CHAPTER 415: SUCCUBUS’ SADNESS

Seeing that the succubus had misunderstood, Daniel was forced to give some extra explanations to clear up the misunderstanding, though he made sure not to reveal too much, especially about their real goal.

He just came up with a few fake excuses that their objective was to do something outside the city and that they heard she might be able to help them.

For whatever reason, maybe Daniel’s looks or something else, the succubus didn’t push too hard and simply believed them.

Though it was mostly because she didn’t want to believe that a man as attractive as Daniel would have such preferences or anything like that. She preferred to enjoy that thought for herself.

"How long will it take?" Daniel asked.

"If you just want him to look like a woman, around two hours. If you want him to become a real beauty, about six hours," the succubus glanced at Andreas and, after thinking a bit, replied.

"Alright, that’s fine. How much will it cost? If possible, I want you to start as soon as you can."

But before the demon could answer, Andreas interrupted, voicing his disbelief.

"Are you seriously telling me right now? You want to turn me into a woman? Why the hell would you want that?!"

"Don’t worry, it’s only temporary," Daniel tried to reassure him, but clearly it didn’t work.

"What do you mean only temporary? Why the hell do I need to become a woman in the first place? Do you want to destroy my dignity? What if Ilaris finds out, how the hell am I supposed to explain it to her?!"

"No one’s going to find out. Besides, don’t you want to get our mission done? For that, this is necessary."

Andreas opened his mouth to reply but no words came out... it was like he went mute and didn’t know what to say or do.

He wasn’t stupid, he understood Daniel’s words and more importantly his plan. But deep down, he still didn’t want to go through with it... doing this meant trampling all over his pride.

But did they have another way? Unfortunately, the answer was no. Daniel himself would never agree to something like this, and he could easily find excuses to dodge it.

"...I get it." Andreas sighed and finally nodded.

"Alright, where were we? Right, how much is it going to cost?" Daniel turned back to the succubus and asked.

"Hoho, it’s not that much. You just need to spend one night... no, one month in bed with me." The succubus licked her lips and took a step closer to him.

She placed her hand under his chin and tried to press her huge breasts against his chest.

"That’s not happening. How much in gold coins do you want?" Daniel pulled back.

He had no intention of sleeping with a demon, much less a succubus, and for an entire month at that. Who knew what diseases he could catch in that time?

Not to mention, he didn’t plan to waste a whole month; he had more important things to take care of.

"Hmm, what a shame," the succubus sighed, giving him a bitter smile. Even her expression looked sad, almost withered.

Andreas almost burst out laughing when he saw it but forced himself to hold back. He never thought he’d witness a scene like this in his life.

"...Then it’ll be around 500,000 gold coins," she finally said.

"500,000 gold coins? For this?!" Daniel’s eyebrows shot up in surprise. That was a lot of money, and it didn’t seem worth it.

"If you don’t want to, get lost," the succubus growled, clearly pissed off and trying to vent it this way.

"I guess it’s fine." Daniel agreed and pulled out 250,000 gold coins from his inventory, dropping them in front of her.

"I’ll give you the rest when the job’s done."

"Good. You can come back in six hours," the demon looked at the coins and nodded.

Then she grabbed Andreas’s hand and dragged him away with force. Sadness once again appeared in Andreas’s eyes, and for a moment he wanted to resist.

But he sighed again and gave up on resisting.

"Well, now I need to figure out a way to enter that inn." After they left, Daniel also stepped out of the tent and looked up at the sky

The first step of his plan was being set in motion. In the meantime, he had to think about the second step—how to meet their target, which he doubted would be easy.

According to what the receptionist said last night, to enter the inn where Aden was staying, he needed to be invited, meaning he needed an invitation.

But where could he find one? That was the problem, he had no clue.

"Maybe I should go back and talk to him again," he muttered to himself. Even if it meant paying more money again, he didn’t really have another option.

After that, he returned to the inn and went straight to the receptionist desk.

"Welcome back, dear guest, did a problem come up?" the receptionist greeted him with a smile.

Daniel didn’t waste words and dropped a thousand gold coins on the desk.

"I see. What is your request?"

"How can I enter Paradise Inn?"

"Entering that inn? Not easy. All the rooms there are already reserved, and before entering, you need to show proof that you’ve reserved a room. Otherwise, they won’t let you in. Of course, like I told you last night, if you have an invitation, you can enter as a guest for a while." The receptionist answered before continuing.

"There are a lot of guards protecting the place, and let me tell you, don’t even think about forcing your way in. It’ll cost you dearly."

"That’s exactly why I came to you. Do you have a way or not?" Daniel frowned and asked again.

"Well, there is one way," the receptionist smiled, his eyes falling on the gold coins.

Daniel sighed and pulled out another ten thousand gold coins from his inventory, dropping them on the desk again. He didn’t want to pay, but he had no choice.

"As I said, there’s one way—fake invitations. Risky, yes, but at least they’ll let you in for a few hours."

"How can I get one?"
