"Then at least you'll know. At least you tried. Just be honest with him. And with yourself. Stop hiding behind excuses. Stop running. Face him. Talk to him. Even if it's hard. Even if it hurts."

Lumindra's voice softened slightly. "But if you keep running, you'll never move forward. And you'll never be free from this feeling."

Zoey closed her eyes, her mind spinning.

It was so simple.

And yet, terrifying.
