Apocalypse: Transmigrated General's Daughter Uses Space to Survive
Chapter 313: Little White
CHAPTER 313: CHAPTER 313: LITTLE WHITE
Everyone there was surprised by this action. Even Chu Miao, who had memories from her last life didn’t know what was happening.
However, she was sure that the tiger was no threat to her and was in fact, an ally. Realizing that the feeling of danger she had been experiencing when she was a distance away had completely faded, Chu Miao knew that the tiger would not harm her or anyone close to her.
It was just a feeling, but she had learned to trust her gut. Since that was the case, she walked over to the tiger and stood in front of it.
Although it was laying down with only its head slightly raised, the tiger’s head was still at the same level as Chu Miao’s chest.
Chu Miao stretched her hand to its head and touched the crown. The tiger raised its thick paw with sharp nails that could tear an elephant and scratched Chu Miao’s hand lightly.
There wasn’t much pain or bleeding. Only a few drops of blood appeared on the surface of the wound and before she had time to understand what had just happened, the drops of blood lifted off the surface of her skin and flew towards the forehead of the tiger.
Even though the process was a little different from what she remembered, Chu Miao was aware that the tiger was forming a contract with her and the process couldn’t be interrupted.
She hoped that the bumpkins following her wouldn’t see the tiger as a threat and try to attack it just because it had scratched her. Especially her silly brother.
Without caring about other distractions around her, Chu Miao then concentrated on the process of forming a contract with the white tiger.
Just as Chu Hao was panicking and about to rush forward to fight it out with the tiger that had hurt his little sister, Ye Xuan used his spiritual energy to create a protective barrier around the two in the midst of forming a contract.
He also stood behind Chu Miao like an ancient guard who would die before letting anyone near his master. This wasn’t really a good comparison but it was what it looked like at that moment.
Seeing Ye Xuan form a protective barrier and also stand there to guard his sister, Chu Hao did understand. He knew that if his sister was hurt, Ye Xuan would be the first to turn against the attacker, but he didn’t understand why this time he was harbouring the tiger.
"Why are you stopping me from teaching that tiger a lesson? It hurt Bunny." Chu Hao complained about Ye Xuan’s decision.
The others didn’t know what had happened, but they knew for sure that Ye Xuan would never hurt any of them, let alone his lover.
Thus, there must be a reason for his actions. Thinking of this, Gu Fan and Jing Xian rushed over to stop Chu Hao from continuing with his tirade.
"Stop. Do you really think the boss would hurt your sister? He probably did that to protect her. You can see that the tiger didn’t really hurt her but something is going on.
The boss is probably doing this to stop us from accidentally interrupting your sister. Be patient." Gu Fan said in a low voice.
It was only then that Chu came back to his senses. The guy had a serious case of sister-complex and didn’t like to see his sister in pain, not even a bit.
That was why when the tiger swapped its paw at Chu Miao, everything appeared magnified to him. Whether it was the small wound that appeared, the few drops of blood, or the scratched skin.
Everything appeared bigger than it really was because he was too worried. Now that he calmed down, he realized that he had overreacted and laughed nervously.
He hoped that his impulsiveness had not affected whatever his sister was doing.
The others didn’t blame him either. They had all realized a long time ago that the Chu family was basically a family of Chu Miao’s crazy protectors.
If Chu Miao lost a strand of hair, they would act as if she had lost a leg or an arm. Therefore, it wasn’t surprising to see Chu Hao almost go crazy over a broken skin and a few drops of blood.
As the group waited, they saw a bright red light shoot from the top of the tiger’s forehead and enter the space between Chu Miao’s eyebrows.
After that, a pillar of light rushed from the sky and covered both Chu Miao and the tiger. The light lasted for about a minute before it disappeared.
When Chu Miao opened her eyes, the light had disappeared and instead of a massive tiger lying in front of her, there was a white tiger cub the size of a cat.
Chu Miao looked at this cub that was identical to the massive tiger and wondered whether it was the same animal.
Before she could figure out what had happened, she heard a baby-like voice in her sea of consciousness.
"Master, I finally found you."
Chu Miao turned around sharply a few times but didn’t see a baby anywhere.
"Whose talking?" She asked out aloud.
"Miaoer?" Ye Xuan, who had been observing his girlfriend from the side, called out when he heard her question.
They hadn’t heard anyone speak, how could anyone have said anything?
"Master, it’s me, little white." The babyish voice came again.
"Little White? Who is that?" Chu Miao asked again out loud.
The people around her were now starting to wonder if Chu Miao had encountered something unclean and she was starting to see things.
"It’s me, the white tiger. Master, have you really forgotten me?" The baby voice came again.
"White tiger?" Chu Miao asked in surprise.
"Yes, I am one of your soul contract beasts. How could you forget about me master?" The babyish voice was heard again.
This time Chu Miao wasn’t very surprised, but she was shocked.
