*Cry!*

A loud cry terrorized the entire area. They couldn't help but widen their eyes.

"Something is coming from above!" The operator warned.

A bird with a wingspan of 12 meters suddenly dove from the sky and entered the cave. It flapped its wings once to stop its momentum.

It was a Tier 5 bird, but it didn't look like one. It even had human accessories, which it wasn't even supposed to have.

And the fact that it entered the cave meant this bird was the same as Reolf.

"Not good! Shoot it down!" Mr. K realized that the bird's aim was none other than Stefany and the box that contained the information about the next mission. He had to stop it.

A single flap of its wings produced a powerful gale, which caused the snipers' aim to be swayed. Still, it was a big bird, so they didn't need an accurate shot.

During that time, two things happened at the same time.

The first thing was Jay's slash. After jumping into the air, Jay had been gathering all his strength and momentum for a single slash.

His muscles expanded all of a sudden.

Jay couldn't help but recall what had happened in that movie. He cut down numerous zombies, but they continued to come after him as if they were endless.

He cut… cut… and cut again… Yet, the number didn't decrease.

This was one of the movies Clovis had experienced. It was the foundation of his sword strike, which combined with the Abyss Time. It was capable of generating enough power to contend with a person two tiers above him.

'I have cut down endless zombies. 10 times… 100 times… 1,000 times… I don't know how many times I have swung my blade, but I know it stems from the same slash… the very first slash that brings me to the path of the sword…'

Jay took a deep breath and swung his blade. The memory of his first slash and all the training he had undergone resurfaced in his mind.

He started this journey with a single slash. From that time, he had improved through various teachings and experiences. It was all his dedication to that slash.

He could proudly say this slash was the origin of his sword.

"Zeroth Blade." Jay muttered its name as he swung his blade.

"!!!" Mr. K, the one-eyed swordsman, and other Tier 7 humans sensed the indescribable pressure emanating from this slash.

For the first time in their lives, they felt how terrifying a slash from a Tier 5 human could be.

"Kh." The one-eyed swordsman leaped up, prepared to cut down this very slash.

But he abruptly swung his sword before he could reach Jay's sword strike.

The clicking sound echoed inside the cave as the one-eyed swordsman shifted his gaze slightly, finding Clovis before him. "You…"

"It's Jay's time. I don't want you to disturb it." Clovis grinned.

At the same time, Nart and Eid moved forward, including all three Tier 7 humans from the Three Swords. Nart and Eid were moving toward a single Tier 7 human, while the others faced an opponent respectively, leaving only Mr. K as the only Tier 7 human that was capable of stopping this slash.

Mr. K gritted his teeth. He had been outplayed by Clovis. Seeing this sword strike, his eyes turned bloodshot as he stepped forward.

"Haaaaa!" Mr. K roared and punched the sword strike.

"!!!" Jay couldn't help but widen his eyes in surprise. This was his strongest attack. He had made a lot of preparations to unleash it.

But the clash lasted for a few seconds, resulting in the slash getting neutralized. Even with all his power and preparations, it left only a small wound on Mr. K's fingers.

Jay couldn't help but feel a bit frustrated, thinking he could do more.

However, this attack was enough to accomplish their original objective.

After all, the second thing that happened after the appearance of the giant bird was the snipers.

Kanaria, the two rangers from the Three Swords, and even Rin immediately shifted their positions and took aim.

This was what Clovis had been waiting for. It was the location of the snipers.

Before the enemy snipers could actually hit the bird, they all sensed incoming danger.

"Not good!" Some snipers had Brain Affinity, so they sensed it fast and could take a glimpse of the attackers. Some were not so fast and reacted solely on instinct.

Nevertheless, all of them did the same thing. They threw themselves to the side as Kanaria and the others shot at them.

Kanaria was using a Soul Weapon. The sniper blasted with so much power that it obliterated the entire hiding spot. A part of the wall even crumbled.

Rin, on the other hand, released an arrow like a cannonball. It crushed the small wall standing between her and the enemy sniper. If not for the enemy's fast reaction, it would have hit his foot or another part of his body.

All four snipers from their sides shot the enemy snipers at the same time, preventing them from focusing on the bird.

As a result, the bird, Andrea, or, in short, Rea, grabbed both the box and Stefany with her talons before launching herself back into the sky.

No one would probably expect the appearance of that bird. It was the biggest bird that once terrorized the sky, Argentavis magnificens. It was large enough to carry a small human in its talons.

It was Reolf's new partner, the bird that Clovis chose to tame during his training with Mara. To once again rule the sky, it came under Clovis' wing.

Due to her size, Clovis had a hard time moving them the whole time. This was actually one of the reasons Clovis didn't meet with his teammates right away.

To infiltrate the city without being spotted, Clovis had no choice but to use the 1-day visitation of Another World Mall to put Reolf and Rea into his mall in succession before releasing them in the biggest suite he had booked in the city.

Of course, Rea had been following them the whole time, but Clovis had asked her to maintain a certain distance so as not to be spotted by both teammates and enemies to create a surprise element. And the plan worked.

Now that they had gotten Stefany as well as the mission, there was nothing else to do other than run.
