CHAPTER 1238: PART 2: FIGHT AGAINST BEN (INNER HALL)

From MC’s Perspective:

Fighting Platform,

Inside the fighting platform, the middle-aged man, Ben, feels humiliated.

He knows he used his full strength in the previous attack, yet Zack Lockwood easily blocked his fist. Determined, he decides to attack again.

The next second, he charges toward Zack Lockwood.

On the other hand, I stand opposite the middle-aged man. Seeing him charge at me again, I decided to use my fist attack once more.

Isaac and the female warrior stand outside the fighting platform, observing.

Noticing Ben using the fist attack again, they exchange glances, realizing that the middle-aged man is not convinced.

In the blink of an eye, Ben appears in front of me. I raise my fist to punch again, and our fists collide.

Boom!

A deafening noise erupts. This time, I push my fist forward, forcing Ben to stumble back a couple of steps. His face darkens.

Instead of retreating to his previous position, he uses his fire element.

Boom!

The next second, red blazing fire envelops both of his palms. Anger surges within him. Looking at the fire covering his arms, he grins.

Then, he glares at Zack Lockwood and moves to strike again.

My eyes flicker. I sense a threat from that fire element, it’s no ordinary fire; it’s an Ancient Fire Elemental Force.

In response, I slightly circulate the blood force from my bones. The blood force covers both of my arms in an instant, invisible to others unless I deliberately reveal it.

Ben appears in front of me again. Using my perception ability, his body movements become slow and clear in my eyes.

In the blink of an eye, our fists collide once more, my blood force meeting his fire force.

Boom!

Another deafening noise resounds.

Argh!

Ben lets out a muffled grunt, pain coursing through him. The fire on his right arm extinguishes, and the blood force injures his right arm.

Yet, his left arm remains covered in fire. Despite the pain, he swings his left fist.

Seeing my opponent use his left arm, I immediately counter with my left fist. Our fists collide again.

Boom!

A tremendous noise erupts. The blood force instantly extinguishes the fire on his left arm and injures it as well.

Argh!

Ben screams in pain. Both of his arms are now injured, the fire completely extinguished.

Swoosh!

In fear, he attempts to retreat the next second.

My eyes gleam with a twinkle. Seizing the opportunity, I charge forward to strike his back. My punch lands squarely, blasting Ben away.

He flies forward, crashing face-first into the ground.

Gasp!

A loud exclamation erupts from the audience. Everyone watches the scene in disbelief.

They can’t believe that the Blazing Fire Faction was still attacked by Zack Lockwood, despite using the fire elemental force. It all happened within seconds.

Isaac and the female warrior are dumbfounded. They don’t understand how it happened. They know Ben’s Inheritance force is strong, yet he was defeated with brute force so easily.

Not only are they shocked, but the Blazing Fire Faction warriors are stunned as well. They can’t believe Ben was overpowered like that.

They only saw Ben using his elemental force, while Zack Lockwood didn’t rely on his Inheritance force.

In the viewing block, the main elders observe the scene. Austin isn’t surprised.

He knows Zack Lockwood’s physique is exceptionally strong due to the blood method, making it difficult for opponents to defeat him.

The other main elders watch closely. Main Elder Ann sighs in relief.

Everyone had assumed the Ancient Inheritance Power would be similar across warriors, but Zack Lockwood is fighting without using his Inheritance power.

"Why is his physique so strong?" a Main Elder from the Elemental Faction asks.

No one answers, as they don’t know either.

Only the Main Elders from the Thunderflame Faction could provide insight, but they remain silent, including Main Elder Leola, Cathy, and Rosie. Everyone watches the duel without comment.

Only the main elders of the Blazing Fire Faction are confused. They can’t comprehend how Zack Lockwood can fight without using his Inheritance force and still harm his opponent.

It’s shocking and inexplicable. Some begin to suspect that Zack Lockwood’s Inheritance is no ordinary Ancient Inheritance.

Meanwhile, on the fighting platform, the middle-aged man, Ben, stands up. He returns to his position and faces Zack Lockwood.

Fear flashes in his eyes. He didn’t expect Zack Lockwood’s brute strength to be so formidable. He realizes defeating Zack will be difficult.

Isaac and the female warrior see Ben rise to his feet and breathe a sigh of relief. But they know the real fight is just beginning.

The Referee Elder closely monitors the fighting platform, aware that the duel could turn deadly at any moment.

On the other hand, I’m observing Ben, curious about his next move. The commotion has quieted down, but the real show has yet to begin. Ben draws his weapon, a broadsword.

The next second, he executes an attack technique. The fire elemental force envelops the sword’s blade.

Slash!

He swings the sword, unleashing a powerful fire arc toward me. It happens in an instant.

If I don’t move now, the flame slash could seriously injure me. I immediately sidestep, narrowly escaping the attack’s range.

Boom!

The flame slash strikes the empty ground, creating a deafening noise.

The next moment, a shockwave spreads across the platform. The explosion causes small flame sparks to scatter everywhere. Even these tiny sparks could harm a warrior.

Swoosh!

At the same time, I sidestep here and there to avoid the flame sparks.

After landing on the ground, the small sparks create a sizzling, burning noise. All this happens within moments.

On the other hand, the middle-aged man, Ben, realizes that one flame slash wasn’t enough.

Slash!

He charges forward, slashing once or twice at Zack Lockwood. His broadsword’s blade still blazes with fire, raising the temperature on the fighting platform.

Isaac and the female warrior smile. They know the real fight has begun.
