CHAPTER 669: THE WRONG CHOICE

Yarin's POV:

Aunt Eve wanted to take it, but the old man avoided her and looked at me pleadingly.

He wanted me to come and take this candy, just like the first three. This candy was specially given to me.

When I took the candy, the old man heaved a sigh of relief, but then he wailed in pain from his mouth blocked by the hemp rope. Only then did I realize that the rope on his hand was not tied around his hand but pierced through his palm and wrist!
