[BL] Challenge: 100 Baby in Fantasy World
Chapter 91: Triplet’s Names
CHAPTER 91: TRIPLET’S NAMES
Wina told Gara how Madha had stayed up all night making sure his eldest son didn’t cry long enough to disturb his sleep.
No wonder he’d managed to rest so soundly until morning.
Honestly, it touched him. Who else could be that selfless besides Madha?
"Come on, finish your food first. After this, you’ll need to pump again," Wina reminded him.
Gara glanced down at the special meal prepared for mothers who had just given birth. It tasted just right and maybe because he was starving, he finished it in no time.
When Wina carried his empty plate to the kitchen, Gara cleaned himself up, reapplied the paste over the wound on his stomach, and covered it again with fresh cloth.
He could already see the skin knitting back together. By tomorrow or the day after, it might be fully healed.
This paste is highly effective, made with nothing but his water and the maximum amount of herbs to ensure the greatest potency. He had prepared it especially for this recovery.
Afterward, he would only need to use a concoction that helped fade scars. It was originally created for Fian, then later added to his Merchant House’s product list.
Fian’s own scars had almost disappeared. Though it seemed slower than Madha’s and his—whose marks faded in mere days—it was still a miracle.
After All, those scars had clung to Fian’s body for years.
Feeling refreshed, Gara began pumping milk, determined not to think about what had happened yesterday with Madha.
The milk flowed easily this time. It was clear that it had only been blocked before.
While pumping, he walked over to the three cribs. Each one held a baby sleeping peacefully.
He hadn’t expected the third crib—the one Madha had gifted him—to be anything more than decoration, yet it proved surprisingly useful.
Looking at his children’s serene little faces, Gara realized just how adorable they all were. They even had hair already, unlike most bald newborns.
The firstborn had silver hair like Langga.
The second had jet black hair, just like Gara.
And the third, her hair was the thickest, a deep shade of red.
Gara didn’t know who the third child’s hair came from.
According to Wina, his birth father, Commander Gavin, had black hair, while Lady Vita, his mother, had ash-brown.
So that striking red must have come from Langga’s side.
Wina came back into the room carrying clean clothes and fresh blankets.
"Gara, you haven’t given them names yet," she said, seeing his son.
He actually had prepared a list—both male and female names—since Idris couldn’t determine their genders in advance.
Looking at the babies now, he didn’t want to risk giving them the wrong names.
"Mom, I’ve made a list already. Can you check it for me?" He needed to be extra careful.
Gara went to the front room to fetch a yellowish sheet of paper. It had originally been on the desk in his room, but that desk had since been repurposed to hold baby supplies
Wina read through the list. It was clear her son had put a lot of thought into it, but...
"Why do they all start with the letter A?"
Gara froze, unsure if he should admit the truth.
The reason was... honestly a little silly.
Back in his previous world, whenever he watched the ’100 Baby Challenge,’ there was an unspoken rule: children should be named in alphabetical order.
Of course, he knew this wasn’t a game. But the idea of giving his children names that lined up neatly with the alphabet didn’t sound bad at all.
There were so many meaningful names out there. It was just a matter of choosing the right ones.
"That’s because they’re from my first pregnancy, Mom," Gara admitted honestly.
He glanced at Wina, expecting her to scold him for being careless.
Instead, Wina simply nodded in approval. "I see. Back in my village, plenty of people named their children this way as well."
It was quite surprising, but it was enough to make the guilt weighing on Gara’s chest slowly fade away.
"So... what names do you think would be good, Mom?" he asked.
"This one is nice—Aldwin.
It means a wise protector, which is fitting for the eldest son."
Gara nodded.
Wina continued warmly, "Then there’s Arion. It means quick and courageous. Since your second son looks to be the weakest among his siblings, this name can also serve as a prayer for him to grow strong."
"And for your only daughter... Ava. It means free and graceful. May she become like her grandmother, Lady Vita—strong and free, yet graceful and beautiful all at once."
"That’s perfect, Mom."
He really hadn’t been wrong in asking Wina to name them. Every name carried a meaning that felt just right.
"If you like them, then we’ll use those names." Wina smiled.
For a brief moment, Gara wondered whether he should give his children a family name.
But the name ’Alterian,’ from Langga, was out of the question. His mother, Lady Vita, never had a surname, and Wina—being a commoner—had none either.
Only his father bore one, ’Eshaan.’ But that name carried a burden far too heavy, and there was no guarantee Gara would even be acknowledged as the Duke’s grandson.
For now, his children would remain without a family name.
Gara’s lips curved into a soft smile as he looked at the tiny newborns. "Hello, Aldwin, Arion, Ava. I’m your father, Gara. And this is your grandmother, Grandma Wina. From this day on, I’ll make sure you grow up healthy and happy—no matter what."
He wouldn’t let his children to face their destiny as the world’s saviors alone. Whatever came, he would walk with them.
After pumping six bottles of milk—which might not even last until night, considering how greedily his three babies drank—his second son, Arion, let out a soft, frail cry.
Just as his mother had said, Arion’s voice was so different from Aldwin’s.
Gara gently lifted the little one into his arms.
The moment the tiny baby nestled against his chest, a translucent blue panel blinked into existence before his eyes.
