CHAPTER 306: DISCIPLINING THE PEOPLE.

As the two of them stepped out of the suite, they were greeted by Stefan Grimm. Leo was surprised and asked, "Your Grace, what caused you to come here? Don’t you have the charity gala at night?"

Stefan smiled, his graying hair were brushed nicely on his scalp and made him look particularly spirited today, as he said, "Well, there has been a buzz in the circle about your arrival, so I was thinking if we can take a small media delegation along with us to the trip to hospital today? This way we would be able to show the people that we are taking actions to restore operations."

Leo thought for a bit before he nodded and said, "That is fine, but it would only be for this one trip. After this, the Media will not be allowed to record our actions."

Stefan nodded before he turned to look at Lily and said, "Young Miss Lily, you look wonderful today."

Lily smiled and bowed as she said, "Thank you for your praise, Your Grace."

Stefan was once again surprised by her manners, and could only sigh as they walked outside. If someone was to ask the reason behind his surprise, Stefan would have said that he had never come across a child as graceful and calm as Lily. Leo smiled and then he held her hand to walk out of the Hotel.

They boarded the same car, and this time, Lily sat in Leo’s lap with a tablet in her hands. Stefan talked with Leo for a few minutes, before the driver said, "Sir, we have arrived."

Stefan nodded, and said, "Thank you, Kim."

The guards had already opened the doors, and Lily handed her tablet to Leo before the young man helped her out. Then surrounded by the guards they approached the gate of the hospital. However, Leo spotted five cameramen aiming towards him and Stefan. The journalist with the camera people dashed over to catch the two as if they were wolves.

Leo said, "Kyle, stop them."

That was all he said, then Kyle and his team became a wall before Leo and Lily. The former said, "Zeenat, watch over her. Let me deal with these guys first."

Zeenat nodded and Stefan was surprised. Leo calmly approached the five reporters, and said, "I wonder if you all came here to record the events of the day?"

The reporters fired up, "Yes, Mister Cardinal, what do you hope to achieve here?"

"Mister Cardinal, have you ever thought that your actions might be looked down upon as interference?"

They all began to question one after the other and Leo said, "If you all didn’t shut up right this moment, I will never give you an answer, then you can go back to your offices and explain to your bosses about why you were asked to leave."

His warning may have been calm but the pair of eyes he had shocked the people and they all fell silent. Leo continued, "The reason wer have come over is to inspect the hospital. Your questions would be all answered after we have finished what we have come to do here. I would like to request your patience, and also hope that you conduct yourself with some more dignity, after all, you all are the medium between the rest of the world. Please carry yourself with respect."

The reporters wanted to last out but then they sensed a chill move along their spines. Leo had already tried to reason with them, but with Lily here and short on time, he didn’t have the time to threaten them with law or draw any negative publicity because the media in the Stag Nation was famous for twisting the facts. So, he had to radiate the killer aura for a second and put the leash around these people.

After that was done, he turned around to wave at Lily and Stefan before they headed inside the hospital together. Leo told the guards to divide and also to cover all the exits. Stefan asked, "Why are we covering the exits?"

Leo asked, "As the CEO of the Grimm Group, can you call the shots and put people under investigation if I give you the evidence against them? You can verify them at your ease."

Stefan was shocked, and then Leo looked at Kyle, the latter quickly took out a tablet from his pocket. Leo said, "This is all the evidence that you need to make the decisions about all the corrupt people in the charitable organization. Another thing that I would like to tell you is that all this, is an internal job."

Stefan raised his brow, and asked, "Who?"

Leo sighed and replied, "Your third brother. He doesn’t want to sell the family for greed, but the fact is, your father didn’t leave him much, just an apartment in the city, and so, he has been constantly humiliated and poked by someone. Causing this explosion."

Stefan and Leo were walking through the corridor of the ground floor, many people saw them but they didn’t approach them. As Leo was filling Stefan in on the details of how Harry Shrine was the one pulling strings behind this and siphoning off the money from his third brother, a group of old doctors and officials from the hospital rushed over quickly.

They were shocked when they heard that Stefan Grimm has arrived downstairs with a group of reporters. The director of the hospital rushed over, his forehead covered in sweat. Stefan smiled and replied, "Director Hyne, what a welcome gesture this is. Rushing over to greet me even when you are piled up with work. I am so grateful."

Director Hyne smiled wide, and said, "What are you saying, Mister Grimm, it is my pleasure to meet you. Tell me, how can I help you?"

Stefan smiled very happily and said, "Just call over all the doctors to gather in the auditorium. I would like to announce a few things to them. Also, arrange for someone to give Mister Cardinal and Young Miss Lily a tour of the hospital."

Director Hyne nodded and without paying much attention to Leo, he arranged for a nurse to show them around. That done, Stefan nodded to Leo and led the people away from the ground floor. The young nurse on the side was flustered and asked, "Sir, where would you like to go first?"

Leo smiled and replied, "Sister, we would like to go to the children ward."

The nurse was surprised but she agreed and led the two of them through the hospital while telling them various things about the place. This hospital was created by the Great Grandfather of Stefan Grimm, since then this hospital has been under the families control and they treat forty percent of their patients for free.

However, after a while her smile vanished, and Lily asked, "Big Sister, what happened to you all of a sudden?"

The nurse looked at Lily’s bright eyes, and wanted to say something before she sighed and said, "Nothing, little one."

Lily looked at Leo who nodded and the little one walked over and took the nurse’s hand and asked softly, "It’s okay. You can tell me anything. I promise I will not tell anyone about it, also, my Baba can solve many problems."

The nurse was surprised, and Leo said, "You can tell us, I assure you, nothing will be tracked back to you."

His expression was calm, and confident, however, that could still not calm the nurse. Leo said, "Do you know why is Master Stefan Grimm here today?"

The nurse shook her head and Leo smiled before he said, "After five minutes, check your mobile phone and you will see. Now, let’s move on."

His words caused the young nurse to hesitate even more. They reached the children ward. There were many parents who were visiting their children. Leo thanked the nurse and told her to leave. They would be here till Mister Grimm finishes dealing with the affairs.

Leo approached a group of men who were gathered on the side while Lily confidently approached the ladies and the children to talk to them. They have decided to help these children and Leo wanted to gain some merit points.

Meanwhile inside the auditorium, around seventy doctors were sitting on chairs, and they were looking at the middle-aged man standing on the stage, and Stefan Grimm was on the podium, the man said, "Now, I will call out a few names. These people have been doing exceptional job in the hospital and holding the pride of doctors high. So please stand up when you are called as I have a special assignment for you all."

That said, he called out around two hundred names one after the other. The Hope Hospital was the biggest hospital of the Crown City, the capital of the Stag Nation. There were around one thousand and five hundred doctors working there. Only five hundred of them had attended the meeting as they were on the shift.

Stefan Grimm said, "As the chairman of the Grimm Groups Board, I am now terminating the employment of the people I have called upon. You will receive a notice within twelve hours.

Before you all try to raise any flags, let me clarify that after thorough investigation we have gathered evidence of your corruption and malpractice. So, please inform your families while you can because the next time they see you, it would be in the holding cell. The cops are waiting for you downstairs."

Stefan Grimm directly dropped the bomb and eradicated 1/3 of the corrupt network in the hospital and left everyone stunned and shocked. The righteous who were sitting on their chairs, they happily looked at each other and celebrated silently, as the storm has just begun.
