CHAPTER 185: FINDING EMILY, WAREHOUSE.

Returning to the restroom area, Freda saw that the place was in disarray. No one was present, and the door had been broken down. A bad feeling instantly crept into her heart, and she rushed in while shouting Emily’s name.

But she didn’t receive any response. Freda immediately started to panic and began checking all of the booths, but she still couldn’t find Emily after looking through all of them.

To add to that, the doors of all the booths had been left open as if their users had run away in a hurry.

"Oh no, Emily!" Freda shouted and rushed out of the restroom area. She knew that Emily wouldn’t have returned without her so she began searching around the place and asking anyone she came across if they had seen a young girl with red hair.

There weren’t that many people with striking red hair. But no one seemed to know anything. After asking around for several long minutes, Freda finally learned from someone that they had seen a group of men in black suits carrying a girl with red hair away.

Freda’s eyes widened, and her pupils shook; she dropped to the ground as her legs lost strength.

"W-what have I done?" She said with a lifeless tone after it dawned on her that her daughter had been kidnapped when she was away.

And from what she was told, it was obvious that the people who had called her away were involved in this.

She immediately stood up and ran to where the woman in the red gown had waited earlier but they were already gone.

The next thing that Freda did was to call her husband, Zoran, and report the matter to him.

Immediately after Zoran got the call, he left Alicia in the shop and went to the Union to file a report. He called Freda back and told her to remain calm, he would be there with some Union officers soon.

"I’m sorry, it’s all my fault. If...if only I didn’t leave her." Freda’s sobbing voice sounded through the phone.

Zoran’s expression turned hard; he knew that his wife was collapsing, and he had to prevent that.

After all, if some people were bold enough to kidnap someone at such a location, what could an ordinary person like Freda do to them?

They might even have kidnapped her too!

Meanwhile, Alex was leisurely watching the match in the sitting area of the Dragonic Magic Academy. He had noticed that his mother and sister were no longer in their sitting area some time ago, but he began to feel suspicious after an hour passed and neither of them had returned.

A frown formed on his face and he released his senses over the stadium to see what was happening.

Alex soon discovered his mother, but she was all by herself, and judging from the way she was moving, there was a problem.

Alex also noticed that she was by herself; he couldn’t find Emily.

Without wasting time, Alex stood up and left the sitting area of his academy to go meet his mother.

The Dean called out to ask him where he was going but Alex didn’t respond and just kept walking.

The Dean noticed the serious air around him and decided to let him be.

Alex soon found his mother and was shocked by the state she had changed to within the one hour he had last seen her.

Her eyes were hollow, her hair was a mess, and she was mumbling to herself as she moved around the place like a ghost.

Alex immediately went up to her and grabbed her.

"Mom, what happened to you?" He asked worriedly.

Freda’s eyes regained some clarity after seeing her son.

"Emily, Emily was kidnapped." Freda managed to say before bursting into tears.

Alex’s eyes flashed with a sharp glint upon hearing this, and he then told her to calm down and tell him what happened.

Alex barely managed to stop Freda from crying before she told him what had happened one hour ago and what she had learnt while trying to look for Emily.

At this moment, Zoran arrived with the Union officers. He immediately rushed toward them after spotting them.

As he approached, he felt a chilling wind around the two. It was a strong killing intent coming from Alex.

The killing intent was so strong that it shocked Zoran and the Union officers who had come with him.

"Alex," Zoran whispered softly as he approached them.

Alex turned to look at him, his eyes cold as a thousand-year-old glacier. He handed the sobbing Freda to him before saying.

"Wait here,"

He was about to leave when a Union officer stepped in front of him.

"Kid, don’t try to do anything rash..."

Alex gazed at the Union officer expressionlessly.

"Move," his words were as heavy as a meteor.

The officer’s body shook and he subconsciously stepped sideways, his body trembling from fear; Alex gave him the same feeling as a transformed rank magic beast!

Alex didn’t say another word and kept walking till he disappeared from their sight. The Union officers just stared at him; none of them dared to stop him.

The feeling he gave off was dangerous!

Meanwhile, Alex went to the restroom where no one was present.

His eyes turned silver white as stars appeared around him and formed at a terrifying speed.

"Warden of the Rift!" Alex muttered.

The spell was immediately activated, and the aura of an Archmage spread through the entire stadium; every mage in the city who had reached the Archmage rank felt it; the two of them were actually present in the stadium.

They were Julius and Ellie.

Immediately, they sensed the aura of the spell, their eyes flashed, and they disappeared from where they were sitting previously and appeared in the restroom.

But they found nothing.

At the same time, Alex appeared in front of the warehouse using Void Walk, his eyes still glowing with silver white light which indicated that he was still using Warden of the Rift.

He could see it, they were inside here...his sister, and some dead men!

This warehouse was located in a part of Balon City that was far away from the stadium, and a van with tinted windows was parked outside.

Alex ended the spell before approaching the warehouse.

BAM!

He kicked the large door of the warehouse and immediately shattered it, shocking the people inside.

After destroying the door, the inside of the warehouse was revealed. In the centre of the warehouse was the unconscious Emily, who was tied up around the wrist by chains, and her body was suspended in the air.

Her face was bruised, and her clothes were ripped, with blood dripping from the wounds on her back; she had been whipped till her flesh tore up.

She must have lost consciousness due to the pain or blood loss.

Alex "..."

His head stiffly turned, and he looked at the five hefty men who were also staring at him. Three of them held long whips while the other two were sitting in a corner and smoking cigarettes.

"Who’s this brat? Did he just destroy the door?" One of them asked while gazing at Alex with menacing eyes.

"I think he is this kid’s brother, how did he find us so fast?"

"Doesn’t matter. He might as well join his sister, hehe."
