CHAPTER 236: CHAPTER 65 BAI FEIFEI: THE SENIOR SISTER IS ACROSS FROM US, BE GENTLE!_2

Faced with Sun Dasheng’s scrutinizing gaze, Zhu Li dared to smile and wink at him flirtatiously.

Students from the dance academy are really something else.

After exchanging greetings, Bai Feifei led him into a nearby seafood buffet. It cost over 500 yuan per person, and the ingredients were quite good.

Midway through the meal, Bai Feifei went to the restroom, and Zhu Li immediately made her move.

"Brother Sun, this sea cucumber is quite good. I’ve heard it’s very nourishing for men. I don’t really know much about it, but you should give it a try."

She reached across the table to personally feed the sea cucumber to Sun Dasheng.

"How is it?" she asked, leaning in closer.

"It tastes fine," Sun Dasheng said, not falling for her tricks.

Zhu Li gritted her teeth. Her best friend’s boyfriend isn’t easy to deal with. As expected, there are no fools among the rich.

"This abalone is plump and juicy. You should try it," she said, licking her red lips in a suggestive manner.

"Sorry, I’ve had plenty of abalone. I don’t see what’s so different about this one," Sun Dasheng replied with a double meaning in his rejection.

"But this one is fresh. It’s a new item that no one has tasted yet. The flavor is absolutely unique," she pressed. "Don’t you want to give it a try, Brother Sun?"

As she spoke, she kicked off her high heels and slid her stocking-clad foot up his thigh. Before long, however, his large hand captured her wandering foot.

"Aren’t you afraid I’ll tell Bai Feifei?"

"I’m scared!" she said, feigning a pitiful look before a cunning smile appeared in her eyes. "But I’m guessing you won’t tell her, will you, Brother Sun?"

This dance student is certainly interesting.

"You never know."

Just then, Bai Feifei returned from the restroom and sat down beside Sun Dasheng.

"Why aren’t you two eating?"

"Your friend offered to treat me to aba—"

Sun Dasheng’s words were cut short as Zhu Li interrupted him from across the table. "Feifei, I’m so jealous! You found such a great boyfriend. He was just insisting that we wait for you to come back before we ate anymore."

She was scared to death. She never expected he’d actually dare to tell on her. She secretly shot him a pleading look, begging him not to say anything.

Sun Dasheng just smiled and didn’t finish what he was saying.

"What’s going on with you two?" Bai Feifei sensed something was off, but she was completely in the dark about what had just transpired.

"Nothing," Sun Dasheng said, deciding to let her off with a light punishment. "Your friend was just telling me about a delicious snack shop near her school that has superb pan-fried buns. She said she’d treat me sometime." He released her foot under the table as he spoke.

"Oh, is that it? I was wondering what you were starting to say before. For a moment, I thought you said abalone or something, but you meant buns! It’s true, there’s a really popular bun shop near her school with a long line every day. We can take you to try it later."

Relieved that nothing was amiss, Bai Feifei dismissed her earlier suspicion. I guess I was just being too sensitive.

"The reason I invited you out," Bai Feifei said, getting to the point, "is that I heard you have an influencer agency, right?"

"Yeah," Sun Dasheng nodded. He glanced between the two women. "Which one of you wants to be an influencer?"

"Not me, it’s her," Bai Feifei said quickly. "Zhu Li likes to post videos of her dance practice on social media, and they’re pretty popular. But her follower count has been stuck at 100,000 for a while now. That’s why she wants to sign with a professional agency to see if they can help her grow her fanbase."

She continued, "You mentioned your company last time, so I brought it up with her. She’s been pestering me ever since to set up a dinner so she could ask about joining."

"I see," Sun Dasheng said, holding out his hand. "Let me see your videos first."

Bai Feifei gave her friend a look. Zhu Li unlocked her phone and handed it over. Bai Feifei took the phone, expertly opened the short video app, and played it for Sun Dasheng.

"See, these are all short videos she shot herself, mostly of her practicing her dance routines. Her followers grew quickly at first, but now her growth has stalled."

"Okay, I get the gist," Sun Dasheng said, gesturing for her to put the phone away.

"So, Mr. Expert, analyze it for us. What’s the problem?" Bai Feifei asked, handing the phone back to her friend.

Zhu Li took her phone back and leaned in to listen intently. This concerned her future income, so she was naturally paying close attention. Of course, if I could snag my best friend’s Golden Son-In-Law, none of this would matter. But it seems like he isn’t very interested in me.

"The reason is actually quite simple," Sun Dasheng explained. "Your content is too monotonous and repetitive, so of course, its appeal has dropped off."

"Just as expected from a professional! You hit the nail right on the head. It’s all clear to me now," Zhu Li said with a look of admiration.

Did she really not know what her problem was? Of course she knew. This was all just flattery, hoping he’d be pleased enough to let her into the company.

Bai Feifei chimed in to support her friend. "It seems a professional team really is necessary. Brother Sun, Li Li’s a great candidate, isn’t she? Can she join your company?"

"Sure," Sun Dasheng said, pulling out his phone. "Call this number. He’ll tell you when to come in and sign the contract."

He gave her Yu Xiaoqiang’s number.

"Thank you, Brother Sun."

"You’re welcome."

After the meal, Bai Feifei gave her best friend a look, so Zhu Li obediently took her leave. It was time for the couple to have some time to themselves. After dinner, they went to a movie as the sky slowly darkened.
