Ningwan found that Zhan Hanjue was ignoring her.

"Then arrange a car for her," Zhan Hanjue finally spoke.

Zhan Hanjue snorted coldly, "She doesn’t think she’s wrong and wants to leave home, why should I indulge her?"

Housekeeper Wu understood, they were still sulking.

Never mind, he’d better arrange for the car quickly, lest the young madam be kept waiting and get angry again.

He quickly arranged a car and a driver to take Ningwan to Wu Taotao’s place.

Luckily, she only had this one place to go to, running here every time they fought.

Wu Wei saw Ningwan returning with luggage and pouted, "I told you, you couldn’t stay with him, but you just wouldn’t listen. I told you to come back with me, but you were stubborn. Wu Wei said, "Not back yet, that girl has been coming home late recently, is she dating someone? You’re both girls, maybe you could ask her when you get a chance."

Ningwan suddenly thought of Leng Ziqing. Could she really be dating that guy!?

Thinking of Mrs. Leng, her heart was full of reluctance.

"Antidote to your anger." Wu Wei handed her a bottle of green tea.

Ningwan shook her head, "I’ll just have plain water."

"What a bad habit." Wu Wei had to fetch plain water for her.

He brought over the plain water, and Ningwan took a few sips.

Wu Wei asked curiously, "What did you two argue about this time? Did he bully you?"

Wu Wei pouted, "I told you to come back with me, but you refused to listen."

Wu Wei immediately said, "Of course, I’ve liked you since we were kids."

Ningwan shook her head, "You don’t really like me, you just feel like you should take care of me. When I was little, my grandma saved your life, and she told you to protect me, so you made it your mission to protect me. Even though, later on, I didn’t need your protection, you still felt you should. Liking someone shouldn’t be like that; it should be a mutual thing, not based on a sense of duty from a mission."

"You always talk about big philosophies. There are so many couples in our village, they don’t have so many big philosophies, and they live their whole lives together just the same. What so much nonsense, I only know that I could live my whole life with you, and never would I bully you or get mad at you." Wu Wei said.

Ningwan suddenly leaned in toward him.

Wu Wei was startled.

They were sitting close on the sofa, initially already quite near each other.

And now she suddenly moved closer, they were almost touching, nearly kissing, scaring Wu Wei into retreating a little.

Ningwan smirked and said with a smile, "If you really liked me, when I suddenly leaned over, you wouldn’t move back, you’d think about moving in for a kiss. At that moment, did you think about kissing me?"
