Being Op With My Broken System: All Limits Have Errors
Chapter 152: Strange weather
CHAPTER 152: STRANGE WEATHER
Mia came out of the Union building not long after she went in. When Simon asked why she had returned so fast, she replied that the Union was already aware and had already sent people to take a look.
Apparently, the bird’s cry and aura had also reached the City from that distance. This piece of news shocked Simon, while Alex felt that it was to be expected; this was a Divine rank magic beast after all.
Mia got into the car and instructed Simon to drive to the outskirts first to drop Alex off at his home before returning to their group’s base.
Reaching home, Alex found his parents talking about the terrifying aura that had covered the City today and thought that a powerful magic beast was close to the city or about to attack them.
Alex could sense their fear from their words. After listening to their worry, he told them that the beast wasn’t close to Balon City and was actually very far away; only its aura had spread to Balon City because of how powerful it was.
He also informed them that the Union was already on this matter and had sent out mages already. Only after hearing this did the couple calm down a little but were still a bit fearful.
How powerful did a magic beast need to be for it to be able to spread its aura over such a large area?
They decided to drop the matter for now and wait for news about the beast, since the Union had taken action, there should be words coming out soon.
The family carried on with their evening. Time passed, and Alex was soon alone in his room. He summoned his system profile after getting into his bed.

He had only gotten a bit over 300 exp points today, and he was still thousands of exp points short of the 50k points needed to craft his space vortex spell.
’That will have to wait for tomorrow.’ Alex thought to himself, thinking whether he should farm exp first or go look for that bird first.
He will decide tomorrow.
Alex then scanned his surroundings with his senses; he could still detect the presence of the mages that had been sent by Emily’s principal and the patrolling Union officers. He went to sleep after making sure that there were no suspicious people nearby.
Morning came with a bone-chilling wind, and the sky looked like it was going to rain.
Morning in Alex’s home was calm and a repeat of morning activities before the family would have breakfast together. Soon, Alex was ready to leave.
He wore a simple green button-down shirt and straight pants. Before he left, his mother persuaded him to wear a hoodie or something that would provide him with more warmth in case it rained. Besides, it was still very cold outside even though it wasn’t raining yet.
Alex laughed and said that there wasn’t any need for that and she didn’t need to worry about him. He was a mage and wouldn’t be affected by this level of cold.
His mother wasn’t totally convinced by his words, but didn’t force him. Alex left right after.
"Why did the weather suddenly change overnight? It isn’t the cold season yet." Alex mumbled to himself while leaving the outskirts. Along the way, he ran into a group of roughly dressed people.
But the group ran away as soon as they sighted Alex, their faces showing horrified expressions as if they had seen a demon.
"Hmm, they learned fast." Alex nodded in approval as he watched the fleeing group before continuing on his way.
He soon got out of the outskirts and reached a quiet area where he equipped his mask and robe, he was now Mr Chen.
After putting on his robe and mask, Alex activated the Void Walk skill and left the City; he appeared hundreds of kilometres outside Balon City when he stepped out of the second gateway.
Alex continued to use Void Walk after coming out of the City and travelled in the direction that they had gone yesterday for the group raid; he soon reached the forest where they had hunted magic beasts.
He stopped and spread out his senses to search for the bird.
After a few seconds, Alex finally picked up the aura of the beast, which was coming from over a hundred thousand miles in front of him.
As for the bird itself, he couldn’t sense it yet; it appeared that it had travelled further than where it was the previous day.
Aside from the aura of the bird, Alex also felt the presence of several others. They were mages, one was an Archmage while two were at the Master mage rank.
Alex guessed that it must be Clint, William, and the Archmage from the magic university.
They were also travelling in the direction of the bird. Alex didn’t plan to meet with them and hurried in the direction of the bird.
’Void Walk!’
’Void Walk!’
’Void Walk!’
Alex was constantly using Void walk and travelling several kilometres in the blink of an eye, his speed was insane, and he soon passed branch leader Clint and the others after just a few seconds.
Another thing that Alex noticed was that the further he travelled, the worse the weather became.
The wind was now howling and was like a fierce gust that sent even boulders flying.
"So the bird is the cause of this abnormal weather; it must be a bird with the wind affinity." Alex’s eyes flashed behind his mask in realisation, and he kept moving forward.
After a few minutes, Alex finally arrived at where the bird was. The place was a large mountain range with several irregularly shaped and tall mountains scattered across the area.
The place was in chaos!
Sharp wind that tore boulders to shreds whistled across the airspace, tall and powerful tornadoes rotated around the palace, and dust filled the air.
It was very difficult to see.
Anyone weaker would have been torn to shreds by the sharp wind thousands of times over or sent flying into the sky uncontrollably.
But not Alex, he stood on top of a small mountain peak and stared at the bizarre scene in front of him with a calm face behind his mask.
The sharp wind caused his indestructible robe and hair to flutter wildly but didn’t cause any damage to them.
After observing for some seconds, Alex took a step forward and immediately appeared on the peak of the mountain close by.
At the same time, the ground shook violently as if an earthquake were about to take place.
"Hmm, it sensed me," Alex muttered to himself as he stared in front of him.
Boom!
The area in front of Alex exploded as one of the three mountains in front of him rose into the air, sending large pieces of rocks into the air; these pieces of rocks were immediately torn into fine sand particles by the sharp blowing wind.
As for the mountain that had risen into the air, it expanded its wings and let out a deafening cry; each of its wingspan covered dozens of kilometres alone!
It was the bird, and it was several times bigger than Alex had previously imagined.
