The Hacker Brainstorm Team was full of confidence, prepared for everything, and indeed, as they expected, the Gunman Team successfully took down the new area, destroyed the signal and power stations. Despite watching the screens go dark, there was no movement in the monitoring room, nor did they sound the alarm.

Looking at the electronic terrain map, several mercenary teams from the other side arrived at the previously destroyed signal and power stations, disembarked cautiously to start searching, but found no security personnel or traces of enemies. However, after a careful search, they found bullet casings, shock bomb explosion marks, and hastily buried blood, realizing that indeed enemies had infiltrated the island.

“Damn it, who the hell is so daring? To launch an island attack? It’s been at least two and a half years since anything so outrageous happened on Solo Island!!” The Mercenaries were shocked and angry.

The team leader calmed down and analyzed the situation, “The urgent matter now is to quickly notify the monitoring room and command room, let them decide. Our responsible area is not out of control, so our responsibility is minimal. Even if the General blames us, it’ll only be those bugs in the monitoring room!”

“Boss, I have a question.” A new mercenary in the team raised his hand to ask.

“What’s the question?” The leader asked.

“The fact that the enemy managed to land on the island and silently infiltrate to destroy the signal and power stations suggests they have an insider, a plan, and sufficient intelligence support. They could smoothly leave before we arrived, at least they have hackers and technicians continuously monitoring us. Since the enemies aren’t here and we’ve left our area, leaving only two people to watch, where should the enemy be appearing next?” The team member asked in confusion.

The team leader thought for a moment, his face darkening instantly, then he cursed: “Mad! Our area’s about to be screwed too!! Quick! Get in the car!!”

The group hastily jumped into the vehicle, intending to drive back to their area, and inform the monitoring room of the situation.

But in their excitement, the rough driving accidentally triggered a trap set on the road by the Gunman Team, and the vehicle’s tires were blown out!

The group got out of the vehicle and seeing the tires destroyed by the trap, they couldn’t help but curse: “Damn those guys for putting traps here? What were they thinking?”

“How did you drive!” Someone turned to blame the driver.

“Damn, blame me? How was I supposed to know there’d be a trap here? I specifically avoided the intersection and carefully checked after getting out of the car. Who knows why they buried a trap here, it’s not logical!!” The driver couldn’t help but curse too.

The group had no choice but to repair the car on the spot, while others ran back on foot.

Other mercenary teams weren’t as unlucky as them, upon arriving at the signal station and noticing anomalies, they successfully searched out a trap, yet couldn’t help but curse: “Those bastards hung traps from trees? If we trip the wire, shock bombs will definitely rain from the sky onto our heads!”

“Judging by the methods, it looks a bit like the hand grenade traps from Mexico street battles.” Someone analyzed.

“It’s meaningless! We can’t find those rats anywhere now. The urgent thing is to drive back to the signal station quickly and report the situation to the monitoring room, have them sound the alarm!” The mercenary team leader urged.

But they were so focused on hurrying back to the base that they overlooked the possibility that their responsible area’s signal station might be destroyed too.

Upon returning to the base by car, they were greeted by pitch-black roads, not a single light, and after much effort getting back to their signal station, they saw their teammates lying on the ground with two bullets in the chest and one in the head.

Those guys didn’t even bother to play. They killed people, destroyed equipment, and even left the bodies uncovered.

“Fxxk!!!” The leader cursed angrily.

“Boss, our signal station was also destroyed, I sent a message to the monitoring room, but there was no response.” A team member said helplessly.

“Don’t let me catch those guys! Otherwise, I’ll definitely make them pay!!” The leader was so furious his face was turning red. So far, they’ve only known there are enemies causing chaos on the island, but haven’t even seen the enemy, not even knowing how many of them there are.

“Those people in the monitoring room must have noticed something’s wrong, but why didn’t they sound the alarm?” The mercenary team leader found it absurd.
