"You’re here."

Even though Wen Yu had killed Kuangliu, Lin Haifeng could still greet him with a full smile, showing no trace of negative emotion. This alone was enough to mark Lin Haifeng as a significant figure.

Wen Yu sat down beside them with a grin and said, a little sheepishly, "Well, since I’ve finally made it here, I was hoping to take a proper tour of Eternal Sky City. But there are so many buildings, and the area is huge. Could you perhaps recommend a few ’sights’ for us...?"

"Sights? Do you really think this is a tourist spot? The layout for Eternal Sky City isn’t even finalized yet; I haven’t even activated most of its functions... though it sure guzzles down magic crystals smoothly enough..."

Tang Haofei grumbled on, completely oblivious to Wen Yu’s real meaning.

Lin Haifeng, however, seemed to understand the implication in Wen Yu’s words.

"Let me introduce you to a ’sight’ then. I think you’ll like it."

Lin Haifeng offered Wen Yu a slightly mysterious smile.

Lin Haifeng led Wen Yu and his companions straight out of the central control tower—the full name of that tall structure. Its function, naturally, needed no introduction; it was the very core of the entire Eternal Sky City.

Sharing this information with Wen Yu indicated that the Earth Community wasn’t overly guarded against the Independents Mutual Aid Federation he had established. It was a form of indirect sincerity and a gesture of goodwill, or perhaps a further step towards reconciliation with Wen Yu. Tang Haofei might have also spoken with Lin Haifeng. While the specifics of their conversation remained unknown, one thing was clear: the Earth Community, led by Lin Haifeng, and the Independents Mutual Aid Federation, established by Wen Yu, were now essentially in an unspoken alliance.

As for the unpleasantness that had occurred some time ago... for both Wen Yu and Lin Haifeng, what was past was past. Lin Haifeng had plotted against Wen Yu, Wen Yu had exacted his revenge, and Lin Haifeng had paid the price. They were adults, and their dealings were driven by mutual interests—a fact both Wen Yu and Lin Haifeng understood. Past events were considered water under the bridge, though, of course, Wen Yu’s wariness towards Lin Haifeng hadn’t diminished in the slightest.

Currently, there was little reason for them to be adversaries, unless Lin Haifeng had a sudden lapse in judgment and decided to reactivate the Human Race Sequence Control Plan. However, Wen Yu was no longer a lone wolf. With the establishment of the Independents Mutual Aid Federation, the price of harming him had become far too steep. For intelligent individuals, it simply wasn’t a worthwhile endeavor.

The group strolled along the quiet streets of Eternal Sky City. Gazing at the magnificent metropolis before them, Lin Haifeng remarked with feeling, "After Tang Haofei obtained Eternal Sky City, the military immediately dispatched personnel to it to begin exploration and research. But Eternal Sky City is incredibly vast and complex! So far, aside from the central control tower itself, we’ve only managed to figure out two other locations... Care to guess which ones?"

Lin Haifeng smiled at Wen Yu.

Wen Yu pondered for a moment, then stated decisively, "It must be related to energy and the treasure land, right?"

Lin Haifeng shook his head. "You’re not entirely wrong. However, the energy core is located within the central control tower, so that’s excluded. You were correct about the treasure land. The other location is Eternal Sky City’s weapons factory!"

"Weapons factory?"

Wen Yu raised an eyebrow.

The importance of Eternal Sky City’s weapons factory was self-evident, but Wen Yu couldn’t quite grasp its relevance to him. It was a powerful asset for the Earth Community; there was no way they would allow him to intervene!

Lin Haifeng, perhaps noticing Wen Yu’s confusion, smiled and said, "Let’s take it one step at a time. First, we’ll visit the treasure land, and then we’ll check out the weapons factory."

Gazing at Lin Haifeng’s deliberately mysterious expression, Wen Yu instantly understood. Lin Haifeng definitely had a favor to ask of him.

Lin Haifeng led Wen Yu and the others at a leisurely pace toward the rear of the central control tower. About an hour later, a massive steel structure loomed before them.

Its silver-white metal shimmered brilliantly in the sunlight. The building was perfectly square and, by Wen Yu’s visual estimate, stood at least a hundred meters tall, covering a vast area.

"This," Lin Haifeng explained to Wen Yu, "is the site of the permanently accessible treasure land in Eternal Sky City! The Dominator’s design for the treasure land layout here is very convenient—all of them are housed within this single structure!"

He then walked over to the building, gently brushing his right hand against its outer wall.
