ALPHA’S REGRET: FALSE MATE, TRUE LUNA
TRUE 332
Compared to Edward, who now had no money or power, only Parker was worthy of being her father.
Having decided this, Helena called Edward back in, her face returning to its usual false warmth: “Dad, I’ve thought it through.”
Hearing this, Edward hugged her tightly: “Having you say that is enough for me.”
“However,” Helena’s tone shifted, “this matter can only be known between us privately. You must not tell anyone else, okay?”
Edward was puzzled: “Why?”
“Parker has no children. I am his only daughter. He said that after he dies, he’ll leave all his business to me. If he knew the truth now, he definitely wouldn’t be willing to leave the business to me anymore.”
Helena spoke very reasonably.
Edward also thought it made sense. After all, when Helena was born and given to Karin, Karin told Parker that this
child was adopted and they didn’t know the biological parents, which is why Parker agreed to keep her.
“Alright.”
Aurora’s POV
The next day, I went for a prenatal checkup, and Ferris insisted oning along.
“Don’t you have to work?” I asked.
“I took leave,” Ferris replied tly.
“You’re taking leave every other day. Doesn’t your boss have any objections?”
I was bing more suspicious about the authenticity of his job.
“We do charity work. The boss doesn’t pay high sries anywayi. /iBesides, people like me who are blind but have excellent work abilities are rare.” Ferris answered seriously.
I had seen Ferris work before–he was much more focused than others.

Basically, for the same task, he took less than a third of the time others needed.
Like now, although he couldn’t see, his memory was much better than ordinary people. As long as he had been somewhere, he basically wouldn’t forget what was there.
At home, he was no different from a normal person.
“Alright.” I had nothing more to say.
At the hospital, the test results came out quickly–I was pregnant with twins.
Ferris looked very nervous. We drove back home, and when getting out of the car, I immediately saw Edward standing at the front door.
Snow covered his shoes. He stood in the snow with an impatient expression, as if he had been waiting for a long
time.
Ferris also heard the stranger’s footsteps but didn’t know who it was. I told him to go inside first.
Edward looked at me, his gaze falling on the blind Ferris I was with, his eyes full of mockery.
“You didn’t listen to me back thenb, /bso now you’re living this kind of life.”
I didn’t want to hear these words and said tly: “Do you have business here?”
Edwardposed himself and stopped beating around the bush, getting straight to the point: “I’m here to warn you–stay away from Dennis. He’s Helena’s fiancé now.”
I stared at him, thinking for the first time that this selfish man could actually stand up for someone else.
Thinking of the hair I had taken from him for a paternity test a few days ago, I was even more curious–were Helena and he actually biological father and daughterb? /b
“I married Ferris and am part of the Vargan family. Tell me, how do I stay away from the Vargan family?”
Edward was stumped.
I was too assertive, leaving him unable to handle me for the moment.
He was used tomanding others and being an authoritative wealthy father. Being confronted by me made him lose face, his expression instantly darkening as he raised his hand to hit me.
I was quick to grab his wrist.
“You still want to hit me whenever you feel like it? I already gave my life back to you long ago. I’m not your

daughter anymore.”
With that, I forcefully threw off his hand.
Edward staggered, stepping in the snow and nearly falling.
After steadying himself, his eyes showed malice as he sneered: “Just because you say you’re not my daughter doesn’t make it so. The blood flowing in your body is still mine!”
“As long as you live in this world, you should listen to me.”
He took a deep breath, his gaze moving past me to look inside the house, coldly mocking:
“If you don’t listen to me, with your blind partner and the old person inside… can you fight against me?”
Just as I was about to retort, a man’s low, authoritative voice came from behind:
“Whether we can fight or not, you can try.”
I was startled and turned around. Ferris hade out at some point.
His cold features looked even more severe in the snowy night, making people shudder.
Even knowing he couldn’t see, Edward instinctively felt guilty.
He forced himself to continue: “Alpha Ferris, I don’t want to offend you, but please control your partner and stop her from going around seducing other people’s fiancé…”
Before the word “fiancé” finished, I had already raised my hand, and a crisp “p!”nded on Edward’s face.
