Leo drove the car back to the paddock after the warm up, he gave the okay signal to the marshalls on the side and they quickly brought Lily over and helped her sit in her car seat. They made sure to double check the harness, and wished her luck with a thumb's up.

The door was closed and all the systems were checked, before the paddock said, "Go!"

Leo nodded and then slowly drove the tour car out of the paddock and in the pit lane. Lily looked at him and asked, "Baba, how is this fast?"

Leo smiled and replied, "Love, in the pit lane one has to drive slow because there are people present here when you are going through a real race."

Lily hummed and replied, "But we are not in a real race at the moment."

Leo replied, "Rules are to be followed and practiced, so that you develop an habit. This rule to drive slow is for safety of not only the other people but also ourselves. Understood?"

The little girl nodded and just then, they came out of the pit lane, and the car began to pick up speed. The young man said, "Now, enjoy."

Leo shifted gears and the car vroomed through the circuit like a rocket. It was an electric car, but for the testing purposes they have used computer commands to limit the speed levels. So, changing gears meant pressing a button to unlock the levels.

Lily was surprised as the scenery zoomed past her at a high speed, and at times Leo would brake and she would lean forward slightly. The gyroscope under her seat negated the effects of gravity and Lily felt rather bored. She looked at Leo and asked, "Why am I not moving like you?"

Leo smiled and replied, "Because we have a special seat for you. At your age riding a vehicle at such high speeds is very dangerous."

Lily was surprised and confused at the same time, she asked, "What do you mean?"

Leo then went on to describe the laws of gravity that work on the people in vehicles, and he did so in the manner that Lily could understand. His teaching buff, the passive skill that would help Lily learn everything he teaches her came into play.

After a few laps, Lily understood the situation and then said, "If that is the case, then it would have been better if I had not taken a ride in this car. What is the point of it when I cannot enjoy the ride? Such things can only be enjoyed when you go through all the aspects. Sitting in a car and moving all around on high speed without feeling anything at all, is that not similar to how I am driven from home to school and everywhere else?"

Leo chuckled and he asked, "Then shall I park the car back in the paddock?"

Lily nodded decisively and sighed as she said, "Why do the adults get all the good things?"

While Leo parked the car back in the paddock, Matilda was busy dealing with the waves hitting the foundation of her company. Many of the employees had been doubting the future, and some of them had even resigned at the moment the news was telecasted.

Matilda was in a terrible mood at the moment, and the people that she had planted all over the government, were trying to reach out to her one way or the other to seek a way out of the country, because once they were apprehended under the charges of corruption, they would be executed without any exceptions.

How could Matilda help these people? The source of her power, the Luger family was being investigated and scrutinized from all the law enforcing agencies in the world. They didn't want any more scrutiny and so they pulled the insider strings in the Swastika Assembly and kind of sealed off the family and the business.

They didn't go for any new projects and focused on keeping the company working. Lugers were not simple masterminds, they had foundations that ran as deep as the history of the Swastika Nation. They had survived five dynasties and several cabinet changes, they weren't so easy to take down.

Matilda was sitting in her office, after mulling over the thoughts, she found that she could not really stand up against Leo Cardinal on a whim. He and Snow had the skills that would take a long time to counter, but before that she ought to gain a foothold in the Angkor City.

She sighed when she looked at the scenery from her window and mumbled, "I forgot that the longer we hold back the sweeter the revenge becomes."

With that she decided to endure this wave and live to fight another day.

Leo came back home from the race track, and found Snow and Anastasia looking at a few documents. Lily asked while she skipped over to her mother, "Ma, what are you looking at?"

Snow replied, "This is the report that we have gained from the people investigating the enemy from the other day."

Lily became curious and leaned over from the side to read out what was mentioned in the reports, Snow didn't stop her, but after a few minutes, Lily pressed her palm against her forehead and replied, "How do you even understand such a thing without overheating your brain?"

Snow chuckled and said, "Well, you will understand when you grow up."

Leo smiled and asked, "What is going on? Is Matilda stirring up something else?"

Snow shook her head and passed him the reports as she said, "From what I can tell, she is entering the survival mode. However, now someone else is making counter against us."

Leo raised his brows and then he turned to look at the document and found that the new contenders were none other than a family that had earned a family sigil several hundred years ago. They wanted to establish their supremacy by using the Cardinal Family as a whetstone.

Leo nodded and replied, "I will handle this soon. Don't worry."
