The alley was now silent except for the groans of the two remaining beastmen, as they were too injured to move. Their bodies began to tremble as they begged for mercy.

"P-please... Spare us. We will do anything. J-Just let us live." The Beastman with the two broken limbs said, and the Beastman with the broken rib also said, "We were just following orders! Please, we didn''t know who you were."

Liora looked at them and crouched down. "So you are following orders, but do you think that will excuse your action? and that will make me feel merciful to you because you begged? How pathetic."

Without hesitation, she stood up and kicked the beastman''s ribs, making it injured even more. The beastman whimpered while clutching his ribs. "W-We didn''t mean it! W-We''re sorry!"

Lioa tilted her head and smirked as she bared her claws. She then chuckled and said, "You''re sorry? Don''t worry. You will be."

Meanwhile, the two tamers frowned after seeing Liora torture the two beastmen. Their arrogance had disappeared and been replaced by cold sweat and the urge to flee.

"We need to get out of here. She is too strong for us," one of them whispered. The other tamer nodded, "Agreed. Let''s run away while she''s distracted."

But as they turned around, they found their path was blocked. Luna stood at the mouth of the alley. She was calm as she looked at the tamers as if they were toys. She then asked, "Where do you think you''re going?"

The tamers froze as they faced her. One of them was trying to be brave and took out a knife from his belt. "You''re just a girl. How dare you block us?"

He lunged forward, his knife aimed for Luna''s throat, but Luna''s movements were faster and sharper. With a flick of her wrist, she drew her own dagger, parrying his strike and disarming him with a single motion.

Before the tamer could react, Luna''s other hand came out with her second dagger, sliced cleanly across his wrist. The man growled in pain as he clutched his bleeding hand.

Luna didn''t stop there and used the dagger to cut open his stomach. The tamer screamed in pain as he tried to stop his stomach from bleeding too much.

She crouched beside the first beastman and asked, "Going somewhere?" Liora then grabbed him by the throat and lifted him to the air easily. He gasped as he was panicking.

Liora smiled as he said, "Please receive my gift... life before death." Liora used her claws to slice across his neck with surgical precision—not enough to kill, but enough to let his lifeblood seep out slowly.

She then released her grip and let him fall to the ground. With his broken limbs, he could not even move and whimpered as he lost his strength.

The second beastman tried to rise, but Liora moved fast and kicked his ribs again to bring him down. She then raised him up and slashed his knees, forcing him to kneel in front of Liora.

Liora smiled as she thought of something: "Let''s make this interesting." She trailed her claws lightly across his chest before driving them into his abdomen.

He screamed out loud as he felt the intense pain as Liora twisted her hand and took out his beating heart. Liora smirked and threw the heart aside. Enjoy new adventures at empire

Lioar then wiped her claws with the beastman cloth and smirked. "Done." She turned around and walked toward Luna.

Luna also walked to Liora and looked around the corpses and half-dead mercenaries. This scene didn''t scare them; instead, it made them happy.

Luna smirked, saying something while gesturing at them. "Good. They deserved every moment of this for what they have done."

Liora nodded and turned around, walking toward the mouth of the alley. "Let''s report back to master. He''ll want to know the Garrans are behind this."

Luna smirked as she also thought the same. "Yes, and I''m sure that this will be a gift for him and he''ll have plans for them after this."

The two women then walked out for the alley, leaving the remains of the mercenaries that they had killed as a warning to anyone foolish enough to challenge Lucius or even his maids.
