In the end, the three had their choices. Both Gu Yijin and Han Suwen chose to go out while Qin An chose to meet his fans via live broadcast.

"Can I take Anan with me?" Han Suwen suddenly requested, which surprised everyone a bit.

"..." Qin An in between them were speechless. What’s going on with these two? Did the Director even approve of this?

Riding in a private hover car, Han Suwen was sitting quietly on the side as he forced himself not to look anxious.

At this moment, the young man who had his back always straightened loosened up as he lowered his upper body unconsciously to curl himself. His back was now filled with an obvious anxiety and insecurity that he never paints on himself in front of many people.

"!!!" He instinctively flinched and looked behind, only to see Qin An’s hand on him.

The latter was sitting beside him and was just silently putting his hand on his back. After that, he starts patting him with his palm staying on his back and the rest of his hand moves. It was gentle and even slow but at that time, Han Suwen could feel the warmth transmitting to his body and it somehow made his stiffened body relaxed.

Qin An didn’t say anything and just continued moving his hand. Han Suwen’s body also relaxes as a small smile appears on his lips. He just felt the young man’s silent comfort. Was this the result of the closeness that he deliberately did after such time?

He certainly knew that Qin An was never someone who took initiatives to get close even though he was willing to open himself for them. That’s why it’s always been him who would stay close to the young man. He didn’t expect this to happen, but he was really glad for this gesture.

Han Suwen took a deep breath and lowered his head to make his forehead land it on Qin An’s shoulder.

As expected, Qin An’s body stiffened but it brought a smile of relief on his face instead. Just like the anxiety inside him dissipates, all of his self-doubt also disappear

Han Suwen was now just thinking that whatever will happen later and onwards, he doesn’t want to care. Even if his future might go bad, he just thought he’ll be fine because he will face it confidently like how he always faces on stage.

Besides... he was not alone anyway.

"You should go in now." A voice sounded beside him that broke his reverie.

It was Gu Yijin.

"I lost the chance to see my parents ever again while you still had it. Will you just wait for that to come?" Gu Yijin asked.

He froze.

"Go," Qin An also spoke and nodded at him. "We will go with you."

Han Suwen took a deep breath. "... okay."

He actually didn’t know what to expect inside. He didn’t know how to find her or anything. He couldn’t even imagine how they would meet in the first place.

Will it be heartbreaking? Will she refuse? Will she see him?

Han Suwen was filled with unknown thoughts as he let his body go inside absent-mindedly.

It’s just that all his thoughts abruptly halted when he saw a woman stiffened upon hearing that they were looking for Yao Jiali.

"... You are?" The woman asked them but her eyes stayed on him.

"... I’m her son," Han Suwen answered after a few seconds of hesitating. And the bad premonition inside his heart just got worse when he saw her face frozen and looked at him with a gaze that he didn’t know.

"Her son?" She murmurs and couldn’t seem to find an answer to respond.

"Is there a problem? Is she not here anymore?" Gu Yijin asked.

"Ah no, Jiali is still here," the woman answered. She was speechless for a moment before finally sighing and looking at him.

"Maybe it’s better if I’ll take you to see her."

Han Suwen froze. Can he really see her now?

He felt he was just in daze as he followed the woman mechanically. He didn’t care about his surroundings and was just following her to a deserted room on the corner.

"She’s here." The woman finally stopped at a door.

"Young man, what’s your name?" she asked.

"Han Suwen."

"Suwen?" A gentle smile appears softly on her lips. "So you are still using the name she gave."

"!!!"

She gave?! Han Suwen’s eyes widened at that information.

"I’m very glad that you are here to meet her. Suwen, Jiali has been waiting." A bitter smile formed on her lips. "... It’s just that there might be some inconvenience."

What does she mean?

That question fell on his mind as she slowly opened the door and finally, on a large bed inside the room, Han Suwen caught a glimpse of a woman on the bed sitting quietly.
