CHAPTER 630: CHAPTER 537: WHO KNOCKED OVER THE VINEGAR JAR? (FIRST UPDATE)

Tong Airui affectionately patted her head, "Silly wife, just look at how happy you are! Seeing you this joyful makes everything I’ve done worth it."

"Thank you, husband." Yi Luowa poked his chest with a smile. "I don’t really have much to repay you with, so I’ll just love you a little more, and care for you a little extra..."

Si Ye laughed and added, "And give me some extra perks!"

Yi Luowa rolled her eyes coquettishly, "Even if I don’t give them to you, you’ll find a way to ask for them anyway. That doesn’t count as part of my plan to repay you."

Tong Airui chuckled and pinched her cheek lightly, "We’re husband and wife, the words ’repay’ don’t fit. From now on, just serve me a few more times each day, that should do. I don’t ask for much."

Yi Luowa laughed and tugged his hand away, "The more you talk, the less proper you get. Are Sang Yu and Zi Yan still asleep?"

"No, they’re awake, having milk right now."

Yi Luowa slightly furrowed her brows, "I’ve only been back a little while, and they’re already awake? Did you wake them up?"

"Nope, I was just talking to myself about them calling me dad, maybe my voice was a bit loud, and they woke up together."

Yi Luowa glared at him and said crankily, "I knew it! Did they call you dad?"

"Call my ass. They woke up crying, then Dad came up because of their crying, and gave me a kick to throw me out."

Yi Luowa looked at him disdainfully, "Serves you right!"

"Say ’serves you right’ one more time!" Tong Airui narrowed his eyes dangerously, his large hands reaching out toward her.

Yi Luowa quickly wrapped her arms around her chest protectively, "Tong Airui, I’m warning you, if you dare harass me, I’ll call someone in here!"

"Go ahead and call, I’ll strip you right in front of them!"

Seeing his hand reaching for her pants, Yi Luowa whooshed to the other side of the bed.

"Stand still, and I’ll go easy on you. If you dare run, once I catch you, I’ll deal with you!" Tong Airui stood at one end of the bed, threatening Yi Luowa.

Yi Luowa wrinkled her nose, noticed the door was left ajar, and calculated the distance between herself and Tong Airui. Then, moving at lightning speed, she dashed to the door.

As soon as her hand touched the doorknob, she was scooped up entirely.

"Let go! Let go right now!" Yi Luowa struggled with all her might, but Tong Airui’s huge hands, like clamps, firmly locked around her waist.

"Looks like you don’t want to be fine anymore!" Tong Airui grinned as he bit her ear lightly, "Run! Why don’t you run now?"

Yi Luowa pouted and turned to look at him, "I’m calling for help, so get ready to strip me... Someone help, save me, Tong Airui is being a scoundrel!"

"Haha..." Laughter erupted outside the door from Tong Aino and Connie.

Yi Luowa shouted, "Connie, come save me, quick!"

Tong Aino joked, "Did he strip you yet? I’ll wait for my brother to finish stripping you before I come rescue you."

"No decency!" Connie rolled her eyes at him and walked to the door. She shouted inside, "Brother, sister-in-law, Mom asked us to call you down for dinner."

Even though Tong Airui knew Connie was lying, he still had no choice but to put his wife down. Before letting her touch the ground, he gave her a swat on the butt.

Yi Luowa retaliated with a kick as she opened the door to leave.

"Hahaha... Coming out dressed? This really isn’t my brother’s usual style." Tong Aino glanced at Tong Airui with a laugh. "What did you do to piss off Dad? I heard him yelling at you."

"Teasing the kids. Deserved to be scolded!" Yi Luowa huffed as she stepped out the door. "Connie, you went to bed so late last night, how are you up so early?"

"I’m used to waking up at this time every day." Connie laughed and gave her a quick glance. "Let’s head down."

Yi Luowa pursed her lips, smiling faintly, "Good thing you came, otherwise who knows how much he’d bully me."

"Wife, you and sis-in-law go down first. I’ll go grab the clothes you need to wear and bring them down." Tong Aino said before heading back to the bedroom.

Yi Luowa supported Connie as they slowly descended the stairs, "The clothes you wear normally should just be kept downstairs; otherwise, putting them on will be such a hassle."

Connie gently caressed her belly and replied with a laugh, "We’re only temporarily living downstairs, I find moving things back and forth to be a hassle."

"That’s how it was for me too. Sigh... My hardships just ended, and now it’s your turn."

"I’m doing fine. I only have one, whereas you had two."

"Connie, when your baby arrives, will Auntie come over to help?"

"She said she’ll be coming. Apparently, she wants to take care of me for a while before heading back."

Yi Luowa curved her lips into a slight smile. "That’s perfect. You don’t know how much you’ll miss your own mom during postpartum recovery... Connie, just now, my mom and dad called me."
