CHAPTER 29: 29. ONLY I CAN TOUCH THIS TODAY.

Tang Yanqing stared at Shi Nian for a full three minutes, holding his breath, without moving. He looked around, couldn’t find a tree, and walked off with a brush of his head.

"Hey, sir, unlock these handcuffs for me!"

Tang Yanqing had already walked out of the alley and was standing under the streetlamp. He ignored Shi Nian, took out Shi Nian’s confiscated phone, turned it on, and dialed the last outgoing number: "...come pick her up, right."

After saying that, he glanced back at Shi Nian, didn’t say anything, and didn’t intend to return. He just took a bunch of keys from his pocket, waved them at her along with a small piece of paper, and placed them on the ground at the entrance of the alley.

The streetlight shone down, casting a bright reflection on the keys.

Then, he just left!

Shi Nian cursed in frustration, stretched her leg hard, trying to hook the bunch of keys. But her leg wasn’t long enough, and it was in vain.

"Sir, mark my words, I’m definitely going to sue you!"

The echo buzzed, traveling far in the dark and silent alley.

Two cars drove in from the left and right. Tang Yanqing casually got into Jia Tianzi’s police car, leisurely watched the girl in the other car run out, follow Shi Nian’s shout into the alley, and then come out again to pick up the keys on the ground... Tang Yanqing looked especially closely to confirm that the girl picked up both the key and the slip of paper, before curling his lips and ordering, "Drive."

The alleys in this area were too narrow for cars, hence Jia Tianzi was a step late in arriving.

He felt that something was off about Tang Yanqing tonight—since getting into the car, he had been slightly smiling, as if in a particularly good mood.

And he kept unconsciously sniffing his fingertips all the way.

Ye He fumbled around and finally unlocked Shi Nian’s handcuffs, then hugged her and was about to cry: "Boss, you’ve been wronged. I told you not to hide the drugs on you..."

Shi Nian sighed: "It’s not about the drugs, it’s about the recording device." Saying this, she quickly pulled out the small piece of paper from Ye He’s palm.

It turned out to be a business card.

It was from a legal aid office, and the lawyer’s English name was Yancy.

"What does he mean?" Shi Nian was a little confused.

What annoyed her even more was that the detective just left like that, and she never got the chance to see his credentials. He had searched her whole body, and yet she didn’t even know who he was!
