CHAPTER 21: CHAPTER 21 UNCLE, I FEEL SO DIZZY!

At his approval, Li Sili’s face lit up with excitement. Her big eyes curved into crescents, and she said with a pout, "I knew it, Uncle! Don’t take what Ruan Bingran and the others said to heart."

"When we get back to the dorm next semester, I’ll help you teach her a lesson."

She patted her modest chest, her face flushed. She was clearly a little drunk from the few glasses of red wine.

Fang Sihan and Yun Yuqing had also had a few drinks and looked adorably tipsy. Perhaps loosened up and emboldened by the alcohol, they copied the younger girl, patting their own ample chests and promising they would also back him up when the time came.

Looking from the girls to the empty wine bottles and plates on the table, Sun Dasheng decided it was time to call it a night. He beckoned over the server, who had been waiting by the door, to settle the bill. The meal and service fee were deducted from his VIP card.

He hadn’t had anything to drink, so there was no need to call for a designated driver.

By the time they finished eating, it was 10 p.m. In the nearby Jiangsu-Zhejiang region, most shops would have already closed, leaving the streets deserted. But in Dahu City, the nightlife was just getting started.

None of the three girls wanted to go home so early, so Li Sili suggested going to a bar. She had worked part-time there as a hype girl before but had never gotten the chance to have fun as a customer.

"You’re still a kid. Why would you go to a bar?" Sun Dasheng freed a hand to gently tap her on the forehead.

"Ow!" Li Sili clutched her forehead, exclaiming dramatically, "Uncle, that hurt!"

"What are you making such a scene for? Anyone who didn’t know better would think I’d actually done something to you," Sun Dasheng said, unamused.

"I don’t care! Uncle, you have to make it up to me," the young girl whined playfully.

He felt a headache coming on, but he was at a loss for how to handle her. For some reason, Li Sili always gave him a special feeling, an inexplicable sense of closeness. As a result, his patience with her was naturally much greater than with others.

"Fine, pick another place," Sun Dasheng relented, seeing no other choice. "But not a bar. It isn’t safe for three young women like you. If anything happened, I couldn’t bear the responsibility."

Li Sili relented. Her eyes darted around before she looked to her two roommates in the back seat, asking for their opinions.

"How about the Good Voice KTV? Si Li, haven’t you always wanted to go sing karaoke there?" Fang Sihan suggested.

As art school students, all three girls had some talent. While their singing wasn’t professional, they could definitely be mic hogs at a KTV.

...

The Good Voice KTV wasn’t far from their school. It was the largest commercial karaoke bar in the area, occupying three floors of a massive building.

When they went in, the place was quiet and not too crowded, likely because the university was on winter break.

"Perfect, it’s not busy now. Usually, you have to wait in line," Li Sili said cheerfully, pulling Yun Yuqing toward the front desk to get a room.

"Won’t the owner lose money opening such a big KTV right next to a university?" Sun Dasheng was skeptical. "Do students really have that much spending power?"

Fang Sihan, who had stayed behind with him, explained, "Every weekend, a bunch of luxury cars park at the school gate. Most of those guys come here to spend money. When business is booming, the KTV manager even comes to our campus to recruit part-timers."

Sun Dasheng nodded. He got it now—there were plenty of ’sugar daddies’ coming here to spend their money.

"You’re so beautiful, I’m sure luxury cars have come looking for you, too," Sun Dasheng asked pointedly.

"Tch! Don’t think that just because I’m a freshman, I don’t know what’s going on when those luxury cars pick up the upperclassmen. I would never do something like that." A look of disdain crossed Fang Sihan’s face, but in her heart, she thought, They’re all greasy old men. The sight of them makes me want to puke. I could never bring myself to do it. "Unless," she said, her gaze landing on the mature and handsome Sun Dasheng, "it was someone as outstanding as you, Uncle."

Facing the young woman’s ardent gaze, Sun Dasheng averted his eyes. Just then, Li Sili’s childlike voice called out at the perfect moment.

"Uncle! Si Han! Hurry up, we got a room!"

"Let’s go."

As Sun Dasheng beat a hasty retreat, Fang Sihan watched his back and thought, Gotta keep trying! before hurrying after him.

Li Sili was a pragmatist. Since there were only four of them, she chose a small room. It was quite nice—compact but exquisitely decorated. Sun Dasheng found it rather cozy.

The three girls grabbed microphones and immediately kicked off a karaoke battle. They invited Sun Dasheng to sing a duet with them several times, but he refused. His skills were limited, to say the least. While others might sing for their supper, his singing was deadly. After a few painful attempts, he retreated to the side, content to sip his drink and watch them perform.

He had to admit, listening to good singers at karaoke was an auditory treat in itself.

With no outsiders present, the three girls let loose and had a blast. Sun Dasheng ordered them several rounds of fruit platters and drinks, always pointing to the most expensive items on the menu. The bill for the refreshments ended up being much higher than the cost of the room itself.

Impressed by his free-spending ways, the marketing manager quickly added him on WeChat. Seizing a moment when Sun Dasheng was alone, the manager leaned in and whispered, recommending their in-house hostesses. Hinting that the girls were "open to anything," he even showed Sun Dasheng some illicit, pulse-pounding photos on his phone.

Okay, the girls in the photos look incredible, he thought. They all have perfect hourglass figures and bodies that are off the charts. But come on, man, you’ve got to read the room. I’m here with three female students, and you’re pitching me this?

"Next time, for sure," Sun Dasheng said, finally managing to send the clueless manager away after much polite refusal.

He’s trying to get me to make a mistake!

All the drinks had left him feeling bloated, so he headed to the restroom.

After relieving himself, he was washing his hands when he looked up at his reflection in the mirror and muttered, "Wounded by wine and women, and I look so haggard... From this day forward, I quit drinking!"

He flinched as the ice-cold water hit his hands. He quickly shut off the tap and moved to the hand dryer in the corner. Despite the KTV being warm and cozy, the tap water was still bone-chillingly cold.

Suddenly, a pair of hands covered his eyes, plunging him into darkness. "Guess who?" a playfully seductive voice whispered by his ear.

Sun Dasheng didn’t recognize the altered voice at first. But the hands covering his eyes were soft and slender, and he could only think of one person tall enough to reach him from behind.

So he said, "Fang Sihan, aren’t you a little old to be playing childish games like this?"

The hands dropped away. He turned around and, sure enough, it was Fang Sihan.

She had taken off her jacket, revealing a stunning, sequined showgirl outfit underneath.

A light, drunken blush graced her delicate cheeks, and the deep hollows of her collarbones added a hint of sexy allure. The plunging silver V-neck of her dress was so tight that it left her ample assets with nowhere to hide. Her toned, flat stomach was pale enough to almost glow, and the defined lines of her abs were particularly striking.

"Uncle, you’re no fun at all," she pouted, shaking her head. She swayed unsteadily on her feet before stumbling forward into Sun Dasheng’s arms.

"Uncle," she murmured, "I’m so dizzy..."
