The plant tasted terrible, it were bitter and left an unpleasant aftertaste. He almost spit it out but chose to swallow but that was another mistake.

He regretted it the moment he swallowed, his stomach grumbled and he threw it all out. He had a strange look on his face.

’ I... can’t eat plants anymore.’ he knew this was bad, while he couldn’t say he was a fan, plants still satiated his hunger before but without being able to eat them.

He will be forced to go hunting everytime he get hungry. He sighed, his future didn’t sound very fun.

An entire week passed and he was yet to heal but his stomach kept growling. He was very hungry and he felt weak but there was nothing he can do about it.

Unless he ate the fish around him but he had gotten so used to them that he couldn’t bear to do that, plus while he is hungry he knew he can still hold on for atleast a month.

But he still regretted eating the crocodile all at once, he should’ve saved some for after evolving because he knew he always woke up hungry after evolving.

But he just didn’t anticipate he will be conscious and unable to move. ’ System, why didn’t you make me unconscious like before?’

There was no answer ofcourse. He had noticed these peculiarities with the system.

While it was mostly robotic there were times it sounded more alive and honestly he wasn’t the biggest fan of it personality. Time passed and a week later he stood up.

While his body still hurt it was better than before, atleast now he can move without feeling like he was being punched my Mike Tyson.

He dragged his giant body and God was it huge. It felt heavy as well, each of his steps picked up dust underwater and he felt it sink into the muddy floor.

Then he rose and starting swimming, his body flowed freely in the water, he swung his tail left and right even though it didn’t contribute much to his swimming, he just wanted the experience.

The water parted everywhere he passed and his powerful aura blasted out unrestrained. Fish and crabs ran to hide the moment he appeared, it felt good to be feared, this was how lower lifeform should act around a mighty dragon such as he.

But it was inconvenient, his aura was so powerful that everything ran away as soon as he showed up, while he could easily outrun or in this case outswim them it would be painful.

He was currently moving at his maximum comfortable speed, anything faster or more straining would just bring a wave of pain but he was still moving faster than a boat.

So he restrained his aura, his ability to hide his aura had grown even stronger, now he appeared like a normal giant dragon, only those stronger or equal to him in strength can possibly sense his aura now.

With his aura hidden it was easy to catch fish, they reacted too late and while he can barely use a fraction of his actual speed he was still not slow.

Atleast not slower than a normal fish. A few hours of hunting and probably hundreds if not thousands of fish later his stomach was full and he dragged his body back to his hiding place.

Seeing the evolution points he changed his mind, now he was glad he ate the crocodile or the points he would’ve gotten from it would’ve been very few after evolution.

What troubled him though was that the amount of points he got from eating all of those unranked fish were not enough to even show up.

That was indeed troubling, with his bloodline reaching the peak of sky grade and him reaching rank 3, the number of creatures that can provide him with substantial points were very few.

He sighed ’ I so pity my future self ’ what even worse was that to leave this place he will have to face a rank 4 frog or possibly two rank 4 creatures if the hippo is included.

He was hoping to accumulate points, even if not enough to reach the next evolution he should atleast grow to the late stage which to him now was between 21-30 evolution points.

He estimated that by then he would’ve grown to be atleast above 10 metres which will made him ridiculously fast with his flash trait.

With it alone he would already be able to move 3400 m/s, even faster when you add his natural speed and his strength would be insane as well.

If he had to estimate his weight he probably weigh about 40 tons, give or take. Even right now he was as tall as an elephant and even longer. A body this heavy makes his herculean strength ridiculously more powerful.

Not to mention his iron scale trait, he wasn’t even sure if a missile could take out his current self but he didn’t really know how powerful missiles were so he couldn’t say.

However when he thought about his current strength he grew excited, his inner child wanted to try it out right then and there unfortunately he was still weakened so he couldn’t fully test it but he will the moment he fully healed.

That moment came less than a week later, his body felt amazing, he didn’t feel any pain when he moved infact he felt overwhelming strength like he could crush a mountain with his barehands but that was ofcourse merely an illusion.
