"Contacted beast? What is that?" Lei Ying asked right after.

"It’s like a life and death companion. It can help in battle and other situations.

This one can even act as a mount in the future. But it’s awfully talkative." Chu Miao explained to the others what had happened.

"Why did you give it crystal cores?" Ye Xuan asked.

"Oh, it asked for a meeting gift. So, I gave it crystal cores and it likes them a lot. Little White said that the crystal cores have a certain energy that can speed up the cultivation of beasts and allow them to grow stronger faster.

I am guessing the same energy is needed by zombies." Chu Miao commented after replying to Ye Xuan.
