CHAPTER 322: CHAPTER 322: TAKING SAMPLES BACK

Chu Hao stopped in his tracks when he heard his sister’s question. He had been so focused on looking at the scenery and examining the mountain that he didn’t think of bringing any samples back at all.

"I brought some back." Lei Ying’s voice was heard behind Chu Hao.

Luckily for them, even though Lei Ying usually acted like a goofy, when it came to serious matters, he was quite reliable.

It was the reason he had been Ye Xuan’s assistant for so long even at the company and handled the delicate and sensitive matters.

"Brother, you are a live saver. How did you think of taking back the vegetation here?" Chu Hao asked with overflowing admiration.

"Isn’t that normal? We are going to live here at some point. You also saw how that tree behaved when we came earlier. We have to take precautions in case there are man-eating plants on the mountain." Lei Ying didn’t think he had done anything special.

As a soldier, something so basic wasn’t worthy of praise. But he was still smug when Chu Hao praised him for thinking ahead.

"We also picked up a few stones that don’t look like they belong on this mountain. We can have them tested as well." Murong Yi said as he and his small team too walked towards the entrance of the bunker where they were meeting.

"This place has some foreign vegetation, but there are also common wild vegetables like mushrooms and other edible plants.

There are also some poisonous plants and animals. The number of snakes spotted was quite a bit. I guess because they had been holes away for so long due to the rain and now that it has stopped raining, they are coming out for the sun.

There are also a good number of animals that can be used for meat including rabbits, pheasants, and small deers.

There may be others but we didn’t have enough time to explore the whole mountain so we didn’t see them." Jing Xian said happily as he thought about the different types of lives they had seen on their short tour.

"That’s good. We can raise animals for meat on the mountain later. But we still have to be careful because we don’t know which have mutated and which haven’t

Don’t forget about the fish we encountered before." Ye Xuan warned his brothers who seemed too pleased with themselves.

"Yes, captain." The brothers replied in unison with a standard military salute.

"Shall we go back then? It’s about to get dark and going down the mountain will become challenging at night." Gu Fan looked at the sun that was setting and showed that it would be dark in less than ten minutes and suggested.

"Let’s head home. But we won’t go by boat. We will teleport back.

I want to see if I can teleport all of you back home at once.

It will also give me a feeling of the trajectory and energy I should focus on when building the teleportation arrays for large-scale use." Chu Miao volunteered to be that day’s transportation and no one objected.

After all, they could be home in the blink of an eye instead of spending more than an hour on the way home.
