Becoming a Billionaire after Divorce
Chapter 232 - 64 Xiang Yiren: This sister seems familiar
CHAPTER 232: CHAPTER 64 XIANG YIREN: THIS SISTER SEEMS FAMILIAR
"You helped me bargain for my house before, have you forgotten already?"
Standing to the side, Sun Dasheng watched their interaction with amusement.
Xiang Yiren slapped her forehead as if she’d just remembered. "I was wondering why this sister looked so familiar. It turns out she’s that beautiful real estate agent."
Then, she rolled her eyes at Sun Dasheng. "Back then, I thought this sister probably couldn’t escape your clutches. As I expected, she fell for your charms in no time."
"Alright, there are still guests in the hall. With so many ears around, let’s go inside to talk."
Xiang Yiren led them inside.
Zhong Liying couldn’t help but look back at Sun Dasheng, her grip on his hand tightening.
Sun Dasheng chuckled and patted her hand, signaling for her not to be nervous.
「Manager’s Office」
Around the coffee table sat a circle of people.
"Our humble shop is graced by the presence of another lovely sister today. By the way, you still haven’t answered my earlier question. How old are you this year?"
"I was born in ’98."
Zhong Liying had now regained her usual composure, having shed her earlier nervousness.
"What a coincidence, all three of you were born in ’98." Xiang Yiren slapped her thigh. "It looks like this ’97 baby is getting the better end of the deal, earning a ’big sister’ from all of you."
"Ziyan was born in May, and Qingyun in October. What about you?" she asked again, seemingly trying to establish their seniority.
Of course, such a trivial matter didn’t concern Sun Dasheng, who was focused on playing with the tea set.
"Then I’m the youngest. I was born in December," Zhong Liying answered.
Then, lifting her teacup, she said with elegant grace, "As the youngest, I’ll toast my elder sisters with tea in place of wine."
With that, she drained the tea in her cup.
Her demeanor immediately won the other three women over. A woman so unaffected and spirited usually wasn’t the scheming type, so they let down their guard.
Little did they know, they were all fooled by her appearance. Who’s to say an unaffected and spirited woman can’t be scheming? If she were truly their enemy, Zhong Liying could have certainly made them suffer a great loss. However, Zhong Liying had no such intentions.
After all, she was the latecomer. To put it bluntly, she was the fourth or fifth woman in his life. She was too preoccupied with her own anxiety to even think about competing with them. Besides, she was already content with the career Brother Sun had given her. She only hoped to get along with these sisters, so her current posture was simply a gesture of goodwill.
Clearly, her gambit worked. The other three women soon started calling her sister and began sharing whispers and secrets.
Before long, a voice interrupted them.
"Alright, that’s enough. This is just your first time meeting; you’ll have plenty of time to chat later. Liying is exhausted from work today. I brought her here for two reasons. First, so you sisters can get acquainted and avoid any awkwardness later. Second, didn’t the shop just introduce Thai massages? Let her go relax and unwind."
"My, my, Brother Sun, you really do dote on this new sister of yours."
The teasing, sarcastic remark came from Jiang Ziyan. She said it with a smile, holding no real malice, only a hint of jealousy.
"Brother, can’t you dote on me too!"
The other women all burst into laughter. "HAHAHA..."
"Alright, Ziyan, stop fooling around. Take your new sister with you. You’re the lady boss of this shop, after all," Xiang Yiren said. At her words, Jiang Ziyan immediately stopped her antics and led the other woman out.
Only Xiang Yiren and Lu Qingyun were left in the room.
"Qingyun, the food street next door should still be selling Brother Sun’s favorite braised duck necks. Go buy some for him to have with his drink."
"Alright, Sister Yiren."
Lu Qingyun then excused herself and left.
Sun Dasheng looked at Xiang Yiren, who was now sitting beside him, with a wry smile. "You accuse others of being scheming, but I think you’re the most scheming one of all. You sent them all away. What’s your ulterior motive?"
Xiang Yiren hugged him, placing his hand on her breast. "Brother Sun, that’s slander. What schemes could a little woman like me possibly have?"
Before he could answer, her lips were already on his.
After a long, deep kiss, she began to undo his clothes.
"I see you’re starving," Sun Dasheng remarked, sitting perfectly still as he watched her.
"Why are you just sitting there? Help me take my clothes off, too," she whined.
Her whining worked. Sun Dasheng had her clothes off in a flash.
What followed next is best left to the imagination.
...
After her massage, Zhong Liying returned to the office looking completely relaxed.
"Liying, you’re done? How was the Thai massage?" Xiang Yiren asked, her face glowing.
Zhong Liying had a sensitive nose and caught an indescribable scent the moment she walked in. She instantly knew what the two of them had been doing. However, she said nothing about it, simply replying with a smile, "It was great. My whole body feels so relaxed now."
"Where are the other two sisters?" she asked.
"Oh, they went out to buy some late-night snacks. You should have some when they get back, and then we’ll have Brother Sun take you home."
Before long, the others returned with the snacks, right on cue. It was clear they all had a tacit understanding, having timed their return perfectly.
The bags of late-night snacks, large and small, immediately whetted everyone’s appetite.
"We have snacks, but where’s the alcohol?" Sun Dasheng asked.
Lu Qingyun stood up. "Sister Ziyun’s cellar still has plenty of good wine, stored just for you, Brother Sun."
Once the wine arrived, they started playing drinking games.
The atmosphere was wonderful that night, and with the sisters being so warm and welcoming, Zhong Liying ended up drinking a little too much.
The drinks didn’t seem strong at first, but they had quite a kick. Zhong Liying, who had always considered herself a good drinker, found herself getting slightly drunk.
