper
Merlin nodded with a dark face, "Yes, and that’s why no one should be aware of it, not even you."
I understood her reasoning, but something still wasn’t right.
"How does Liliana know it then?" I asked Merlin with a baffled face.
After all, she shouldn’t know it as well.
"Ah, about that, you should know that Lucifer isn’t the most suitable Father figure, considering how that person dotes on that lazy bum so much."
Merlin’s face had a look of tiredness as she said those words.
So that’s the case, huh...
Wait, she calls Father-in-Law by name, wasn’t she Liliana’s sister?
"I thought you were Liliana’s sister. Is that not the case?"
My voice brought Merlin back from her trance, and she looked at me with a mischievous smile.
"Heh, so you preferred me to be her sister, huh? We’re hoping for a Shimaidon." Merlin had a knowing look as she patted my back.
Wait, when did she get so close...
"No! I was curious because Liliana called you sister, that’s it," I retorted and turned my face away from her gaze, which seemed to say ’Don’t worry, I approve of your tastes’
"Eheh, though I may not be her sister biologically, I was indeed born due to Lilith, her mother." She giggled nd distanced herself a little and looked up in the air.
"I was originally a spirit that lost her true name..." She paused and looked at me with a sad expression.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked, confused by her words.
Merlin laughed with a wry smile and muttered, "Actually, never mind, it’s not a fun story to hear anyway, let’s go back to your training."
She then ignored me, who looked frustrated by her cliffhanger.
’Didn’t know I would get cliffhangers in real life, ’ I grumbled in my mind and followed her into somewhere I didn’t have a clue.
Well, Guess there are a lot of things I need to explore, like how I know little to nothing about my wives.
Even about Eleanor, whom I had known for ten years, I hardly even knew what she liked about me.
Aside from my face...
I hope she isn’t still attracted to just my face.
My thoughts wandered around until we finally reached whatever place Merlin was bringing me to
And the thing I found was mindblowing.
"Why the fuck are you in a gaming room?" I blurted out in astonishment and looked at Merlin in desbelief
"Oh, you followed me, huh?" She tilted her head while muttering, then casually sat on her gaming chair
"What else was I supposed to do?" I shouted in anger
Am I really going to be fine with this mentor?
............
......
Back into the Night Kingdom
In a round table, three figures were sitting facing each other in a triangle.
"Carmilla, what is the meaning of this? How can you let a random mutt have the name of our lord?"
One of them smashed the glass he was holding as she shouted in anger at the red-haired woman, who was calmly sipping her tea.
"Vlad, you should know that what name a vampire takes is entirely up to them. I can’t just simply disallow that, " She muttered with a sigh.
But the man wasn’t getting any calm by that.
"Are you kidding me? Did you forget how important that name is to us, or did merging with that bitch make you forget that?" He spat venomously as she looked at her in resentment
Erzsabet didn’t say anything, but her aura turned darker.
Vlad gulped unconsciously as he felt instinctive fear towards her.
"Now now, Dad, don’t be so harsh at Big sis Carmilla, she misses that person more than you.... well, unless you are a gay that" another figure joined into the conversation, making Vlad’s forehead bulge in annoyance.
"Don’t call me dad, you bastard. I don’t acknowledge you."
Hearing his annoyed remark, the third figure shrugged his shoulders as if he didn’t care about what he thought of him
Erzsabet finally calmed down a bit from their banter and muttered, "Vlad, accept it already that you have a son. Always favouring daughters isn’t healthy, you know."
Vlad turned to look at Erzsabet in desbelief. "How can you say that this bastard just came one day claiming to be my son and stole half of my territory? I can’t accept this bastard, never."
Erzsabet sighed at his stubbornness and gazed at the Third person with a look of apology, and he shook his head with a wry smile, gesturing not to worry.
These people are three out of the four Rulers of the Night Kingdom and also the Dukes/Duchesses of Vampires.
Erzsébet Carmille von Karnstein, the ruler of the east
Vlad Dracul Tepeș, the ruler of the north
And finally, the son of Dracula and also the fourth Duke of vampires
Vanir Alucard de Transilvania Tepeș, the ruler of the south
Although the Third duke is missing here, since the other ruler doesn’t care, it seems to be normal.
"So, Vlad, what do you want to do here? My son-in-law already earned that name, and it already belongs to him" Erzsabet said to Vlad who stood up and decalred "I’ll kill that eyesore, obviously, no one gets to dishonor my lord’s honor."
"Unfortunately, Dear former ruler of Wallachia, I can’t have you do that."
But before he could leave, a voice echoed in the middle of the room as a holograph of the pope appeared.
"Adrian?" Ezsebet blurted out in shock at the Pope’s appearance
Vanir was also surprised and, most importantly, emotional, "Father..." he whispered with a voice filled with longing.
The Pope Adrian gazed at him briefly with a gentle look, then turned towards Vlad, who looked as if he would burn the old man alive.
"Adrian, you bastard, how dare you appear in front of me and even have the gall to order me what to do?" his forehead bulged as he barely held back from snapping.
"Haha Vampire king, please don’t be so angry at me so much, I am saying because it involves you as well," he said with a harmless smile, but his eyes held a hidden threat.
"After all, that boy is crucial for all our factions and the peace of the world."
Adrian said with a deep and serious voice, and even Vlad, who had an utter dislike for humans, couldn’t help but admit that he must listen to his words.
Vlad snorted and got back to his seat.
"Guess I’ll visit that eyesore a little bit later anyway, why the fuck are you here? I don’t think you magically knew I was about to waste this little scheme of you guys," He asked with a bored expression after calming down
"Yes, Adrian, why are you suddenly contacting us?".Erzsabet also had the same question
It seems Erzsabet had a lot more tolerance for humans than Vlad.
"Ahem, I contacted you since my granddaughter is ready to depart in a week, so I hope the vampires don’t cause trouble for her," He said solemnly, like it was even more serious than world peace.
"Your Granddaughter?" Erzsabet muttered in confusion
She tried to recall why his granddaughter was coming until Vanir, in front of her, reminded her
"Big sis, don’t you remember that Pope Adrian only accepted our new treaty on the condition that your son-in-law should take responsibility for his granddaughter?"
As Vanir said those words, Erzsabet recalled the condition, and sweat dropped.
"Aw, oh, I think my daughter will go on a rampage if she knows this," She muttered with a worried look.
Originally, she planned to tell this to Valerian after he got a new name, but
She totally forgot everything after he got the name.
’I have to ask Merlin to release him early to deal with this mess,’ she thought. She quickly came up with an idea and immediately decided to dump it all on her son-in-law’s shoulders.
Well, after all, it’s his fault...
